we'recently stayed at INTOMILAN Galleria hotel and had a wonderful experience. The innkeeper, Paula, was incredibly kind and hospitable. She made sure that our stay was comfortable and that we had everything we needed. The room was clean and well-appointed. The location of the hotel was also great, as it was within walking distance of the Duomo and many of the city's main attractions. I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Milan

There was a specific smell in the room that we didn’t like

The room was spacious even though it was a single room. The single bed had almost the size of a double. Staff is friendly and helpful. Location perfect.

Room was facing the inside of a gallery, so it was really dark during the day and bright in the evening, because of the gallery lighting. The curtains did not block the light coming from the gallery at night as they were not wide enough.

The location of this property is very convenient and the host was wonderful. The rooms were perfect for a stay of a few days and had everything I needed.

The only tip I would give future travelers is to ask if any building cleaning or renovations would be going on during your stay before booking. The window in room was boarded up and covered in a few sheets of plastic due to some outside cleaning activities which made it a little harder to stay in a room for three days with no windows or ability to see out. It was not the property managers fault but just something to ask before your stay if possible.

Excellent central location. Friendly staff. Amazing water pressure in the shower. Nice welcome snacks and water and coffee station (even though I do not drink coffee). Comfortable bed. Nice big in-room safe (fit my laptop).

The door is paper thin. If there was anyone talking at the reception desk, it sounded like they were in my room. I was also next to the closet where guests luggage was stored/cleaning supplies so that being opened frequently was also noisy.

We found our room to be nicely decorated, the bed, comfortable and it was spotlessly clean. The location of the property is so central, literally 300 - 400 meters from the Duomo, the Galleria shopping centre, La Scala di Milan, the train station. There are multiple shops around as well as multiple cafes and restaurants, which meant we were always spoilt for choice in terms of food and shopping. But the best thing about the properly were the Staff. Sussanah and Mattaar (I hope this is the correct spelling) were mmabsolutely wonderful, nothing was too much trouble for them. They even offered us to help get us tickets to Leonardo’s “Last Supper as they need for book quite in advance”, they helped with our luggage … This will be our go in Milan hotel from now on! Thank you so much Sussanah and Mataar for making our stay so pleasant! We so appreciate it!

The location is the best, super convenient.

As the hotel is located at the pedestrian only area, no taxi can get close to the hotel. So I need to drag my luggage to the nearby taxi rank to go to the coach for the airport on my last day in Milan. Be aware of this problem. Also on my arrival in Milan, I had difficulty to find this hotel at this very busy area; after the taxi dropped me (as the taxi can’t go to the hotel) at the entrance of the pedestrian only area, I had to phone the hotel as I couldn’t find it. The reception lady came out to find me at the middle of the street and helped me to the hotel. It was very kind of her. I am very thankful.

excellent location, right in the centre. The beds were incredibly comfy , the room was really nicely designed and the shower had really good water pressure. The host who met us when we arrived Paola (I think) was very welcoming. I would definitely stay here again, it was excellent value for money.

the room we were in was a bit dark as the light was blocked from other buildings and they were doing some building work outside so saw a few worked men walk outside through the window. When you first walk in after being out there is a bit of a weird smell, like stagnant water but it dies off after you get use to it. The worst part about this property is the lift, I don’t know if this is an Italian thing but it seemed quite unsafe, it’s very very small and tight fitting and numerous times we got the lift the door would then not open so we would have to go back up and then walk down and honestly felt a bit uncomfortable in it. However for short stays and the quality and price of the apartment these are very minor issues and did not impact the stay.

I can’t judge what the usual room would be like. I think it was small with a single bed. But because they had an apartment open and there was construction near the hotel, and I was only one night, she very kindly gave me the apartment and walked me to it. It was beautiful and I wish I could have stayed a week! It is very fancy location, right next to Duomo and high end shops, which I would not have expected the be affordable. I hadn’t known Milan until I was there the week prior, for business and staying elsewhere, then was so surprised my room was in that area! Paola wqs wonderful and even arrange my taxi the next morning.

Location was perfect, very central to the cathedral and in a busy shopping area. The room was very clean and well equipped. Bathroom was particularly spacious. It had tea and coffee facilities, minibar/fridge, hairdryer. Safe as you need three codes to access the property. Robes and slippers provided. Effectively a hotel in that you have your room made up daily etc. Staff friendly and helpful. Noise was a comment on some reviews but there wasn’t anything substantial that bothered us. You are on a busy street so there will be some noise in the morning like street cleaners but in the evenings when the shops closed it was fine.

There were no real issues. The only comment is that the lifts can be tricky because people don’t close the doors properly so they won’t always come when called.

This apartment/hotel is perfect. It is centrally located among all of the shops and a short walk to the Duomo. It has accessible metro stations and made seeing the sites easy. Paola was an incredible host. She greeted us warmly and was ready with suggestions for places to eat and things to do. She went above and beyond, making reservations for us to visit the Duomo and for brunch at a nearby restaurant. The room was comfortable with all of the necessary amenities. We were able to use the internet to book tickets and make phone calls. We had a wonderful stay and are so appreciative of the staff for welcoming us so warmly.

The room is overlooking a main area so if you are a light sleeper or want to go to bed a bit earlier, this might be a challenge as there are often street performers playing until a bit later in the evening. This wasn't a problem for us as we were out enjoying the city but alas, it may not be ideal if you need complete quiet.
