We enjoyed our stay overall here. The hotel is quite traditional as far as decor and there is a comfortable lobby where you can sit. Early check-in was not available as many current guests had late check-outs, so we did have to wait a bit, after an early arrival in Milan. You can store your luggage and go exploring, which was nice. There is an elevator/lift in the building. The room was very clean and quite large by European standards, with daily housekeeping service. The bathroom was huge with all of the amenities you would need, including bath slippers. It was a bit warm and humid in the bathroom as there was no air conditioning in there, but the main room itself was cool. Breakfast was plentiful, and the staff were friendly and attentive. There is room service available from the hotel restaurant, which was quite good. The location to Central Station can't be beat- only a 5 mins walk, which will get you anywhere you want to go in Milan via metro. There is also a Carrefour Express grocery store, 5 mins walk away. This is a safe and comfortable choice for a stay in Milan, close to public transportation and away from the bustling touristy areas.

for a 4 stars hotel the breakfast was so so..there was no fresh bread we look for a scramble eggs but....

The hotel is close to station and main shopping streets and restaurants a few blocks away . The restaurant was excellent and service good .

There were no glasses in the fridge . Paper cups are not of the standard of a 4 star hotel . There wasn’t no information regarding television usage and local places of interest nor a guest folder .

Location perfect for our short stay to connect to the train then airport . So close we just walked with our suit cases . Breakfast was great but dinner the night before was a complete highlight . No intention to eat at the hotel restaurant , but we wanted to see the room and it’s balcony view of the street . Fun changing colour light ceiling too . After looking at the menu we decided to stay . However the real bonus was our single waiter . Doing everything . Charming , warm , welcoming and would do anything to make you feel at home . Gave all the guests seated complimentary shot of champagne to say cheers . Wasn’t a full house . Just as well as it was only him front of house . The food was lovely and we left feeling like we were spoilt . I’d return in a flash just to be served by this charming happy man .not sure if they have different staff in different shifts but we had him on a Monday night . Bravoxx

The location of the hotel is within walking distance from the Milan central train station. Although the building of the hotel is quite old it is well maintained. The room was very spacious and super clean. The bed was very comfy and had a minibar. The bathroom was royal and cozy.

The staff at the reception were rude and unfriendly. Especially the old gentlemen with glasses. They had I don't care attitude towards guests. They never acknowledged the guests unless the guest spoke out to them loudly. It happened to us and we also observed it happening to other guests. The staff at the reception really need to change their rude attitude towards guests. Otherwise, a great hotel like Andreola will lose its valuable guests.

Breakfasts were very good . You have a good varieties of breads, pastries, cereals, juices, marmelades, butter , yogurts, cold meats , cheese and also omettes and sausages. very good teas and coffees. the personnel very attentive and helpful.

It is a very nice buildings, but to maintain it could be very expensive. The bathrooms need attention with hair dryers (they are old and not strong enough), we had a toilet problem in the early morning that required to be solved fortunately, but a small leak continued. The shower doors did not close properly so water was coming out. The first room we stayed it was fine but the second one, it was very cold even in the bathroom.

We could keep the luggage before and after check in and check out and that was really helpful. Breakfast was very good. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

We could hear a dog barking from another room early in the morning. Someone was knoking at the door at 8 in the morning and also at 10 in the evening but for this I think it was another guest that insisted knoking at the door and was pretty annoying cause we were tired and just felt asleep by that time. Rooms are dark, pretty old (not vintage as the hotel looks but old), please change the hair dryers they are so old and not functioning properly. The 3rd bed in the room was too small, short and I am only 1.60 m. They should keep the overall vintage look but the rooms need a modern refresh.

The breakfast was really nice, with lots of different options to choose from. Our room was cleaned daily and the towels were changed regularly. The bath in the bathroom was very nice. The bed was extremely comfortable and we got very good sleep. Overall a very good hotel for your Italian holiday!

Some of the people from the hotel didn't speak much English and it was difficult to communicate. We managed to get the information we needed though, they were helpful. Also - be careful around the train station area. There seemed to be many sketchy people there.

We stayed only one night, but everything was excellent, starting with the room looking out on a splendid inner garden, and moving on to the breakfast which was served in elegant (customised) dishes, the spacious bathroom, the comfortable bed, and, last but not least, the friendly and helpful hotel staff. I wish I could have extended our stay there, but we were on our way to Genova and Cinque Terre. I definitely recommend this hotel. It is located almost next to the main railway station in Milan and only 4 underground stations away from the historic centre.

Excellent location to Central train station on a very quiet block. Rooms are average size, ours was a triple for a family of a 3 so a bit tight but fine for our needs. Breakfast was included & really nice- eggs/fruit/pasteries/cheese/meat/juices/coffee, etc. Staff was helpful & Mini fridge in room was great for waters/drinks since it was super hot during our mid-August stay.

Rooms are in need of some TLC- some wall electrical unit covers were falling off & the tub drains were very clogged & leaked when we showered (all minor stuff) but I like the old charm this hotel has. Rooms have AC but some rooms felt cooler than others (we stayed again in same hotel at the end of our trip & first room we stayed in definitely had stronger AC, even though we adjusted the thermostat.)
