Awesome stay! Incredibly convenient to the bus/train station, Quattro Canti and the Ballaro street markets. Property was on a quiet street just a block off Via Maqueda. Absolutely wonderful hostess (Mariella) let us drop our bags early and welcomed us with an espresso (which I needed after a long bus ride from Siracusa). Our room was spotless and well appointed, beds were very comfortable, and breakfast the next day was amazing - so much to choose from and all homemade!

The larger Ballaro neighborhood felt a little rough around the edges, but the small street of Vicolo Chiarandà was incredibly clean and quiet, as was Vicolo del Romito (which our little balcony looked out over).

Ballarooms B&B is an exceptional choice for accommodation. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the rooms are spacious, providing a comforting stay. What truly sets this place apart is the warm and welcoming owner, Mariella. Her hospitality is outstanding, and she goes above and beyond and ensured us to have a memorable experience. She prepared a delicious and hearty breakfast for us, and even packed our breakfast for the next day, considering our long road trip. Let along, its central location in the heart of Palermo adds to its charm and convenience, making it an ideal choice for exploring the city. I’d highly recommend Ballarooms B&B for a wonderful stay.

Amazing and charming- cannot say anything else! It is unbelievable accomodation. The location is super central- couldn’t be more convenient- next to the bus station, center, market, local transport stations. The property itself super clean, pretty, comfortable! And the landlady-amazing woman! She is so sincere, helpful and friendly, explained us everything, she is also preparing breakfast from her own vegetables and fruit- oh dear, it is heaven! Her pies are amazing! This food will make you trip to Sicilia even more wonderful! I want to thank the hostess for this unforgetable stay. Deffinitely will come back and reccomend this place to enyone!

Location of the apartment is amazing, it is pretty much directly in the city centrum of Palermo. Very close to the central train and bus stations. All points of interest are also in a walk-by distance, which is great. Near-by is also a bus stop that can take you to the beach Mondello, although the bus and the beach gets crowded during the summer, especially during the weekend (so I would not recommend going there during the weekend without a reservation in one of lidos there). Breakfast was very tasty and there were many things to choose from. Mariella was an amazing host, very nice and talkative, helpful and supportive. I recommend staying there during your trip in Palermo :)

The B&B is very conveniently and yet quietly located near the Via Maqueda, in or near which there are numerous sights, markets and restaurants, all within walking distance. If, like us, you want to travel by public transport, you can easily reach the (bus) station on foot. The rooms are of a sufficient size and nicely furnished, we were completely satisfied. The absolute highlight of the accommodation, however, is the hostess Mariella, a very kind-hearted person who probably gives you the best breakfast in all of Sicily. For me, the B&B was the best accommodation I have ever stayed in Sicily. Once again a big thank you to Mariella for her hospitality, we will be very happy to come back.

This B&B is one of the best places I've stayed in. I was pleasantly surprised with how polite and helpful my host is. Usually all hosts are polite and helpful but Ballarooms host was on a completely other level. I usually sleep during the breakfasts and never get to eat the hotel breakfasts but the host of this b&b always left something aside for when I get up. The room was spotless very well decorated with a very big comfortable bed and a nice shower. It's just a walk away from every attraction.

The location is fantastic. You can walk out the door and in a few minutes you reach everything that is interesting to see. The host was very kind and shared interesting and useful information about the town and surrounding cultural things. She suggested wonderful restaurants which we loved. The beds were super comfortable, the pillows and blankets were great. The wifi worked great, everything was clean and beautiful. Even though it's in the very center with street noise all around, the sound proofing shutters worked great. The breakfast was absolutely divine. Our host shared about the delicious home-made treats, salty and sweet, home made jam selection and cold-pressed juice.

Very clean and nice B&B, the host, Mariella is such a welcoming and nice lady with a huge heart. She made everything to make me feel like home. The room was spotless clean, the bed and pillows very comfortable. Unfortunately i had to leave early and i didn’t eat breakfast, i’ve read that it’s delicious.

I didn’t feel very safe in the area. Take in consideration when you travel alone, especially if you are a solo female traveler, that at night it’s not very safe to go around the neighborhood and you should watch out.

I felt relaxed thanks to a very hospitable host. Breakfast was very good, fresh, tasty, variety of both fruit, salami and cheese and cakes . A lot of Sycilian specialities. Spacious and clean room. In February the heating was perfect and the windows protected us from any noise in the street. It is close to the main street so the old dark narrow streets are not a problem. Close to the centre and train station, but we had a booking .com taxi included, which was perfect.

It will be nice to have a couple of extra hooks in the bathroom :)

Our stay was one of the best experiences we ever had at a B&B. The host was amazing and was so friendly, gave us suggestions on what to do around the city and which restaurants to eat at. The homemade breakfast every morning started our day off to the perfect start. The room was comfortable and clean. We loved this place so much we stayed an extra night after already paying for another place in a different town. I highly highly recommend Ballroom B&B. Thank you for making our stay so special.
