Everything was perfect, our hosts were so friendly and welcoming, we felt at home. They took care of everything and the accommodation was great. We had everything we need and more! The must was the awesome breakfast of course. The villa is so beautiful, the swimming pool clean and the garden is a plus ! The location is also perfect: in Lierna you have a beautiful beach (8min by walk) with a magnificent view of the mountain. The train station is nearby the villa but it’s not so noisy. There is also a bakery, supermarket and ice cream shops in Lierna. Varenna is 10 minutes away. I would highly recommend villa Laura to everyone who needs a break to paradise !

The host family was very nice and friendly. We enjoyed staying in our own little house, what I didn't realise before the booking so it came in as a nice surprise. We could stay seperate from the rest of the guests. As we were there at the very beginning of the season, the pool was quite cold, however we enjoyed swimming in the hot day. The breakfast was excellent with a variety of food. There are places around, where to eat as well. The biggest advantage is the close distance to the train station and the port. It's easy to get around to other towns of lake Como. We made a mistake in staying only 2 days, it would have been perfect to extend it to all our stay in Italy.

Villa Laura is truly a magical place. If you really care about small details and a cozy warm environment - then this is a place for you! It is owned by the most caring and loving family and they truly go all the way to make you feel most welcomed and comfortable during your stay. Breakfast is excellent with great Cappuccino and fresh fruits every morning. Lierna overall is a really cute small village and Villa Laura is very close to lake Como. Definitely looking forward to visiting this fairy tale of a place again :)

I can honestly say that this is the best b&b we've ever stayed at. Vila Laura is pure magic. The house is beautiful, with a lovely pool and beautiful garden. We stayed in the separate building, which was so spacious and equipped with everything you could need. We appreciated the facilities to cook some meals, and the air-conditioning was great for the nights. The absolute best about Vila Laura is the breakfast, with lots of tasty pastries and fresh fruit, and coffee to die for. Thanks again to the whole family for all your care! We hope to visit again.

The hosts were extremely nice, and they put together the most amazing breakfast for us every morning. The apartmant itself was very well equipped and comfortable and the garden was very pretty as well. I can only recommend this place. :)

The apartment is very close to the train station, which is a big advantage when you have to go somewhere, but the sound of the passing trains was a bit disturbing for me in the first 1-2 mornings.

Family run bed & breakfast with a real Italian feel. The family welcome was so sweet and mDe us feel very welcome. The breakfast in the garden was amazing and the highlight pastries, freshest fruit, ham, cheese, and more. No need for lunch!! The location is great for the train station and a short walk to the local beach on the lake. Really glad we stayed in Lierna and not in Varenna, as only a quick train ride away. A few wonderful restaurants nearby and a supermarket to buy food to prepare yourself in the kitchenette, if you don't want to eat out. The pool was lovely too, with mountain views. Would highly recommend. Thanks to the family for making our Lake Como stay memorable.

The location is right by the train station, so you do hear the rumble of trains but it didn't bother us. We were travelling by train so was important to be near station.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Laura. The apartment was fantastic and had everything we needed, and has air conditioning. The hosts were so kind, and the breakfasts were beautiful. There were even homemade croissants. The location is excellent, with a well stocked food store and a laundromat very close by and the trains/ferries are so convenient for exploring. Highly recommend!

The hospitality of the owners was exceptional! The breakfast was delicious every morning, especially the homemade eggs and croissants. The spacious bedrooms. The Prosecco by the pool after a day out. The location to the train station for when we wanted to explore. Lierna itself was so beautiful and quiet too.

Only there was some noise from the train and it would be nice to have black out curtains. Also I didn’t realize the trains don’t run very often at night.

Villa Laura is so much more than a place to stay, you are welcomed by the sweetest family, they do everything to make you feel hospitality at the highest level. you are a guest, however also welcomed as almost a part of the family. We have never before experienced such a great combination between including guests in such as warm and fantastic way. We will recommend this to everyone who wants to get a fabulous experience like this. And we will return.
