We loved everything about our stay at Villa Bossa. It is very easy to access the center of Amalfi via bus as there are two bus stops on both sides of the hotel. We had a room that overlooked the water and mountains and it was breathtaking. We were also able to walk from our hotel to Ravello (that was quite the hike but so worth it for the views). The staff were also wonderful, so kind and helpful, they really made our stay great. The breakfast was also very good, lots of options depending on what you feel like that day. The feel of the hotel is also very nice, does not feel like a cookie-cutter place to stay. We would 100% come back here.

Villa Bossa was quite possibly the most perfect location we have ever stayed. It was exceptionally centrally located, with easy and free parking and able to get to any place we would want without traffic. We took many pictures from our terrace of the beautiful sea and would comment on how all the super yachts would come to play where we were living. Enzo and Dino treated us like royalty and had many connections to the best spots in town. They both became fast friends and truly made anything possible for you. We loved our stay so much, that we tried to stay one more night. Unfortunately, villosa was completely bookedAnd we went and stayed in a five star hotel for one night. That we desperately wished we could have gone back for that last night is quite an understatement. We had to go back to waiting in lines and waiting 30 minutes for our car to arrive. When we return to the Amalfi Coast, which will be as soon as possible, we will stay at villosa because we know there will be nothing better!

The location was incredible, a view of the sea from our bed, although from the website we did think the balcony would be one of the larger ones with outside loungers. Our balcony was nice but smaller than what we had hoped for. Breakfast was superb everyday and snacks were available throughout the day. Dino the owner was super helpful and recommended lots of places to see.

The beach was a longer walk than expected. The image of the steps to the beach is a little misleading in the fact that it is of the last set of steps, in reality there are considerably more. Was fine for us but if you have a buggy or not great with steps this would be difficult. Beach is lovely though. The car parking charge is not included in the room rate. It is €25 per night for a smaller car.

Property is charming and away from the crowds of Amalfi. Definitely worth getting a room with balcony. Breakfast was excellent. Dino provided many helpful recommendations and reservations that improved our stay a lot. It was fun to be his guest and he works hard to make each guests stay perfect. Feels like you have a shared home on the coast. Easy parking a big plus if you have a car.

Property is a 20 min walk from Amalfi and 10 min from beach on a hot busy road. Other than expensive taxi or very crowded buses with lines it can be hard to get around. If you want to be away from it all this is a good choice, otherwise not.

We had the best room in the place - massive terrace overlooking the sea. Lovely clean, spacious and fresh room. The Amalfi road is right outside the property but it completely immerses you in the Coast. Can walk to a really lovely little beach (5 mins), & Ravello, Minori, Maori, Atrani & Amalfi nearby (can walk to Amalfi in 20 mins). Positano is too busy (for us) but good for a day trip - an hour drive or get the bus. Also good to rent a boat for the day with Chic & Fabulous, they can dock at Amalfi so you can walk to pick up. Great breakfast & lovely people. Pictures are exactly how the place is in reality

Only one slight improvement feedback would be to have proper sun lounges on the terrace for sunbathing! Lovely relaxing chairs but sun loungers would be great

This is an amazing hotel. The location is great, the room was great, the ability to park safely off the street was great and Dino was truly awesome. From this hotel you can get to Amalfi, which is beautiful. You can rent a boat or get a tour up the coast with a group easily. Ravello is just a few minutes up the hill and you should do dinner there at least once. The food was the absolute best that we had while touring both Northern and Southern Italy. We had Giosi drive us around so logistics were super simple. I highly recommend asking Dino to ask Giosi to do your driving. Between Dino and Giosi we had no stress or worries on our trip. Everything was taken care of for us! Best place to stay! We will be back! (Giosi will pick you up from the airport in Rome or Florence and do whatever driving is needed during your stay. We will do this next time as it makes the experience so much nicer not having to worry with the Amalfi driving experience!!)

The Villa Bossa is run by Dino, an excellent host, who, although Italian, speaks Portuguese. The hotel has an excellent location, and an incredible view. The rooms are comfortable, large, clean and with a wonderful view. Breakfast is delicious. It is very close to the center of Amalfi, and worth it for those who want tranquility. By the way, Dino gives excellent tips about Ravello. My suggestion is to visit the area with a rented vespa.

The hotel has a covered garage, and it is charged separately for 30 euros, which I found expensive when the space is only available for guests who travel with a rented car

We stayed at Villa Bossa for our honeymoon and it was perfect from the moment we arrived. Dino made us feel so welcome and even had Prosecco waiting for us! He shared loads of helpful information about Amalfi and his restaurant recommendations gave us some of the best food along the coast. The views were incredible from the balcony area, it really provided a quiet and peaceful place after busy days in the different towns. The breakfast is a full selection of fresh food and has everything you could want. We had such an amazing week - thank you.

Dino greeted us with refreshments and a warm smile. Sounds cliche but we really felt like family Dino was super helpful with tips and ‘must see’ attractions around Amalfi. He even took some photos for us and showed us around the amenities, etc. Such a great staff, the room service ladies were fantastic as well. They can prepare you eggs and breakfast just how you like: fantastic fruit and fresh orange juice, croissants, yogurt, cereal, etc. They were even able to accommodate an annoying last minute request for some laundry for us with a smile. Super clean, super professional and a totally different experience from big hotel chains. We really enjoyed staying at Villa Bossa and Dino was seriously awesome. Such a nice guy and a great conversationalist. We actually spent our last night in Amalfi at the resort just having a few drinks with the owner (Dino) and chatted, laughed and shared funny travel stories, talked about all kind of stuff. Dino comped our Prosecco and was legitimately fun to hang out with. I felt like I was just having cocktails with friends. What a great time we had. I will 100% recommend Villa Bossa to any of my friends visiting Amalfi. Such a great resort and great location! It’s not a cheap trip but if you come to Amalfi, Villa Bossa is worth every penny.

Dino was fantastic. We had a wonderful welcome upon arrival. We arrived in Italy with delayed luggage, and he was even willing to help us by calling the luggage delivery company to try and get updates for us, since we don't speak any italian. There is a complementary breakfast each morning as well, which was absolutely delicious. And we can't forget to mention, the sunset views from the balcony are incredible.

We go back and forth on the pros/cons of the location. We (being thrifty travelers) chose to walk back and forth town. It's an easy walk, and it's not too terrible far, but we were also traveling when it was 95 degrees. So any bit of frown was due to all the sweating we did on the walk haha. But there are a lot of perks; you get out beyond the main city. You can stop and see Atrani (super cute). And the Spiaggia di Castiglione made for a great beach day. All of which we likely wouldn't have seen if we stayed in Amalfi town. It also is super convenient for a day trip to Rovello.
