Lovely building in a good location with professional friendly staff

It's an old hotel and doesn't have many of the facilities that modern and much cheaper hotels have, eg USB plugs, sound proof doors and digital TVS. Breakfast was average but served but by very friendly helpful staff Upon checking in I was told that I had only booked for one and would have to pay and extra 60 Euros per night for my daughter. Luckily I had my original booking and it showed I had booked for both of us. When I questioned this the hotel agreed and explained that they had simply not looked into the booking in great detail, I was a bit annoyed about this as their simple error may have proven quite costly to me.

Classy, immaculate property. Staff were kind and competent. The room I booked was an Executive King. It was large and clean with a comfortable bed. We slept very well. The breakfast was delicious and in a stunning ball room with table service gif the coffee

AC is controlled by front desk and you must ask to have it cooler. Our room was very hot and humid as it was set at 25! I had to call repeatedly to try to make my room comfortable. Despite the staff’s attempts to lower the temperature, it would not move below 24. Opening the window at night was cooler than the AC. The Rimini area is tacky. Beachy. Crowded. Outdoor seating with everyone smoking. Luckily, we found a wonderful seafood restaurant on the harbor, away from the tacky strip with outstanding food and service. Club Nautico you saved our trip!!!!

The hotel is beautiful and has everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel constructed at the beginning of the 20th century. We liked everything, including the location (right overlooking the beach/sea), the grandeur of the downstairs lobby and restaurants and the room(s). We were especially impressed with helpfulness and professionalism of the reception staff, especially Lumi who could not have been more helpful and was instrumental in getting us an upgrade. We very much hope to return one day!

Everything was perfect.

Gorgeous hotel, very well maintained and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Exceptionally competent and friendly staff (Francesca at the front desk was particularly helpful). Superb breakfast in a lovely salon and great gardens. Christmas lunch was delicious, with a great menu and wine pairing, and exceptional selection of desserts.

"Black cod" in the menu was just cod (not sablefish, as suggested by the name), and the removal of plates before everyone had finished was a bit overenthusiastic... these were minor quibbles.

The hotel looks like a fairy tale and has a beautiful garden and pool (not open in May though). The breakfast was one of the best we have had, wide selection of food and drinks, delicious choices.

Having some experience in hospitality ourselves, it is a bit pity that the staff is not little more friendly, to fulfill guests expectations when coming into such hotel. We would also appreciate a bit more attention to detail, especially at the reception as this is the first contact for guests.

The room was well appointed and the bed linen was exceptional making for great sleeping. Pillows weee also very comfortable. The room was quite large when considering their was a walk in wardrobe as well as super sided ensuite. The breakfast was amazing, and included Prosecco 🥹

I had read mixed reviews especially around the noise factor which disturbed sleep. I was lucky the street disco/club was not operating outside summer months. So that was a relief. The lighting is high tech and takes some working out. The pool was roped off so could not use even though it was warm weather.

This is as 'grand' a traditional hotel as is imaginable, beautiful decor, lovely garden, tastefully decorated room. Staff friendly and helpful and didn't turn away a traveller with a backpack and walking boots. Strangely quiet though, when I was there the focus seemed to be on conferences taking place, hence, perhaps, the exceptionally cheap rate I had for one night. Very memorable taste of the high-life. Recommended.

Beautiful common areas and grounds. The room, though a little dated, was very nice.

The air conditioning is controlled by the hotel. It was off when we got to the room and we had to call the front desk to have it turned on. When we woke the next morning, they had it locked on 26. I called the front desk again and they changed it to 24. Still too warm.

Stunning beachfront location. Historic classic building sympathetically modernised. Room 328: well-equipped and comfortable room and bathroom, both with views of the Adriatic. Attentive, friendly and helpful staff. An excellent range of dishes at the breakfast buffet.

To be fussy- not very hot water in bathroom early in the morning but otherwise fine.

Definitely the nicest along the beach in Rimini. Lovely, old, stately hotel. Location is an easy walk to the beach (it's across the street). The restaurant is excellent. Delicious food and excellent service. Very good wine list too!

Not much to dislike, if you like this sort of hotel. One complaint would be that there was a large convention there so the hotel was occasionally crowded in public areas and less peaceful than it would normally be. If you book there, I would try to confirm if there is a large event taking place. I'm sure there are lots of weddings there too - again, could be something that would interrupt your ability to fully enjoy the place. Also, the parking is crazy! Wow - self-park and then you leave the keys with the front desk if they have to move your car. I opted to park on the street.
