Great stay in Pisa. The location is fantastic, super quiet street. The hotel was old fashioned and quaint, and for how old the building seemed, I was surprised at the sound proofing (behind the hotel is a noisy restaurant/entertainment district). We heard nothing from our room. Bed was surprisingly very comfortable, AC and fan both worked fine. Cafe was convenient and service was friendly and quick. They're responsive on whatsapp. Good value for money!

Parking is VERY challenging, but it's understandable as it's an ancient city. But they do explain the rules well to you when you arrive and apply for your permit in advance via whatsapp.

I liked the staff especially Margarita and Moma. The cafe was fabulous, beautiful affordable fresh food

Very poor lighting in the bathroom. Sockets were very awquard when you needed to plug in a European adaptor. We only had one socket that we could use in the room. I also pre booked-a taxi with Booking. Com which I would not do again as was charged a huge sum of money in comparison with local taxis on my way back to airport

I really liked the room, it was spaceous and clean, bed was quite comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. I also liked the fact that cafe downstairs is open 24/7 which means you can get food at any time in case you're hungry :) Leaning tower within walking distance, max 15 min walk and easy to get to. It's in a quiet place so didn't hear any noise at night.

The only thing I wasn't sure about is walking to the hotel at night, not sure how safe the area is...as it's not in a vibrant street full of peolple so sometimes it may not feel as safe as perhaps other places.

Great location and the little cafe adjoining reception is very handy and food looks very fresh although never ate there. Such a quiet street, slept very well and never heard a thing at night. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

I don't think the accommodation matches the price we paid. It was expensive for 3 nights and the room was very basic with air con that didn't work, considering it was the height of summer it wasn't the best. We had a fan attached to the wall that saved the day. The mattress was dipped at one side but didn't really effect my sleep. For what we needed the room for thought it did the job.

Location of this hotel is brilliant, everything Central was within walking distance, it was a sweet short holiday. The hotel's home made cake was super and their coffees are just delicious! Staff were helpful and available 24/7. Thankyou for making our first family Pisa experience, one of the best!!

only that the AC in the room wasn't as powerful, as it was a little warm in the night.. maybe it was just because the rooms are particularly big and Ac wouldn't cool as quickly.. maybe that's the reason, either than that.. no complaints at all!!

fabulous location, easy walking distance from airport, train station and tourist spots. lots of food options located nearby also, they also have their own little cafe on site.

one small thing I would have loved would have been a kettle in the room/drink facilities. they were more than happy to give a small jug of hot water but was just annoying to have to carry up and down to the room. I had read online one review had said self catering facilities were available like a mini kitchen, but this wasn’t the case. also when we had a problem with the water cutting out in the shower half way through a shower, the receptionist couldn’t come straight away until another member of staff started their shift, which was 45-60min waiting… my daughter had just put shampoo all in her hair and we had zero water from any tap to help wash it out. it didn’t get sorted after the member of staff arrived, I just felt it left us waiting as no one was able to be called to help.

This place is a true gem. It has great character and is very well situated for visiting anywhere in the centre and easily in walking g distance of the train station. The staff were very cheerful and very helpful and the cafe downstairs is a delight and seems to be used by the neighborhood so has local flavour. It's not a glamour hotel but clean and charming and the little destruct it's in has authentic charm as well. Classical music venue with 50 yards for any classical fans. But live modern music in.many bars frequented by students nearby

During our stay at Hotel Verdi, we were always greeted at reception by the most loveliest people. We would like to give a special mention to Veronica, who is a new worker at the Hotel, and was extremely helpful and kind, she must be a pleasure to work with! This hotel is a great option when on a budget, you have everything you need, the rooms are clean, there is Wi-Fi, a safe, a hairdryer and most importantly it is in the city centre and close to the tower of Pisa.

Exceeded expectations. Excellent location easy walk to historic sites across river from station but also easy 15 min walk. Warm welcome from staff early check in and 1100 check out appreciated Good vibe from 24hr access cafe at entry to hotel Room older solid style. Understated decor. Wifi poor signal and unstable but only a minor Room also a bit cold in the shoulder season where the Italian govt shuts off heating. Allowed air conditioning but no heating! Not the hotels problem though

The staff were very friendly. I was travelling with my 19-year-old son who is in the army, so anytime he gets leave then we love to travel. We arrived at least more than 2 hours before check-in time but yet that was fine and they gave us our room. We had a bit of a faulty towers moment lol...we had arrived at the front where the food bit is and I said we were there to check-in. The lovely young man just said to go through the archway and his colleague would check us in. Well, we walked through the archway and the same man we just spoke to appeared and said 'I am my colleague, I shall now check you in' ha ha . We had a lovely stay. Everything was in walking distance of the hotel. Heck, we got off the pisa mover from the airport and only had to walk 10 minutes through lovely streets to get to the hotel. After which we wandered along to all the main sights like the leaning tower etc. We had a great stay.
