We literally loved everything about our stay at L‘Ancora- the location is not even a 5 min walk to the heart of Positano, the staff is really friendly and helpful plus we had the best breakfastview we could ever imagine ;) all in all price and value are fair and we can definitely recommend this place!

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Positano. Lovely staff who were very helpful and prompt with any requests - especially Simoné who was excellent. Great location only 5 minutes from the port. Room was spacious with a private balcony with sunbeds and a table and chairs. We had a room without a sea view but even without it was still lovely to spend some time there. Breakfast was delicious with a wife variety of cooked savory and sweet treats

This is the best location in Positano, away from the noise of the beach and directly facing the sea. The view from the room is breathtaking. The staff were very friendly with helping us during our stay. in fact we found many business owners very friendly in Positano, which was lovely. A very nice breakfast is provided.

There is no bar or lounge area for guests at the hotel, which we would have used if it was available. We are not able to get a drink or coffee at the hotel to relax. We could only have breakfast and dinner. This meant we went elsewhere.

We had a lovely stay in Hotel L'Ancora. The terrace is magnificent with a wonderful view of Positano. Our room was huge and very comfortable. We were able to check in early. Good location for the bus stop to Amalfi. The breakfast was super with a great selection of food.

We had dinner at the restaurant. I wasn't impressed with the quality of the food. We were also presented our bill without asking which is not great!

Stunning view of the cliffs around Positano, huge terrace/balcony with sun loungers, shower and bath were great, staff was all very friendly and made calls to help organize trips, transport etc. Only a short walk from Positano centre and the ferry or bus stop. The breakfast was also very good and we ate in the restaurant one night and was one of our favourite meals in Positano. Perfect for couples on a romantic getaway.

Great location of the hotel as it’s 5 min walk from the bus that takes you to and from sorrento/amalfi, and about 10-15 min walk down to the beach. The staff were super friendly and the breakfast has an amazing view of positano. Stayed only 1 night as positano is quite pricey everywhere but the room was spacious and enjoyed the jacuzzi in the patio. Excellent room service.

We splurged to stay here for a night and it was worth every penny! The view from our balcony was breathtaking. Be prepared to take lot's of photos!! Breakfast was better than expected, with plenty of small bites and a nice fridge with meats, cheeses, and yogurt. Plus, the view from the restaurant is worth it by itself!

Not the most updated rooms in terms of decor, and while we had a hottub (bonus!) unfortunately this was also our shower, which meant there was not a traditional stand up shower in our room.

Our family of 4 from the US loved our stay here and will recommend to all! The view is a “10!” Ocean and port view room with private patio table and lounges, lovely decor, appointed furnishings, amazing view breakfast, extremely helpful staff, amazing location. Short walk to ferry port, just far enough away for tranquility and can’t stop talking about the view!

I loved the location, was only 5 minutes far from the beach. All the staff were very helpful. The room was big and had spetacular views. We arrived late and by car and we easly found a parking place near the hotel, and someone from the parking place went to pick up the car for us. But the cherry on the top of the cake, was the breakfast on the terrace with stunning views .

On thing I could mention was the noise of the air conditioning of other rooms during the night, that sometimes was bothering . Other aspect was the fact of not having natural juices for the breakfast but the rest of the breakast was very good. One of the aspects of this place is the fact of having stars everywere, and the streets are up and down but I think is a feature of Positano that makes the places even more beautiful.
