Such a beautiful hotel. We stayed for a week and loved every minute. We did a full road trip of the lake one day, stopping off at all the little villages and concluded that we were staying the best location of all! Weather wasn’t great for us, but we made full use of the lovely spa and spent a few hours in the glass dome reading and watching the ever changing mountain view. Evenings by the fire with a game of scrabble was so relaxing. Room was spotless and made up beautifully every day. Breakfast was AMAZING. Delicious and plentiful. We had a spa treatment which was also glorious. Staff were wonderfully helpful and friendly. Really couldn’t fault the place.

The drive up the mountain was a little scary - but we managed in wet weather even as first time European drivers and it was totally worth it for the views. Once we had done it once it was fine so don’t be put off by other reviews!!

The location was amazing - the views over the lake were stunning. The staff could not have been more friendly. The facilities were an added bonus - especially the outside jacuzzi.

Our week long stay at Hotel Querceto was fantastic. The location is amazing. Away from the town, offering stunning views of Lake Garda and the mountains, and sitting at the centre of the hamlet of Campiano. There is a free shuttle bus each day down to Malcesine at 10:00, and back at 17:30, or you can get a taxi (25euros). There is also the “funivia”/cable car which has a stop about 20 minutes walk from the hotel; though be warned, the road is steep. The hotel facilities were excellent, as was the care, attention and friendliness of all the staff. Breakfasts were sumptuous and we enjoyed making our own fresh juices from the fruit and veg provided. Evening meals too are very good, but if you do fancy a change and something more ‘rustica e autentica’ there is a wonderful Trattoria very close serving local rabbit and homemade pasta. The spa facilities are excellent. You can book private sessions at either the indoor or outdoor spa for up to an hour each day, so you can really pamper yourself. The indoor spa is well-equipped with steam room, 2 x saunas, big whirlpool etc, and the outdoor one has sauna and whirlpool - both with the most incredible views. Emmi - the masseur - is a miracle worker. Her intuitive touch and gentle presence made for wonderful massages. I had a lymphatic drainage one which has been really helpful and she fixed my partner’s shoulder tension, he said he hadn’t felt so comfortable in months; highly recommended! All in all a magical stay in a magical location - grazie mille!

There was absolutely nothing not to like! The experience was absolutely excellent. Just to note that the wifi was very slow in the evenings.

I cannot put into words how amazing this Hotel is, but I will try. I was here for my 50th birthday and the lead up to the visit was well planned using WhatsApp to communicate. The General Manager Luca talked to us throughout the stay and made sure everything was nice for us, little touches like bringing us croquettes and nibbles if we weren’t eating in the restaurant and a gift when we left, he runs a tight ship and it shows as everything runs like clockwork, the ladies on reception (Valentina and Judit) were helpful with letting us know about booking spa treatments, or busses, or taxis and always made us feel welcome. The room was exceptional and new in design, we had a Mountain view which was lovely as there was snow on the top of Mount Baldo, and the housekeeping ladies kept the room clean every day. I would recommend using the spa, as we had two hours a day included and made use of the indoor and outdoor facilities, again clean and easy to use. Now the restaurant and bar - La Stüa, Alessandro and his team cook the most amazing food with real attention to detail, from breakfast to evening meal everything tastes and looks like a 5 star venue. We had a meal in the restaurant one evening and then also opted, on my birthday, for the "Finest Dining Experience", where we were served by the lovely (Always Smiling Alessandro Waiter) a three-course meal which was have been talking about for days and days after, truly exceptional and a lifetime experience. The other waitresses Bedtrice & Marina deserve and mention as they make every meal a relaxing experience and know how to look after you. Finally, Bojan the barman, brought us complimentary drinks and kept us filled up all week, was always chatty and made us feel at home. If you want relaxation and a place to stay anywhere in Malcesine then do NOT book anywhere else but this Hotel, I cannot thank Luca and the team enough and am already looking when to book again. Pool with the view is stunning! The sauna and jacuzzy in outdoor spa are great, especially during some colder times, I think. Rooms are also nice. Service staff was lovely, although there were some who did not understand English nor tried to (night shift).

Getting to the city is quite expensive - 25€ with taxi and by foot rather steep mountain walk (the walk is lovely though with right shoes!) During the breakfast, the tables could be cleaned regularly from dirty dishes. This did not happen at all, even when bringing new coffee.

Hotel Querceto is a great hotel with views that are amazing,even in the restaurant where you are also served breakfast.We couldn't fault the food in the restaurant and the breakfast was like a feast!. The garden and pool area were very well presented and the cleanliness of our room was spot on! The staff were all very friendly who spoke good English especially the receptionist Valentina who was very pleasant and helpful in every way.We were in room 304 that had a good view of the mountains and the lake.The free bus down to malcesine is a good gesture as it can cost about €20 in a taxi down to malcesine.We did walk down a few times ,approx 45mins on the road to the right or approx 30 mins down an old mule track to the left that is a bit challenging.Overall we had an amazing stay as it was our first time in Italy,and what a beautiful country it is!. Thanks to all of the staff at hotel Querceto for making our stay so special. xx

Everything was just so magical , like in a fairy tale - and I am telling the truth The spa/ wellness even inside or outside was beyond imagination, well prepared beautiful and quiet. All members of the staff was helpful and super kind , we felt like being at home with our relatives and friends. The view from this hotel is absolutely gorgeous and breathtaking … Dinner or breakfast with the view of the Lake Garda well below your feet … amazing . The garden , the outdoor sauna and jacuzzi was just like in the movies . This hotel is beyond everything We have been to several haut-niveau hotels but this beats them all…🥰
