Carmelita was most accommodating. the room was comfortable and exceptionally clean. the continental breakfast was perfect.

The hotel is located on the fourth floor of the building. I wasn’t crazy about the ride in the small elevator, but everything else was wonderful!

Really friendly and helpful staff. Excellent location just 5 mins from main rail and bus terminal. Some good restaurants nearby. Accommodation was spotlessly clean and serviced to a high level each day. Nice large comfortable bed. Property is very secure with a manned desk on the 4th floor. Breakfast was very comprehensive. Would highly recommend and would use again.

The only thing was that the shutter on the window was broken down we couldn’t open it.

This is really a gem in the heart of Rome! Just walking distance from Termini bus terminal and metro. Clean room. Firm bed, which works for us. They gave us fresh towels everyday. Breakfast is available at 7:45 am at the earliest, which they let guests choose what to order. We informed them to just cancel ours because we had to leave early in the mornings because our tours were early. They went the extra mile and prepared for us a tray every night. As guest, we enjoyed 10% discount at a restaurant next door. We had an early flight when we checked out, and the staff helped us book a taxi. We’re very grateful for their excellent service throughout our stay. Would definitely recommended this place to anyone who would visit Rome.

Nothing, really.

The staff is friendly, especially the lady serving breakfast and the lady checked us in. The hotel provides amenities, candies, water and snacks that made the stay very comfortable. The room is very clean. The location is in a quiet small street with 5-7minutes walk to the train station (Termini) so it is super convenient to take the train or metro. The family restaurant downstairs was super good with good value. As guests we got 10% discount.

Francesca, the owner, went out of her way to buy us new pillows as I had complained that the existing ones were too thin. Everything was well-thought and laid out . The room was beautifully done and the bathroom was really well-designed. We had breakfast arranged at a cafe across the road and it was very nice. The pastries are delicious !

I did not realise that this is a B&B kind of hotel. It is a boutique- sized hotel on the 4th floor of a nondescript building which gives no indication that it existed . Other than knowing that the address is correct, it took us several minutes to understand from the security guard how we could find our way up the hotel. Being used to big hotel chains and their ground floor prominence and entrances , I was shocked at first . I am not used to this kind of set-up for a hotel. And when the ancient lift broke down, I almost cried at the thought of having to move my luggage from room to roadside .

It was a very clean room and it was perfect in size, the brekfast was served in your room and though the options where limited, the options you had where very good. The staff was very friendly and helpfull and cleaned your room everyday, (beware that the might move your things and fold your clothes, not a con but something to be aware of lol)

It was a bit hard for us to find the place, mostly our fault though. The walls are very thin, so if you're a light sleeper you might be woken up by door opening/closing or talking. Good to maybe sleep with earplugs if you can 👌

Gemme di Roma is idealy situated close to Termini Station with quick connection to the airport and very userfriendly car rental hub. Simona and her team did everything to offer us every day a wonderful stay in very clean rooms with perfect air-conditioning and Wifi. It's a pity there is no common space out of the 5 rooms to sit together, but luckily there is restaurant La Famiglia downstairs, open from 12:15 till 23:00, which became a logical extension of our hotel rooms :-).

If there is one small thing that could be improved to reach really 10/10 (instead of 9,6), it would be adding some fresh fruit to the daily breakfast to make it more healthy and varieted.

Lovely friendly clean place to stay. Family of three - two adults and one child age 6. Excellent location near by the main train/metro/bus station and about a 30min walk to sights like collesum. There is a Lift and good air conditioning which was need as there was a heatwave (summer 2023). Room spacious for a city centre property and very very clean and comfortable and well appointed - simple and well maintained not at all fussy, calm relaxing vibe. Family room sleeps three well with a full size double and single bed. Staff very friendly, welcoming and informative. Great recommendation and discount for a restaurant just down the street which was fantastic. Good choice of continental breakfast options and fridge in room very helpful for chilling drinks as it was so hot. Tiny bit of street noise at night but it’s central Rome so that is to be expected and part of character! - can hardly hear with double glazing and aircon on anyway.

Not quite enough space to comfortably eat breakfast in room for the three of us- no table and as there were three of us we couldn’t fit at the desk (although three chairs were provided), but there is the communal balcony outside for breakfast which was lovely so not exactly a downside but maybe should be made clearer on booking details that there is no communal inside dining hall.

The conveniency was superb! Talked to the owner too, and she was nice.

I had a deal/talked with the owner the day we arrived, since we stayed only for overnight, so we checked out early around past 8 in the morning and I asked the day before we checked out if I can leave my trolley in their luggage storage, the lady attended on that morning was fine and asked me about what time am I going back to pick up my luggage. And of course! I said around 4 to 5 in the afternoon. When we arrived at the hotel around 16:30 the moment we stepped inside, my luggage was standing right in front of the door or close to the recepsionist table or the receiving of guests area. I was disappointed when I saw my luggage standing close to the main door, when me and the owner had a talked already. As a guest, I felt like I wasn't treated well by their staffs.

It was difficult to find. Thinking it was a Hotel kept looking for the sign. It is in an apartment building on the 4th floor and there is a very small sign along with many others. We walked past it several times before locating it as it is down an alley in a courtyard. They need to send out with every booking clear instructions on how to find it. Example - Located in a courtyard behind the La Famiglia Restaurant on Via Gaeta- first door on the left on the 4th floor.
