The property was excellent and I would highly recommend staying here. The location, Monti, is exceptional and the b&b is close to all the wonderful sights that Rome has to offer. The Colosseum, for example, is literally just around the corner. Emma, the host, was very accommodating and extremely helpful. She was always on hand to offer help or give some useful tips. We could not have asked for a better place to stay for our first visit to the wonderful city of Rome!

Everything was perfect.

The room is in an apartment with two other rooms that share a common kitchen area. The location is incredible as it is right next to the colosseum and a metro station that takes you pretty much anywhere. The host and the girl that checked us in were very nice and available if we had any needs. They offer cheese and prosciutto with bread and milk and juice for breakfast. Very convenient for a day or two in the big city.

Unfortunately there was an alarming amount of mold everywhere in the room and in the bathroom. I woke up with a really bad headache and I think it was because of that. The mold was all over the floors and walls next to the bed, and next to the sink and in all corners in the bathroom. Wouldn’t recommend staying for more than two days as it is not safe to breath that in in such a small room.

Location was perfect - handy for the airport, couple of minutes to the colosseum but not too far from other major sights either, metres away from many restaurants. The room was very spacious and quiet - double windows kept the noise away at night.

The internal walls were very thin, we could hear people talk at breakfast. There was a late check in one of the nights that woke us up and kept us awake until the newly arrived guests went to sleep. Luckily, there were only 2 other rooms so it wasn’t a problem too often.

The location was excellent, close to the Forum and other must see sights. The streets around the b&b are full of interesting boutique shops and lovely restaurants and bistros. Emma gave us great information about local places to eat etc. The room was large and warm, and stylishly decorated. The kitchen and dining area had everything we needed and the breakfast provided was nice.

We stayed 3 nights and noticed the shower wasn't hot on 2 occasions- both in the evening. Shower was hot in the morning though.

The location of the B&B is perfect, it is just a few minutes away from the Coliseum, and the rest of the main Rome attractions are within a reasonable walking distance. Even though the room is in the center and the life around the street is very much alive, there was no sound audible in the room itself so it did not disturb the night sleep. Also, the room was equipped with air conditioning so the hot weather outside was not an issue. Everything was nice and clean, comfortable bed. Emma is very open and welcoming. She took her time to explain everything carefully, how everything worked, what was where, and breakfast arrangements. She told us about and drew on a map of the main tourist sites to see, explaining exactly what to expect and at what time to go there. Emma also was reachable via WhatsApp if there were any questions. Perfect stay in Rome! Will come back if ever in Rome and would recommend it! Thank you, Emma!

The room and bathroom we very spacious and clean and also in an excellent location. About ten minutes from the colosseum and minutes from great restaurants and shops.

There was air conditioning at a level I was satisfied with but if you are a hot sleeper like my husband, you might struggle at night. However many European hotels are like this so it’s not necessarily a “problem” but just be warned if you are a hot sleeper! I was totally fine! The breakfast wasn’t what you’d think either. It’s prepackaged and on the go, but I think it’s a fine deal for the price we pay!

Emma our host, is a fantastic hostess who went out of her way to make Shaun and I welcome. She offered a wealth of information of what to visit and see whilst in Rome and where to eat. Our room was very clean and comfortable. We were ideally located as the B&B was only 200m away. The breakfast was a traditional continental breakfast with a variety of choices. Loved that Emma provided proper Kelloggs Cornflakes!! Thank you Emma for a wonderful stay and experience.

The property was excellent. Super clean, with everything you need. It is just in the centre, couple of minutes away from Colosseum and walking distance from many important attractions and also good restaurants nearby. But the best part of this experience was meeting the host, Emma. Such a lovely person, she gave us valuable advices to make our trip awesome. Strongly recommend Cibele B&B and trust Emma’s advices. :)

The place is in the city center, close to everything. In fact, we rarely had to take a bus. It's private and quiet, right in the city center. Thomas was a joy to communicate with! We could leave our luggage there even after moving out, which was a life saver.

The A/C was way too weak for our room (worked great in the common room though). The person communicating on B&B's behalf on booking.com came off as either a bot or a little arrogant.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cibele! The rooms are modern and beautifully decorated, the place is pleasant. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the Colosseum. Ema is a very nice, helpful, and welcoming host, always available. Breakfast was modest but sufficient for us. We would definitely come back. Thank you!

The only problem for us was mold and dust in the bathroom (in the fan above the shower, in the corners of the shower), it should be resolved.
