particular props to the curly haired girl (sorry lost her name) who works the desk, breakfast, room, questions, etc, etc - she was a gem and is an asset to the hotel!!! Property was located great, there’s a Irish pub around the block that’s a MUST SEE - and a Indian restaurant around the block that’s the best we’ve ever been to!!! We’d definitely stay there again if the opportunity comes up!

The hotel was in a very good location, close to the river and a close walk to the main attractions and sites of Florence. It was a quiet place to rest at night after a long day of exploring the city. The room was comfortable, the bathroom was a good size and well appointed. I chose a single bed option with no view, and that was a good cheaper option for me whilst I was travelling for 3 weeks around Europe. The breakfast was excellent and good options provided each day.

I can’t think of anything. A little bit of noise carried from rooms or from people in the common space, but not excessive and I’m a light sleeper but it wasn’t a problem.

As a mature solo female lady traveler, your hotel suited all my needs, as close to everything including railway station. Guest lounge was well appointed with tea and coffee available at all times. Very clean and the staff were very helpful

The property was a very short walk (approximately 6 to 8 minutes) from the main train station in Florence. It was also a short and easy walk (14 to 18 minutes) to the main sites of Florence. It’s located on a quiet street and is easy ti find. The staff were phenomenal!!! They were kind, attentive and caring. The breakfast provided was ample for an Italian style continental breakfast. Fruit, pastries, toast, eggs, bacon, cereal. The room was clean and well stocked. We were invited to drink anything from the mini fridge at no charge. It was not stocked again but that was absolutely okay as most places charge you for taking contents from them anyway. Overall a fantastic place to stay!!

There was not anything we didn’t like about the property.

The gentlemen in the front desk both of them where friendly and helpful. The room size was okay and the breakfast was good and one orning we had a tour and they prepare breakfast to go very attentive and nice.

I did not like that we with advance told them that my wife was asthmatic and we got a room that was leaking water from the AC line behind the furniture cabinet. Also, if my wife had had a reaction to the damp smell it would had disrupt my vacation. We ask them about changing the room because it was a bit hotter and also the water leaking and they told us they where full and did not have other rooms at that time. I just think that they should not have put us in that room.

Property was very central and easy to find. Lots of restaurants and shops around and also very close to the Arno River and an 8 minute walk from Santa Maria Novella train station.

Look, it’s an old building so there’s gonna be quirks everywhere and in room. I booked a single room and knew I was getting a twin bed which was fine. Was still all I needed and comfortable. No view but windows opened for fresh air. One weird thing for my room (305) was a water running sound. Couldn’t tell if it was the AC unit or other rooms but it did sort of put me to sleep so not too annoying.

Clean and friendly hotel, only a ten minute walk from the station. Also they have an early 13.00 check in and were kind enough to let us check in at noon when we arrived from the station so we could easily sightsee for the rest of the day. Their recommendations for places to visit and eat were helpful too. Loved Tony the Golden Retriever in reception! Very nice breakfast and great cappuccino! Room was also refreshed each day even though were were only there for two nights. Some water bottles and coca cola included and cold in fridge- very welcome on arrival. Thank you!

All great - beds were memory foam and I found the large pillows a bit firm but that’s personal preference.

Location is good, close to the train station. Market, restaurants are close. The employees are great, we had to wash our clothes and they scheduled everything and had ready in a few hours. They gave us great restaurant recommendations. I believe the employees are the owner sons and they were always present making sure all was taken care off.

The rooms are a little small, nothing can be done with that, however need remodel and paint although the bathroom was remodel and pretty. They need to clean better and do a bit of upgrade to the hotel. Found it a little expensive in comparison to the facilities.

Very safe and quiet location, even though is only a short walk from the train station making traveling very convenient. 15 min. walk to most main attractions, 3 min walk to the river. Great breakfast, super nice staff. AC works well. Room is very clean. I like the fact the hotel is small and family run. Feels very cozy and at home.

These do not rise up to "dislike" but might be helpful information for some. We stayed on the third floor, we can hear water running, not noise from others talking though. Wifi could be more table. The staff reboots them from time to time. It works most of the time and speed is adequate for zoom meetings.
