The hotel is beautiful and full of character. The courtyard is so pretty and lovely to relax in. Our room was great- plenty big enough, super comfy bed and lovely exposed beams- felt like we were staying somewhere special. The staff at Le Clarisse are so warm and friendly, nothing was ever too much trouble and they have an excellent what’s app service to ask anything during your stay. The breakfast is a buffet style with everything you could want. The location is fab- in Trastevere near to heaps of great restaurants and away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre (only 30ish minute walk to the coliseum) I can’t really say enough good things about this hotel, having travelled a lot this is without doubt the best hotel I’ve stayed in.

Just like the pictures. Clean and quiet! Our room was so cute and had a view of the garden sitting area for breakfast. Staff was so nice and helped us get private transportation since we had to leave for airport at 4:30am. We loved the location! Not inside city center but we wanted to be more where the locals were for food. City bus stops are right by the hotel so makes it easy to get to everywhere. a/c was so cold! Bed was comfortable and big. Definitely would stay here if we came back to Rome. Shower is a little small but was fine for my husband and I. I think that is expected being in Europe. Walking distance from hotel is a super popular restaurant. We tried to eat there because they had 24k 5 star reviews but the wait was a little long. But other restaurants in walking distance. Hotel felt secure and safe. Communication before we arrived with staff was good too.

Loved the building, not just the usual hotel room, beautiful and peaceful, ideal in such a busy area. Great location, perfect to walk to everything! Staff were all wonderful and loved that there was a spare room for us to change and freshen up before heading to the airport. Would definitely recommend and book again.

Couple of hairs in the bathroom, shower plug could have a cap on as it really hurts to step on it. More shelving and hooks in the bathroom would be great. Breakfast selection was a bit small, would have liked large pastries and larger mugs for drinks.

Everything was perfect. Staff were great, kind and approachable - especially Cecilia at the reception! The location is ideal, as it is well connected to the center via buses, and obviously very alive at night. In fact, the hotel is just 5 minutes walk away from the most delicious restaurants Trastevere has to offer, but not right in the middle of the hustle, which means you can get a good night's sleep without external noises. The room was very clean and quite spacious for one person. I have not tried the breakfast!

I liked everything about my stay. Nothing to complain about.

Staff were well very friendly and helpful especially Antonio who made us feel very welcome after a stressful journey. The location In Trastevere is excellent. A very interesting part of the city in a largely pedestrianised area. There are many restaurants and bars which are good value. Transport links are good with bus stops nearby with tap and go payments. Breakfast was very good with a variety if hot and cold food. Our room Dalia had a private entrance and was very comfortable with a king size bed, decent shower satellite TV and tea and coffee making facilities.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The location was convenient for local cafes and restaurants etc and also close to bus stops for buses to both Trastevere train station and central Rome, as well as being walking distance from several sights. The breakfast had a nice selection of food and drink, (though recommend at least one breakfast at a local cafe for pastries and coffee). The room was spotlessly clean and there was plenty of room for two people.

We did find the single beds rather small and uncomfortable, so one of us used the sofa bed which was better. There was a bit of noise from the building (pipes etc) not surprisingly given the age of it and because we were at street level we couldn’t have the shutters / window open (okay for Feb but maybe not so nice in summer). this also meant the room was quite dark. Though we were out most of the time so not a big deal. wifi not available one day and patchy service.

The location is exceptional, the price even more so. The staff were the friendliest I have ever met on my travels and took care of my every need. Love the courtyard, the spacious and charming rooms, modern shower and bathroom facilities, and the laundry service. It felt like staying with family. I heartily recommend it and will stay there whenever I visit Rome.

No complaints at all! It was everything I needed.

I can't say enough great things about Relais Le Clarisse! We picked it because of the "triple rooms" and because of it's location; easy walking distance to most major sites, yet in the heart of beautiful Trastevere. The immediate location around the hotel had lots of cafe's and stores to enjoy! We couldn't have been happier. I stayed with extended family members (in three separate rooms) and we all felt as if it were a second home by the end of our stay. The staff was so warm, welcoming and helpful. the rooms were clean, and spacious. And in the extreme heat of the summer, the air conditioning was VERY welcome and strong. We spent hours in the calming, shady garden talking and planning our days. The self serve breakfast was yummy with lots of choices including meats, eggs, breads and homemade cakes. I would absolutely book this hotel the next time I'm in Rome. In fact, I tried to book for the following week when I returned to Rome with some friends, but they were already totally booked through to the end of August! However, I still stopped by just to say hello the to the staff the following week....like I said...it felt like home.

We had a wonderful experience at Relais Clarisse. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful - The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, extra bonus for the large bathroom! The central location made it convenient to access key attractions even by foot - if you like walking like we do! Otherwise, bus and tram station just across the street! I highly recommend Relais Clarisse for a delightful and memorable stay.

Fantastic location in Trastevere near a main roadway and restaurants. really felt like I was in a place where we could see how Romans really live and be away from the tourist traps.

There was a major thunderstorm that knocked out the power. for some reason this triggered a very bright emergency light in our room and bathroom. I can understand the bathroom area but the light was so bright in the bedroom it woke me up and we couldn’t get it turned off. luckily I was able to reach the concierge emergency line through WhatsApp and I believe they were able to turn that light back off. in the morning the front desk was quick to get our power up and running again. so I applaud the service, just think they need to replace or relocate that emergency light.
