There was no breakfast,that's the downside,but the hotel was very close to everything,5min from the duomo,8min from LA scala 2 min from all the milan shopping fashion,the staff were extremely friendly and helpful,there was no kettle in my room ,so I asked the staff if I could use there's and they said yes,so every night I took it had a cup of tea and coffee in the morning, there is a huge supermarket 10min walking si I bought veges ,yogurts to take with me on tours, luckily there was a refrigerator in the room which is really good

Excellent location in the heart of Milan, practically a stone's throw from the Duomo. Easy to get around by foot to all the main sights and attractions (the metro station is close by too). As a solo female traveller I felt safe going back in the evenings. The room is cleaned every day.

It was a little hard to figure out how to lock my door - I could not use the deadbolt as it was misaligned. Instead, the door is considered locked when it latches, because from the outside there is no way to release the latch other than with the key. Although I was slightly disconcerted at first, this was a minor issue and the hotel was safe. There is 24-hour reception. The decor looks a little aged but is expected at this price.

It’s a fantastic (albeit basic) hotel in a fantastic location. If you are happy to have a hotel which is just a room with some nice basics like hair dryer and toiletries, then this hotel is great. The staff are truly so helpful. Saw this in other reviews and it holds true. Lots of restaurants nearby to get breakfast, lunch and dinner.

While the hotel were super helpful, as someone with very limited mobility and who uses a mobility scooter, the lack of an elevator made it a little challenging, but it’s an old building, so not surprising. But there is a storage cupboard by reception which can be used of you have mobility equipment you don’t want to take upstairs.

Location is the best of this hotel, right behind Duomo and between Duomo and San Babila metro stops.There's this fine dining restaurant next door and plenty of other options in via Vittorio Emanuele. As other user said it's best option if you ain't spending a lot of time in the hotel. The ceiling and windows are high so you can open your windows and get fresh air. Also the boy at front desk is cute~

Even though they refurbished the bathrooms and all still needs a bit more of thorough cleaning. Rooms are small and minimalistic, although honestly couldn't fit more stuff even if they wanted to. Still has the basic amenities. No elevator but only has 2 floors. Keys are metal. Trash trucks noise because it's facing a small square but just for few minutes.

Great location and good value for the money. Lovely view of a mostly quiet courtyard which is unbelievable given that you are just two blocks behind the Duomo (one night there was some noise from the business opposite called "Space Dreamers" but it didn't go on too late).

The water stopper in the shower was not able to stay in place which was annoying.

Great location, just in the central part of Milano. Walking distance to Duomo, and between two metro stations. Room is simple but sufficient. Nice view from the room to the square. Hot water in the shower.

As many properties in Italy there was no lift so if you have a heavy luggage you will struggle. Also the pillows are not too comfortable, pretty hard to be honest.

The location is amazing! Just behind the Duomo and so close to trams, trains, restaurants and all types of shops. It was quite hot when we were in Milan and the air-conditioned room provided great relief during the hottest part of the day and we slept very comfortably at night.

The step from the bathroom down into the room was a bit of a hazard - after showering, the tiled floor became very slippery and my husband slid and fell down the step!

- no wifi - no insect screen - a bit noisy but this is not a problem if you're tired after walking all day :)

Extremely friendly host, large room with a/c, BEAUTIFUL bathroom with soaking tub/shower arrangement and bubble bath. Included is an elaborate coffee station, some snacks and water, a mini-fridge and....a bottle of sparkling wine! (The host said that was because I was staying 3 nights.). Oh, did I mention? There's an ELEVATOR! And terrific location. And lots of maps and restaurant recommendations. .

It was listed as a partial view of the lake, which is misleading. You have to open the window and stick your head out to see the lake. If you just want to make sure it's still there everyday, it will work for you. But it adds no ambience to the room; there's no view in the usual sense of the word and I think they should remove that from the listing. That being said, it's a perfect location, right in theiffle of everything. I guess you can't have everything,!

Good value for money. Excellent location, nearby the Duomo and the bus station to the Linate airport. I stayed in the largest room of the first floor, at the end of the hallway and it was spacious and charming. The bathroom was clean and modern.

The only negative issue I experienced is that it was a little bit noisy outside the hotel at night, but for me it was not a real problem since I slept with my earplugs.
