Location and staff were wonderful. Always helpful and enthusiastic with giving advice as to where to go and how to get there. Great experience

The location of the hotel is very central. I also felt very secured in the property as it has 24/7 staff at the reception. I was able to reach all my attractions either by walking or by near bus station. The breakfast was also really good with large variety to choose from. The room was also clean. The staff was nice especially Alen. They even arranged very early breakfast for me and my daughter. The hotel is also near lots of good restaurant and shops.

The room was very small. The AC broke, but the staff made sure that it was fixed and also offered another room which was bigger and comfortable.

The price/value ratio of the accommodation is perfect. The staff is a very positive experience. Two beautiful angels at the reception are very helpful. I was able to speak German with the night receptionist, which was easier for me. The breakfast is simple but great. The "Italian mamma" who serves breakfast pays attention to everything. The morning receptionist helps with breakfast and knows the answer to any question, she is very helpful. The room is simple and clean. The bed was perfect for me. The location of the hotel is perfect, everything is within walking distance.

I was in the hotel on a short trip, I didn't have high expectations. The hotel is not a luxury hotel, so mistakes are compensated by the helpfulness of the staff.

Me and my husband spent 3 lovely nights in Rome at the hotel grifo, the staff there were very welcoming and nice. we had asked for some prosecco and fruit in the room since we are on our honeymoon and they had arranged that for us so nicely when we arrived! they showed us places we should visit and where you could have a good dinner. the room was small but very nicely decorated and had everything we needed. we were served a lovely breakfast and good coffee.

the heat pump made an annoying noise so we had to turn it off at night, the air got heavy and the room got very hot. but this is only a trifle.

The property was clean, air conditioned rooms and fridges in each room so we could fill up with drinks for our return daily after hot days out in Rome. staff were extremely friendly every single one of them! They gave us a map when we checked in and highlighted where we should go during our trip. They also recommended us places to eat where we wouldn’t fall into tourist traps. First time in Rome, the location was central to where we wanted to be with the colloseum being right at the end of the street. Close walk to other areas, with being a family bringing a child with us we have never felt so safe thanks to hotel Grifo. Will defo return! :)

We have never been to a hotel with such friendly and helpful staff who were truly available at all times for anything we needed. Perfectly clean rooms, fantastic location with all tourist attractions within walking distance - Colosseum, Piazza Venezia, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon... Once again I would like to thank every employee at the reception desk for their immense kindness, you contributed the most to our impression of this hotel. I am looking forward to our return to Hotel Grifo :)

There's not a single thing that I didn't like

The people at Hotel Grifo were the best! We stayed for 5 nights and they made our stay exceptional. They helped us with everything from where to get the best gelato, pizza and pasta to the directions and tips on the best ways to get around the area. Their latte macchiatos were delicious and you could get a cup of tea or coffee any time. The breakfast was very good, as well! The hotel had a wonderful atmosphere as it is older and very interesting; so rooms and bathrooms were a bit small, but this is probably true of many of the older hotels the area. We had enough room and everything we needed. If you require anything at all, you just need to ask the wonderful people at the front desk.

Stayed July 31 to August 2, 2023 with family of 4. Greeted by amazing, professional, welcoming and super helpful Staff at Hotel Grifo. Gave good recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. The Hotel us positioned in very trendy and eclectic neighborhood and walking distance to most tourist attractions and Rome Termini Train Station. Jaleel provide us a very interesting history of the Hotel and of the neighborhood. Rooms and bathrooms are small but typical for Rome accommodations. Beds and pillows were very comfortable and good water pressure in the shower. Rooms very clean. Breakfast was plentiful and offered sweet and savory items along with fresh fruit, assorted juices, various coffees, cereal and yogurts. A special thanks go to Jaleel, Marianna, Alen, Ahmed and all the staff at Hotel Grifo. Any issues were resolved immediately!! Some rooms have small shower stalls that may not be suitable for tall or larger guests. Some rooms don’t have small fridges.

Excellent warm breakfast with good coffee. Friendliest reception by Eva and Mariana and most helpful. Aircon worked well as it was 36deg heat. Nice quiet location with not much external noise. Will definitely recommend. Authentic old UNESCO building.

Shower very small.

It was interesting. We were separate from the hotel but had a secure door to enter into the building. We didn’t have a view but window opened to apartments across from us. Made me feel a little like I was living in Rome listening to my neighbors talk, eat, etc. We were 7 minutes walk from colosseum which was very convenient. A lot of places to eat around the hotel. Even a little grocery. The front office staff were very helpful. Breakfast was adequate. Nice espresso machine, cereal, juice, pastries, supplied and fruit to buy.

Wish there were washcloths provided and shampoo and conditioner. No safe in the room, but the room was in a very secure place.
