The hotel is a piece of art! Beautiful design! Location is perfect!

I expected that employees of the hotel will be more friendly and that they will make guests feel comfortable. But they were not so nice except one very kind man who works at the reception and one very kind lady from house keeping. That was the only thing that makes us not so comfortable to ask for something. And I think it’s very important when you come to this kind of hotel that employees treat you right.

The location of this hotel is simply the best in Milan. Nice and artsy design of the hotel. Excellent linens (Frette). A very good breakfast.

The Wi-Fi connection was the worst I've seen in years. It's slow and gets disconnected every now and then.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Galleria Vik Milano hotel, and I must say it was the best hotel I have ever experienced. The room I stayed in was absolutely luxurious, exceeding all my expectations. The attention to detail and the exquisite design made it a dream come true. Additionally, the food served at the hotel was exceptional. Every meal was a culinary delight, with a wide range of delicious options to choose from. Overall, my stay at Galleria Vik Milano was an unforgettable experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a truly exceptional hotel experience.

The only downside of the room was the lack of sufficient outlets, which were inconveniently placed.

The breakfast was very good - the buffet a little tiny, but still OK. The place is very nice and with very interesting art-decoration! Great! A lovely, romantic place to be. The location is just perfect to visit Milano! And although in the center, the noise isolation with the windows is very good, no noise in the room at all. And a very hearty welcome with very nice staff and lots of attention! The hotel is in an older, traditional building. So for someone that likes the retro-style, this is perfect!

The temperature in the room was a little to high. And there was no indication of how to handle the air-conditioning or how to handle the temperature. But it wasn't that bad so we didn't bother the hotel staff to explain it to us.

for a 5 stars hotel i was expecting to see a better furniture in the room + my room didn't have a tv ( it was room 324 )

Daughter of owner was on site focused on learning the hotel's business and making improvements. She was fantastic. She explained that like a gallery, the Galleria has different styles of art on each floor. While we enjoyed our floor's art the most, the top floor contained art from her childhood home in the states. The first floor restaurant and bar is not to be missed as the staff remember your names and preferences. The Park Hyatt hotel is a competitive neighbor to the Galleria Vik but there's no comparison between them. The Park Hyatt is a formula-driven luxury brand hotel with a less desirable location in the Galleria and room rates that are 2-3x higher than the Galleria VIk. The Galleria Vik is family run but at standards that far exceed the Park Hyatt. Our first room, booked for our initial four day stay, was 207 and it had a stunning, prime view of the Galleria looking out to all three wings of the gallery. The room's ceilings were about 18-20 feet high, the bathroom and bedrooms exceeding that of the size of a full suite in a luxury hotel. We had plenty of space. A full bathtub made for a NBA player's size was featured in the bathroom along with a separate shower made for two and toilet/bidet. Two sinks made getting ready in the morning a breeze and the full cooked-to-order AND buffet breakfast were cherries on top. We loved the hotel so much that even when they could not extend a stay in room 207, we moved down the hall to a duplex suite 216 at a comparable rate. While not as well located as 207, this room featured double-height ceilings, a view out to one wing of the Galleria and a beautiful staircase leading to an upstairs loft king bed. The AC in both units was superb! And free mini-bar items were a treat. We also loved the six-digit code to get into the room in lieu of a room key or card.

This is picky -- in Room 207, when you close the shutters on the tall windows, there is a small gap in between the shutters and the August sun bleeds through just at the right angle to awake you across the face in the morning. If you like being awakened at 7:30 am, this would be a great feature. We preferred to sleep in and could not. Room 216 did not have this problem as the bed was literally upstairs and out of the sunbeam's path.

Very good breakfast with an excellent view of people watching in the gallery. Good service and nice food ! The hotel looks very beautiful, lots of art and all interiors are done very artisticly with a good taste. Nice fashion books in the room as well to be looked at before sleep. We had a great room with street view.

An additional chair could be placed in the room , but really this is a very minor thing. Otherwise, everything was really great.

Amazing location & view. It didn’t get better than that right at the centre of Milan. They upgraded our room to an even more amazing view right at the centre of the Galleria. The room was huge and we even got to check in early. Staff was really friendly and check in was super fast. Room had a code so you don’t have to worry about carrying a key. Art work is beautiful and breakfast is included.

Sound proofing rooms a little would be better for the noise from galleria at night.

Draperies didn’t shut out street lights.

SPECTACULAR hotel! A small, charming and extremely high end hotel right in the heart and centre of Milan. The location could not have been better. The balcony overlooking the entire Galleria was something very special. Furnished perfectly with big rooms, creative spaces and an artistic dream. It doesn't feel anything like a big chain hotel. Breakfast was gorgeous too.
