Superb location a short distance from the Forum and in the Monti area of Rome. A lovely hotel on little square next to the Ukrainian Greek Catholic church. The room was tastefully decorated with a mini-bar and a safe with a huge bathroom featurung a large bathtub and seperate shower. Really comfortable beds and the hotel also provided ear plugs as the square outside can be a little noisy in the summer evenings. Good buffet breakfast with both hot and cold selection. Very helpful receptionist. Definitely will stay here again on our next trip to Rome.

Very good location and great staff. Gabriella was super helpful with recommendations and directions and very friendly! The room has all amenities you need, I appreciated that it was quality products by Rituals :) Bed was comfy and 4 pillows (for 1 person) made me really happy

Although I has asked for a quiet room, then still somehow first morning I started hearing some loud bangs outside my room at 6-7am and the second morning it sounded like someone was drilling something at 8am (i was up by that time so no worries). I think I was just above the kitchen so maybe thats why. They do have earplugs in the room so that is a nice touch and helped and I do understand it is an old building so not much to do about it.

The smell of the lobby was incredibly perfect. Staff is very helpful and kind. The location is very close to every place you would like to visit in Rome. The rooms are very clean. I would stay at Casa Santa again if I visit Rome.

The hotel is very cute, a beautiful lobby and very clean rooms. It’s located in Monti, super central district from where you can walk to most of the sightseeing locations. You will live next to Colosseo. The breakfast is rich - salty and sweet options, eggs of different kind, classical pastry, fresh cakes, fruits and amazing Italian coffee. The staff is really attentive and very kind, they helped me with several questions. I had a room 205, it has a nice view to the piazza Monti (single bed).

The rooms are small, especially the bathrooms (with a shower curtain). My bed was single and I almost fell from it 😁 But I would say it’s the only down point.

Breakfast was great, and the rooms were decent, though the bedding was a bit too soft for our liking. Overall, a solid choice for anyone visiting Rome. Would definitely recommend!

The staff, location, and lobby area were great! And in the case of the staff, they were really helpful and kind. Breakfast was worth it, and it was very clean. Also, once I learned that the shutters can close, it made sleeping much easier. I also loved the toiletries and the diffusers in the lobby.

Nothing that's a deal breaker, but a few things. The pillows could be refreshed, as they weren't so comfortable. The door knob also gets stuck in the door sometimes, which was a bit annoying. And the shower sucks the curtain in so that it's not really so nice to shower.

I had a wonderful stay at Casa Santa Sofia in Rome! Nestled in a quiet and charming neighborhood, it was the perfect retreat after a day of sightseeing. The staff at Casa Santa Sofia were exceptionally polite and welcoming, always ready to assist with any request. The room was spacious enough for our three-night stay, offering plenty of comfort for two people. It was cleaned daily, which was a nice touch and kept everything feeling fresh. Overall, I highly recommend Casa Santa Sofia for anyone looking for a peaceful, well-located place to stay in Rome with attentive service. It’s a real gem in the heart of the city!

Hotel is very close to important historical place (especially colessium and metro station) I prefered metro only for vatican city, other places can be reached with walking easly. Room has modern design and include everything which is needed Personels are very kind and helpful. They answered my all question and help me when ı decided arrange a dailly tour for capri. During the 5 nights ı stayed and I am so glad from this hotel.

The room which I stayed first day very small and dont have window which has outside view. But when ı stated this issue them they changed my room and new room was very nice and better than previous

The staff were lovely, the location was amazing, just 5mins walk to the colloseum & forum. And the area Monti is really arty with amazing vintage and bespoke shops, and beautiful streets to explore. Lots of great restaurants, cafes and bars. Located in a lovely square with a fountain. 5 mins to Carvour metro. Great room, cleaned every day, great breakfast, and a lounge area, very cool design. Perfect. Oh and very good shower, hot and powerful. So well located, would definitely stay again if I’m lucky enough to go back to Rome.

The location to Colosseum and breakfast variety were the best aspects of the property. The lobby was very cozy and the staff was nice as well.

The room did not have a little fridge or tea kettle. I was not allowed to take a cup of coffee from dining room to my room. There was some work being done on the property so at times it was noisy. The doors were very thin so you could hear people in the hallway.
