The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The rooms were comfortable and the facilities (pool) fantastic, not too busy. The hotel had more than enough space for us to lounge. Very comfortable seating areas. The decor was tastefully done to a high spec with wonderful artwork on the walls. Breakfast was great, lots of choice.

The lighting in the rooms was quite harsh and the side lights were not working. We couldn't get the TV to work but didn't report it since it was all Italian. I am sure it would have been resolved had we asked. It would have been nice to have more natural light.

Everything. Highlights included sitting on the beautiful terrace or by the pool after a busy day, with the very attentive Thomaso bringing us drinks and snacks. Staff were very helpful, breakfast was great and the room was small but fine for our stay - with good air-conditioning. The hotel was quiet while we were there, but I think would have no problem in catering for more guests. We met people who return each year and I’d definitely stay there again.

We stayed there 5 days and visited Toscany. The hotel is beatiful, located in a quite area but 2 minutes walk to the centar. Nice terrace in the ground, excellent breakfast and very nice interior, loved it. Helpfull and kind receptionist.

Wi fi was poor, no connection in the rooms at all. Also, there were groups of kids staying for 2 nights and making terrible noise, what was very unpleasent, though we got the support from receptionist to keep them quiet, at some point.. Such a nice hotel shouldnt allow groups of scholl kids mixing with other guests and dissrupting their holiday

It is a spacious clean and elegant hotel. The decor is classical which suits the architecture of the building. The staff are excellent without exception. Always helpful and chatty. The bar provides a good selection of drinks and snacks. We ate in the restaurant a few times and delicious meals. The menu is changed daily. The room was comfortable and spacious with a good bathroom although the shower was small it was adequate. The air con worked well even in 42C outside. We had a small balcony not big enough for table and chairs but great to stand and watch the world go by. Location is great for train station , shops, restaurants and bars. Next to the park and an easy walk to the Thermal Spa and the Funicular.

A superb hotel in Montecatini with beautiful gardens, outdoor terrace and pool. The rooms are a great size and fully equipped, including bathrobes and slippers! The beds are big and very comfortable. The breakfast has a great selection of sweet and savoury, hot and cold. It is advertised as 4*, but could easily be 5*. Breakfast on the terrace is just lovely! Also loved the grand piano in the bar area, and it was never problem to open it up and sit down and play for a while. Thank you! The hotel is about a 10 minute leisurely stroll down the hill to the town and main square and about a 10-15 minute walk from the funicular railway to Montecatini Alto. This is a MUST do and see. Beautiful restaurants in the village square and the views are nothing short of spectacular! The staff are very helpful when needed. A wonderful hotel for a romantic break, family holiday or just a getaway in this lovely spa resort. Would have absolutely NO hesitation in returning to this hotel.

It was the second time we stayed at the hotel and it was remarkable! The staff is very nice and helpful. We ate at the internal restaurant and the food was really good. After a long day of visiting the corners of the Italian renaissance, nothing is better than an amazing dinner on the terrace of the Grand Hotel Vittoria

One small things: the wi-fi was poor and kept disconnecting. We had to use the roaming since from our room the signal was very weak. Nothing major besides that

Great location. Rooms are very clean and cosy, staff is friendly. I see that some people are complaining about air conditioning but it was working more than fine. Breakfast was really good, enough of everything. Pool was really clean and size is quite enough. Hotel itsef is in Italian style but everything is pretty new. It was real pleasure to be a guest in this hotel. It is really good value for money.

Daniella, the receptionist we saw the most, had the VERY best suggestions on where to take our daily trips. We never would have known about Cinque Terre without her!

What a fabulous building - we thought we were in a Palace! Great facilities and very helpful and friendly Staff. Excellent buffet breakfast and no drama if you stayed a little longer than the time it was supposed to finish.

Drinks at bar were a little pricey.
