The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of breads, sweets, cheeses, and meats. Eggs were offered and prepared on request each morning and also coffee. The rooms were lovely and as described on the website and the beds were quite comfortable. The indoor common areas were beautiful and comfortable and the outdoor garden seating was quite lovely. Aurora is a lovely host, very friendly and welcoming. Also her staff were extremely friendly and polite and a pleasure to communicate with.

The location felt quite safe, though there was some character in the area, such as a man who asked for a euro to "protect" our rental car. We did comply one time and did not experience any damage, though I doubt he was really protecting anything! There were certainly locals who paid a lot of attention to comings and goings. The suggested guide and chef-provided dinner were quite lovely, but a bit expensive. I'm glad I experienced those extras once but will not likely plan such events again. Our family enjoyed visiting the restaurants and exploring on our own a bit more.

The feel of the place was inviting. Hosts were very kind and supportive. The B&B felt secure and safe. We had The Garden Room which had direct access to large garden area, at least 10mts x 10mts with tables and chairs to relax on. Breakfast was nice with nice coffee the way you like it. Our host Danelia was extremely helpful with booking restaurants for us. They recommended a few and each one was SO good. I'd recommend you seriously consider Giardino di Ballaro if you plan to stay in Palermo.

Although the B&B was nice inside the surrounding street area was a little rougher than we would have liked. In saying that the whole of Palermo is grungy and in areas dirty. I would not let this put you off from booking, I'm just pointing out. My wife and I walked back from the main food/bar areas numerous times at night with no issues. You just had to be aware of your surroundings and stick to the well lit lanes, etc.

The quiet serenity of this former Horse stable envelopes you as soon as you step off the busy street. Everything is both elegant and home-y at the same time, the welcoming staff simultaneously knowledgeable, warm, yet also quietly unobtrusive. A very rare combo. We got the room with sloping ceilings and sky light but my favorite favourite bit about this place is the multiple gardens and terrace spaces - 3 separate large gardens for what is essentially a tiny boutique hotel. The big garden at the back has that all important quality of being slightly overgrown - with ripe grapefruit and fig trees. All in all, we absolutely loved our stay here.

Everything at this property was beautifully managed- from the wonderful ceramics decorating the communal spaces to the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The location was ideal for the major sights and it was a great base. We were able to come back and use the cool, comfortable lounge area to recover from the heat before heading back out.

Great decor, unique and lovely rooms. Lovely staff on arrival, had a complimentary hot tub session for our honeymoon. Hot tub on the roof was amazing and so relaxing. Location is great for exploring the local areas.

Not much at all! Some of the side roads are a little dirty around the Hotel but this doesn't detract from how nice the Hotel is inside and how close it is to the main streets of Palermo.

Welcome chat from staff was excellent providing good information on sites to visit and recommended restaurants. Staff very helpful in advance of arriving and introducing us to the boutique B&B speaking really good English.

Shower cubile was small and design poor resulting in bathroom floor becoming very wet.

The property was very well appointed and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Aurora worked very hard on our behalf to make arrangements for us for tours and restaurants.

While the B&B is a wonderful facility, driving in the area can be challenging. Everything you want to go to is very close by and easy walking distance but the area is a bit depressed. One thing that would improve the stay would be folding luggage racks for suitcases in each room.

Everything was good. The hotel is clean and beautiful inside. Our room on the last floor has a skylight, no window. Room is aircon, right size just no mirror for dressing up. Bathroom a little small particularly the shower. Breakfast is simple but sufficient. Staff are nice and friendly.

The location. Not in a nice neighbourhood we felt. A bit of walk to the city about 15mins and through the dark, dirty and narrow alleyways Very intimidating. During day ok but not when it gets dark.

Even though it is very well located - walking distance to all the important landmarks, on the opposite direction there is a kind of ugly place, and it felt a bit insecure, but nothing really happened so maybe it is just a wrong perception.

It is a charming and attractive property and the public areas are lovely. The staff were very helpful and provided gf options for breakfast.

We did get some street noise. The room was rather dark. The area is quite rough but we knew that from our research and had no problems. It was very convenient for some of the sights.
