The host personally prepared breakfast for me every morning - delicious Sicilian dishes and other food I wished for. The communication was quick and easy; even with my late check-in he welcomed me warmly, informed me about everything I needed to know, and offered me some local food recommendations. The daily exchanges we had in the morning were lovely, too! Great balance between privacy and company.

The bed and the pillows are not the most comfy ones and I would have enjoyed some more protein-based/healthy breakfast options

Impeccably clean and quiet accommodation with excellent air conditioning (important in Palermo in July!). My room was big, with a very comfy bed, a desk, a wardrobe for clothes, etc. Nice little balcony with a table and chairs. The breakfast is really special; I highly recommend the arancini. Location is handy for the university and close to major historical sites. The accommodation is a flat with five (?) rooms, within a quiet residential complex.

There was nothing I didn't like! However, some travellers may find it useful to know in advance that this isn't the type of B and B where there would be staff on-site overnight.

The property is very close walking distance to Palermo Centro and ideally located. If you’re visiting Palermo and looking for a B &B this is ideal. Silvio and his mom were very accommodating and helpful. They included custom made to order breakfast, as well as coffee, tea, water and snacks available all day in common kitchen. Silvio was very helpful with area and things to do and overall was a very hospitable host. The room was bright and clean and everything worked well. Overall it was an excellent experience.

The only comment negatively is it wasn’t easy to find but Silvio helped us eventually get to the right street and also saved us a parking spot in front where I could leave my car for the duration.

- The accomodation is like 15 minutes away from the main tourists sites, and the area around is pretty safe; - The whole apartament was recently renovated, everything is very clean, the kitchen is well equipped with stove, oven, fridge, and other kitchen ustensils; - The room, the bathroom and the kitchen were big enough and the bed was pretty soft; - The towels are very soft and the Wi-Fi connection is good; - The host is very nice, helpful with directions and everything, he gave me a welcoming gift (a small bottle of wine and sparkling water), a map of Palermo, and asked me what I prefered for breakfast; - The breakfast is compose of biscuits, croissants, cake, eggs, fruits, bread soft and hard, milk, yougurt, butter, cafe, hot chocolate, juice and cannoli.

- A sign or a plate with the Nairobi street from the main street will be very welcoming. You might not know the passageway beneath the bulding is a street or a parking.

I received a very friendly welcome and the room was very clean and had its own balcony. As it is located in the inner courtyard, it is very quiet. Silvio helped me with the delicacies of Palermo and the sights. It is a 20 minute walk from the accommodation to the city. The breakfast was very tasty (whether croissants, eggs, arrancino or yoghurt) - it was all there. I would like to emphasize the warmth of the hosts and the cleanliness. I can recommend this place :-)

Everything was fine for me!

I spent fantastic time in Casa Canali. Silvio, the host was so kind that there was nothing to worry about. He served every breakfast in person. Including eggs, fruits, bread, coffee, breakfast was so great. Room was clean and B&B is quite new, so everything in the room works very well and good condition. Also the B&B was near downtown so it was easy to go popular places. I will visit herw again for sure.

The apartment is well equipped, renovated. The place is spotless clean, you get amenities in the bathroom. Thus, slippers, water bottles, fruit, anything for your heart’s content. They kindly offer you a drink upon arrival. Silvio and his mother just go out of their way to help you. Silvio kindly reserved a public parking spot for us in the street, by placing his car there and removing it at our arrival. Breakfast is gorgeous (homemade arancini and even cannoli). The kitchen is opened and you can serve yourself afternoon goodies and drinks. You are 5 minutes walk to Porta Nuova entrance, which is a straight line to the center and port. The neighborhood is absolutely safe though might not look like. No worries. You are in great hands. Highly recommend if you want to feel welcomed and pampered. Grazie di cuore!

Everything went perfect these three days I stopped in Palermo! Got such a lovely welcoming by Silvio - the host. He was always willing to help, talk about the city and recommend places to see. Breakfast made by him were great! The host offers very delicious pastries and arancina maybe by him! My green room was comfortable, spacious and what is important clean. I got a private balcony, too:) The location was 5’ walking from the Main Street in Palermo so couldn’t ask for more. For the next time I will definable stop by Casa Canali! Thank you for making my solo trip to Palermo even better!

One of the best BnB I've been to. The host is especially hospitable. I didn't expect this level of service. Good breakfast prepared every morning by the host with a good variety of products. The location is perfect if you go to the university or to the centre. But it's very quiet during the night so you can rest and relax. Next time I'm staying in Palermo I'll definitely return

Everything was perfect

Clean and comfortable room with air condition, clean bathroom, nice balcony to sit outside, a lovely helpful and very welcoming host! Nice breakfast to your taste. Location is good, just a few walking minutes away from the Porta Nuova to head to old town, Cathedral, Quatro Canti and all that.

I felt really well, no real negatives. In the street in the way to city center quite a lot of trash piling up, but that’s a city issue, not the location.
