I had a pleasant stay. All staff was polite, and my room was ready to check in early. The room was smaller, but this is typical for Rome. The only complaint was that my shower cabin was clogging up after 1 minute. So, it would overflow if I wanted more than a 3-minute shower. There was a bottle of water in the fridge, but it was priced at €10 if you decide to drink it. I think it is better to have a couple of bottles of cheaper water at €5- this way it would be more reasonable because the store next to the hotel sells water at €1. Other than that, it's quite a good place.

Really good location for tourists, in the historic area of Rome, walk to the tourist areas. Metro is close by and not far from Opera house of Rome. Staffs are super friendly, everytime you went in the hotel, they greeted you. Many restaurants and bars around, very conveniet to stay.

Very small room, not much room for the big luggages. Breakfast was terrible. The lift is super small can only fit one person.

Absolutely spectacular hotel. The room was lovely spacious and very clean. The location couldn’t be better. 2 minute walk to the Colosseum and 15 minutes to the Trevi Fountain. There is a shop beside the hotel and it is a 2-3 minute walk to some really nice restaurants. The buffet breakfast was lovely and only €12 per person. The staff were brilliant. They were so friendly and extremely helpful. I asked the receptionist to call a taxi to the airport at the end of my stay and they waited outside with me to help me to find the correct taxi. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.

The Hotel Cavour is ideally located for everything Rome - its 5 mins walk from the Colosseum, 10 mins from the train station etc. The bonus is that it had a lift (no suitcases to lug upstairs) and a small bar. The staff were wonderful and due to the times of my tours I spoke most with David and Antoinella who were always polite, friendly and so helpful. There are lots of dining options within walking distance and a discount offered at a nearby restaurant for guests of the hotel. Also nearby were mini marts and souvenir stores and I would definitely consider staying here again and would recommend to friends traveling.

Nothing - the hotel was great !

We absolutely loved Hotel Centro, it was our first time staying in Rome and found the location to be great, literally a few minutes walk to the Colosseum and other attractions. There are many great bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk also, we felt we were close enough to everything without being stuck in the tourist 'trap' areas. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well equipped and the staff we so helpful throughout, a credit to the hotel. We particularly liked the hotel offering discount at the restaurant 'Benso' next door, the food there was so good and authentic.

Nothing , it was perfect for us

Stayed at the Centro Cavour for a weekend city trip with my son. The room was a great size for us and offered all the comforts we needed. The hotel is in a great location on Via Cavour to explore the surrounding attractions and sights (Colosseum is maybe a 5 minute walk away in one direction and the Forum Romanum in the other). There are plenty of restaurants and small shops in the neighbourhood and the main transport links are also very close.

Not major to complain about overall. If anything, Via Cavour is a busy street 24/7 and can be quite noisy. If you are looking for a hotel option close to the Vatican and the attractions on that side of the city, this is obviously not it.

Perfect time in this hotel. Location is great, close to each of the main points of Roma (Colloseum, Foro Romano, Fontana di Trevi, Pantheon, Piazza Navona). We reach all this places on foot and it wasn't exhausting. It is worth to point out that personnel is great all the people at the reception desk are incredible together with the "breakfast staff". Rooms are tidy up every day and the cleanness is on high level. Breakfast are simple but really tasty and fresh (coffee is also on high level). For sure I will stay in this hotel in the future.

Good location, just 5 mins walk to the colosseum. Bus stop right infront of hotel. Hotel is clean and shower has good water pressure. Beds are comfortable enough. House keeping is also good and regular.

They gave me an early check in. It was spotless clean. The room has complete amenities and with balcony. Strong wifi. The location is very central, just a few minutes away from the Colosseum, great restaurants and other landmarks and in a super safe location. The staff were amazing. I didnt tell about my birthday but Antonella somehow marked it from my passport. She greeted me a happy birthday in the morning and did a nice surprise for me when I came back to the hotel in the afternoon, they left me a sweet birthday gift in my room, and the other staff greeted me too. I was very touched, I wasn’t expecting that. The staff were very polite and hospitable. They also give you a discount card to the nice traditional restaurant next door. They also have maps and tour pamphlets available at the reception. The reception and room service are there if you need something making the whole stay comfortable. Their service is like that of a five star hotel’s.

Staff are very helpful with arrival, calling taxis and providing us with a coupon for a nearby restaurant, which was quite nice. My room was on the 6th floor, with a little balcony and a view down the street. But it was also remarkably quiet at night. The windows are thick and although it's a main street, there aren't a lot of bars and restaurants in front of it. The room was a good size, and very clean. The bathroom was modern and large enough for my needs. The shower was great. I loved the location, many restaurants, bars and shops just around the corner. The main attraction is the Colosseum just a short walk away. The area is really nice to walk around, and we walked to almost everything we wanted to see.

Some travelers should be aware that this is an old building, and the elevator is very small - just 2 people, or 1 with luggage. But I never had to wait long.
