The location of the Hotel wasnt in the best part of the town....

A really lovely and luxurious stay. A grand looking hotel located very near the train station. The area immediately around looks a little run down but the once you enter the hotel, it’s large , bright and very clean. Staff were professional, courteous and hardworking. We have a problem with a bathroom leaking on the last night and overall, we were very pleased with the way for the staff handled the situation given how late in the Night it was and the limited options that were available During a busy Easter period. Breakfast staff were consistently efficient and courteous in on the very busy mornings we were there. Small touches were also nice: bathrobe and slippers; they left Easter chocolates and cake , and colouring for the kids. There was fruit that came with the room. Lovely toiletries, ample towels available. Overall very clean as well, with the room being made up every day. There was a launderette right next door which was pretty straightforward to use.

The single sofa bed wasn’t as comfortable according to my son but not a deal breaker.

There were shady people outside. On Saturday morning at 4AM, there was some huge commotion going on.

the location was a little sketchy for a single woman, but it was close to a lot of good places. the dinner wasn’t great.

Stuff from reception and Nicolas from bar made our vacation very pleasant and we are so thankful to them. We’ve never met our maid but she cleaned room perfectly and that was really important for us. Renewed part around reception looks very beautiful. Breakfast was good but same every day. American pancakes were one of the best that I’ve tried ever.

We’ve chosen standard room and I am aware that is not superior but still facilities are pretty old. The first one we’ve gotten was smaller than 21 square meters but then we complained and got little bigger, yet I am not sure that is 21 but it was okay.

Single room was well appointed, with twin bed, desk, closet, TV, kettle and tea. While small, the room did not feel cramped. Bathroom was large enough for comfortable use. Included breakfast buffet was good (less extensive than some of the other European hotels I have stayed in recently, but bountiful compared to most US hotel breakfast buffets). Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, with staff fluent in several languages including English. The lobby was well decorated and very comfortable for waiting/relaxing. The location of the hotel is central to the old town, just a block from the river.

My bed was not the most comfortable I've had but I still slept well.

Good breakfast! Clean room and very cozy bed! Good location to visit main point on foot!

Nothing to complain about! Just because it is a large hotel, organize more time for check-in and checkout. 😉

The hotel was located a short walk from the Santa Maria Novella train station which was very convenient for us as we arrived by train from Rome. The rooms, though smaller than expected, were beautifully decorated. The shower was over a jacuzzi, though we didn't avail ourselves of the jacuzzi. Breakfast was adequate but not particularly exciting. Front desk staff were OK but the housekeeping and breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. The Duomo is within walking distance too, and that area has lots of shops!

Walking distance from train station even with large luggage. Within walking distance to most Florence attractions as well. Nice, cozy hotel. Great value for the price. Has several elevators. Friendly staff. Staff able to hail a taxi at front desk. Would likely stay here again.

An older hotel that could use some updating. There is a laundromat next door which sometimes had questionable people hanging outside at night. Our room was very quiet though. Had to sleep with windows open here because the city wouldn’t allow the air conditioner to be turned on.

Staff, location, breakfast, room and general areas throughout the hotels. Great decoration as well.

The bathroom needs updating. The shower design allows water to easily fall on the bathroom floor. You have to run the water on low and point the shower to the water and try stay in the corner to rinse off otherwise you will have water on the floor. A classic shower curtain would have solved the issue.
