Tucked away in street near to the town centre this hotel exceeded our expectations. We needed to let the owner know when check-in would be (which was fine) as there is not a permanently manned reception. We found the hotel easily - the directions we got were very good. Check in was friendly and helpful. Our room was well equiped and the bathroom in particular was very good. The hotel was excellent value for what we paid.

Tea / coffee making facilities in the room would have been nice - but most places we stayed (and we were travelling for two weeks across Europe) did not provide this, so it may not be normal to do so in France, Italy or Switzerland.

The room was clean, spacious, comfortable and well furnished. Very good rooms! The location is also good - near to the lake. Walking distance to train station and to the ferry terminal as well. Very good balance price-quality!

The only serious problem was that some of the staff doеs not speak English, which is quite annoying and sometimes a nightmare if you need help quickly for something specific! And skip the breakfast. It is not good at all! The internet was intermittent at several times, but for a short time was recovered.

Spotlessly clean, comfortable rooms with lift access.. Excellent bathroom and shower (one of the best of our 6-week stay). Very good price for Lecco if needing multiple rooms. Pleasant al fresco breakfast area. Lecco itself is absolutely stunning - there are panoramic views on all sides

Our lack of Italian made communication a little awkward, but we got through it.. Breakfast was a bit light on, and we could't serve ouselves, compared to other places we stayed in Italy. The hotel doesn't offer prepayment - which would simplify checking in.

Very good location, spacious room (I think it has been updated recently, as the bathroom and lights looked pretty new). The bed was comfy and quiet. The neighbourhood was also quiet and safe. The building has a new elevator. Tip. The entrance is actually from: Via S. Francesco D'Assisi (one street before !!). Google shows it wrong. I guess they could have raised it Google.

Breakfast, it's cheap, but the quality is really bad.

I met one half of the Architect couple and they were very friendly at check in (and on my departure day) and accompanied me to show me my bedroom. The bedroom I was given on the top floor (3rd floor - a lift is available but small!) was extremely spacious and this extended to a generously sized bathroom and outside balcony. The pictures on booking.com exactly represented what I got in the bedroom. The breakfast was self-service and was very substantial compared to similar B&Bs in Italy. I enjoyed sitting eating my breakfast food in a see-through tent that has been specially built on an outside first floor patio area. The lady looking after the breakfast was also very friendly. A water dispenser is available at all hours as you can you use your bedroom card to access the breakfast room. It was clean in all areas.

The walk-in shower is great for disabled persons but there is no shower curtain where you walk in. The water falling onto the shower tray sprays slightly onto the bathroom floor. On my second night a couple of guests arrived late in one of the bedrooms near to mine. They didn't respect the late hour and kept talking loudly so I could not drop off to sleep for quite a while but this isn't something to blame the hosts for.

the hairdryer switched off every 20 seconds - not sure if it was programmed that way, but it sure was annoying in the mornings had to log in to the wifi every 2 hours

The location was perfect, and the bathroom was really clean and nice.

The host doesn’t speak a word of English which makes the communication difficult. Breakfast was poor and there is no free (or any) parking option nearby.

I made a mistake in reservation and accidentally booked room for only myself even though my friend was with me. But the staff was very understanding and we solved the issue quickly and they prepared room for a second person too. The room and the bathroom were really nice. As for the breakfast, I'm gluten intolerant but I didn't inform them in advance but the staff found out anyway and she gave me gluten free biscuits to eat with my yogurt, which I appreciated very much. Also, Lecco is a beautiful city. Me and my friend really enjoyed our stay.

Very spacious, good host, comfortable and nearby the lake at lecco. Appreciate the bidet in the toilet. Good AC. Decent price considering the other towns in Lake Como. Very well priced restaurants around.

The location is far from the railway station, a little difficult if you have heavy luggage on cobblestones. The room can not be sufficiently lit, there are not enough lights.

Very clean and large room! Ok with some breakfast, but please know that it's not healthy/satiating, but it's a traditional tourist breakfast consisting of sweet things, white bread etc.

There's nothing I didn't like, so these are just something to notice/be aware of: - The breakfast as mentioned. Not something that I wouldn't normally eat, and especially not before hiking. - Beds are soft. - Bring your own shampoo, body wash etc. There is only hand soap.
