The staff and service were excellent. Room was big with upstairs bedroom and beds downstairs with a large bathroom. Breakfast was superb, the choice of food offered was incredible. The staff in particular were exceptional and did everything to make our stay enjoyable. Nothing was too much trouble, even serving us breakfast very early when we had to catch an early flight and giving us snacks for the journey. I cannot praise them enough. Lovely and generous people. A really fabulous place.

There was some road noise from the street but we were in the center of Palermo in a great location for sightseeing so it's to be expected. Just don't expect a silent night.

The staff are fantastic, multilingual and so helpful; whether giving a detailed map of the city with highlights handwritten and described in detail, booking restaurants or finding bus routes, they couldn't have done more. They also gave us extra water for a hike and a packed breakfast picnic when we had to leave early. Being greeted on arrival with a cold glass of water and a cannoli is definitely a great welcome! The breakfast is also incredible with so much choice you need an extra table to hold it all! Location is good with the daily street market 5 mins one way and the palace 5 mins the other. Just off the main tourist run but walkable to all the main sites.

Room was quite small, especially with large suitcases with nowhere to put them and not the quietest hotel with noises from other rooms as well as outside. Beds are quite hard.

Amazing hospitality!!! The rooms are quirky in a good way. The location is fantastic, right in old town, walking distance to Balero market and the cathedral. We arrived at 10:30 pm and were surprised with a plate of canolli and cake prior to being shown to our rooms. Breakfast is over the top!!! Best breakfast I have ever had in a hotel! They kept bringing us more regional dishes than we could ever eat, including the best canolli and arancine I've ever tasted. Allesandro is very hands-on, making sure everything is "molta bene" I highly recommend staying here and would definitely return.

The staff are fantastic, they go the extra mile to help book tours, taxis, dinner reservations, amend car rentals, etc. The breakfast is fantastic, way too much food! The location is wonderful, close to everything, but also quiet at night. I would recommend this to my friends!

We may have booked the last available room, so perhaps that is why it looks nothing like the online pictures. Pretty basic, but plenty of room. No shampoo/conditioner. The outer shutters for the bathroom are very dirty, but inside is clean, no complaints. The bed is a bit hard, a pillow top would help.

The staff were exceptional, friendly & attentive . The welcome drink & cake was a lovely gesture & the breakfast was a feast. Having a lift was a bonus Arranging a lift to the airport & information about restaurants was very helpful.

The downstairs area was sophisticated & chic but we were very disappointed with our bedroom. Apparently we had an upgrade to a junior suite but a motor bike hanging from the ceiling, lack of a bedside cabinet, lack of shelves & toiletries in the bathroom was not good. It was a very different experience to the downstairs area, almost like another hotel.

The location of the hotel is perfect and close to the: city center, cathedral, many restaurants. The best selling point is that the hotel is 7 minutes walking to the food market. The breakfast was AMAZING!!!! Each morning we were delighted to find the owner of the hotel waiting in the lobby to escort us to a five star breakfast in a private setting! The bed was so comfortable and the room so clean! They parked our car in a private lot down the street from the hotel and maintained the keys for easy in and out access. We were with a 3 months old kid and it was amazing place to be!! A sanctuary in Palermo. Thank you for everything!!!!! RECOMENDED 100%

A really lovely stay in this quirky hotel. It’s a very old building, tastefully restored with interesting decor and mixes old and modern. The check in process was good…we sat at a table with water and local delicacies and the reception staff provided us with a map and local points of interest, including good restaurants in the area. It’s ideally situated to visit the palace and others areas ( we previously stayed the other side of the City, so a good contrast). Breakfast was second to none but we couldn’t do it justice as we had eaten very well the night before. It included fresh fruit, meats, cheeses, eggs, yogurts and an array of pastries. The coffee was superb. The staff were friendly and really could not do enough to help. Our room was a reasonable size with a good bathroom, tastefully decorated with beautiful ceramic tiles.

This is a very old building and our room did have a slight smell of mustiness, which did go when the door to the balcony was opened. Otherwise no complaints whatsoever.

Hotel decor is impressive. Staff is super friendly and helpful, upon check-in, they took the time to share tips & useful information about the city which was a nice touch. The room was stunning and again, decor was absolutely impressive.

Breakfast was delicious, many many options and staff was super warm as always. One thing I’d suggest is to ask us what we’d like to eat instead of serving us lots & lots of pastries and bread that we won’t necessarily eat. again, the food was delicious, but it would’ve been nice to have cold cuts (cheese ham salame etc) available so we could make our own little sandwich.

The staff are all very helpful and genuine people. we used their driver to get from the airport to the hotel, he was super! The other staff from the front desk to the housekeeper all wonderfully friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were amazing and plentiful. And, the staff works as team and are very professional. The hotel is in a quiet part of the old city and is very walkable to the main sites.

Nothing really… but watch yourself as you exit the hotel entrance because you literally step onto the street. But…. I know this can’t be helped by the hotel. It is just the nature of staying in this part of Palermo.
