The hotel was exceptionally clean, the staff were very helpful and friendly (probably the friendliest people we spoke to over the course of our honeymoon), and the room was exactly what we needed. Highlights of the hotel were: - A welcome gift of a small bottle of prosecco, as it was our honeymoon (which was an amazing surprise) - Very friendly reception staff, who spoke very good English, provided us with a map of Florence and highlighted the key areas of the city - Excellent air conditioning! - Close location to the train station, and a short walk to pretty much everything - Incredible shower (you have no idea how good it was until you try it) - Clean, crisp linens - Wifi both fast and reliable - Next door to Gamberini which does delightful little pastries, cakes, and coffee

The only thing missing from the room would have been some more storage for clothes such as a set of drawers.

Loved that we could come down to reception area and have our own breakfast with Raffaella accommodating us with use of the microwave for our cereals and of course a Chat and advise of any location we wished to visit. She was extremely helpful and so bubbly. This made the beginning of our day just fantastic. After our initial room was not satisfactory we were upgraded to another room which was ideal, a little noisy but that was fine as we werent home through the day hours. Only thing that didnt operate was the Heating Towel rack in the bathroom but overall lovely comfortable room. Location was great and we walked to all attractions that were close by, train 7 minutes away.

The bed in our initial room was not comfortable at all and could feel the springs. The Television stopped working and even the staff could not reset it. When the window was open a horrible smell was evident as it opened onto the building next door which had a Laundry looking us in the face. This however was noted and they put us in another room without us even requesting it.

Location is the best thing. It is very close to Riverside for morning walks, very peaceful neighborhood, very nice cafe and gelato shop downstairs. Very close to Railway station 9walkable) and on bus route. Walkable to coop (super market) and opposite road has several restaurants, including NIrvana (a vegan restaurant with fantastic food). Close to city center as well for sight seeing/tourism. Staff was very helpful and pleasant.

The wall interiors. I think the designer should have used better color and pattern scheme. The electronic safe was not working in the room. But overall, nice place.

Fantastic location. We walked a bit and ended up at the arno River. Amazing vibe of the entire place. Plenty of restaurants and an amazing night life. The hotel staff was amazing. They let us keep our luggage after check out almost the entire day. We needed hot water for tea while collecting our luggage and the receptionist was kind to do that for us herself. Will return again! Functional elevator! And safe deposit box available

Ironing facilities should be available. Complimentary water should be given.

Large room with high ceiling, cool A/C, clean, and all the necessary amenities in the room. Great location, close to train station and to the Arno River and to the major sights. All walking distance. And the staff absolutely must be mentioned! The lady at the reception who checked us in was superb! Friendly and welcoming, and took the time to give us a map and highlight on it all the major attractions she thought we might want to see. Told us which bus to take to the restaurant we selected, and even walked us outside and up the street a bit to point out the bus stop location to us! Held luggage before and after check-in.

Internet could have been faster.

the room is updated and comfortable. great water pressure for a nice shower. great location close to train station and near the river. what stood out to us the most that we will always remember is the Exceptional customer service from front desk. Upon check in the nicest friendliest lady greeted us, explained all the house rules, answered all our questions. she even provided a map with recommendations on places to eat, see, and shop. we greatly appreciated this and it made our experience in Florence very memorable. a place I definitely would like to visit again in the future and stay at this hotel again.

could improve on cleanliness. and since we visited colder season, the air conditioner in the room only had hot air. they said nothing could be done about this. I wish we had a fan to get some circulation in the closed room. there are no windows/ view. the bathroom is very small, fit one person only.

Staff were great, sorted everything I needed , I had a 2am checkin , and with no one at the hotel they sorted out self checking and all went really smooth and worked a treat. When I needed advice on a few items around florence the staff sorted everytime. I never got the lady's name at the desk but she was fantastic. Room cleaned everyday to a high standard, clean towels, bed made etc..

Like others have said, The hotel needs a bit of TLC in areas, really just some painting and cosmetic updates in the corraidors.

The hotel has excellent location just 10-15 min walk to the Ponte Vecchio, and 2 nice places nearby to buy patisserie or ice cream... the family room was big enough to accommodate all 4 of us, with fairly comfortable beds, however, we would have liked an option to have more pillows. The staff was exceptionally helpful and kind.

It would be great to have some extension cables as the room for 4 people lacked sockets to charge phones, etc. It would be nice to have cheap disposable slippers and more hangers, as the storage for clothes was really minimal.

Regarding the price range of the hotel - compared to other hotels in the city centre (either in Florence or other touristy cities in Italy such as Rome Milan Naples Bologna…) it exceeded the expectations. The room and bathroom was clean and renovated and had a powerful air conditioning. The check in and check out was quick and easy. Also upon the arrival lady at the reception gives you a map and explains everything about what you want to visit (knows English well). The area surrounding the hotel is safe and has several restaurants and grocery store nearby.

The hotel is very well positioned, at walking distances from every sightseeing point. The room was bigger than we imagined, but I think is due to the fact that it was a triple room and we were 2. The staff was welcoming and ready to aswer our questions.

The pillows were very hard. Also, it would be an improvement if, in the future, at least a coffee corner could be organised. The hotel does not provide neither breakfast, nor coffee, but there is a restaurant nearby that opens at 7AM, serving coffee and all types of breakfast.
