Convenient location but difficult access. Room was clean and had balcony, shower with good water pressure and they kept our bags securely after check out so we could walk around town.

Room was small and one daughter indicated bunk bed was uncomfortable. Air conditioning limited cooling settings. At our check in, electronic room key system inoperable throughout hotel, so after 13 hour flight and 3 hour drive, we had to wait 30-40 min before getting into our room at 8 pm. Parking is in underground deck across street from hotel and bags had to be taken from underground garage across street.

It is a Best Western, so you know what you get. Location was very convenient, since you are in the historic downtown, very close to the port. Room was on a small size for 4 people, but this is Italy, and usually rooms are not that big. Room had a very charming marble balcony. Breakfast was good enough, and staff was nice and helpful.

The location was number one. It was a 3minute walk to the seaside, yet located right within walking distance to all the main attractions and plenty of food options. The room was clean, the staff were great, and there was enough space to move around.

If I had to say anything, it's a little far to walk to the main station (about 25mins) but, you can take a taxi or take your time to walk.

Location was perfect, although hard to find the first time. Parking was conveniently located.

We liked everything. Size of the room for our family (5 people) was great. The only disappointment was when we asked if the hotel had ice and the front desk lady said “NO” (rudely! I mean, we were asking for ice which probably the hotel had for sure). Had to go across the street to ask at a restaurant.

A handy location close to the port and an easy walk plenty of Genoa’s sites, like the Galata maritime museum, palazzi on Via Garibaldi and the main shopping strip on Via Xx Settembre. The room was clean and spacious. Mini bar, kettle, tea & coffee. The bed and pillows were comfy. Breakfast was pretty good. A few cereals, scrambled eggs and bacon, cold meats and cheese and of course, proper Italian breakfast of cornetti, tarts, and other dulce. The cornetti were fabulous.

Really, everything was great. The coffee at breakfast, in the pot at the buffet was ordinary but the staff were happy to make an espresso or cappuccino if you asked. These were okay, but I’ll admit to bring a Melbourne coffee snob

Very clean, great location and walking distance to the train station. Room was small but we were comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and there were a variety of things to choose from. Dining staff were nice and friendly.

Reception staff answered questions when we asked but they didn't volunteer information i.e where the breakfast room was.

The hotel met all our expectations for one night stay. We had two rooms facing narrow inner street and it was quiet, we were able to sleep by open window. Hotel is close to the port and aquarium and old town. Rooms comfortable. We had to leave early for train and they offered to prepare takeaway breakfast boxes which was a nice surprise and very handy.

The location was a stonethrow to the harbour.

Lift was quite small. And windows could open completely- only secured with a metal bar. If you’re one to open your window often and not use the A/C then maybe I wouldn’t recommend for families with small children. It was quite loud at night when the restaurants down below moved their tables and chairs in at two am.

Very central...friendly staff and the room was clean and comfortable. I found the breakfast very satisfying

When paying I was told I hadn't paid. I knew I did. They finally sorted it. Not a bad complaint. Just a little embarrassing at the time.

the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was nice, the staff were very helpful and they also called a taxi for me when in was leaving.

there was a small puddle of water near the window not sure how it was caused by but i cleaned it up anyway.
