First time in Italy and I was not disappointed. Very happy to have found Gio Suites and its host Nicola. He was perfect before and during my holidays. In the heart of the famous Trastevere district, it is the ideal place to get lost in the streets and find great bars and restaurants. I recommend the Ivo Trastevere restaurant located right next to Gio Suites. They have the best tiramisu I've ever eaten in my life!!!! Everything is accessible on foot, by tram or bus, it's perfect for visiting the city. The bed is super comfortable and I am demanding! Everything is functional and Nicola was perfect. Breakfast is perfect too Thank you very very much and see you very soon 🇮🇹

My host Nicolo(?) Was very friendly, flexible and helpful during my stay. I was travelling alone to Rome for the first time and he made me feel safe as he was staying nearby and always available by phone if needed. I managed to lose my keys during my stay and he thankfully responded quickly to rectify the situation. I really appreciated Nicolo's hospitality and friendly nature. The room itself was perfect, good AC, wifi, fridge, private bathroom in a beautiful old building. Loved the breakfast service in the mornings. The location was amazing! Love this part of the city with many beautiful restaurants/bars/cafes and historical sites within walking distance, felt like a safe neighborhood. Would 100% come back!

Lovely size room with ample space for luggage and a big window onto the street, great location walkable to main areas of Trastavere. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was simple but functional. We didn't spend much time in the room but were let leave our luggage earlier than check in time which was really helpful!

Toilet continued to run unless you manually pushed the top lever back up, shower had some excess buttons that didn't seem to be functional, didn't impact use of main shower but may have been confusing to others. However neither caused us issue!

Family owned business and they were lovely people! Cleaner did a great job cleaning the room each day 10/10!! Fridge in room was handy They made us a yummy breakfast in the morning with delicious croissants, cappachino and fruit salad delivered to the room Easy to contact via WhatsApp Area felt safe day/ night and good location

The curtains are thin and I struggle to sleep with light. However, this was fixed with a sleeping mask and may not impact everyone. The bath had a slight leakage

The location is very convenient, allowing you to reach the city center on foot in no time. Also, while not in perfect condition, a small jacuzzi in the room was a pleasant surprise! A personal fridge was also convenient.

The bathtub was a bit broken, causing the water to leak, so we spent some time wiping the floors with the towels. However, for this price, near the city center, it is acceptable, I guess. Also, they do not provide slippers.

The location is excellent if you want to see Rome by foot. Being just the heart of Trastevere is perfect as its only a few minute walk and you are on the other side of the Tiber. The owner is nice and the communication is clear.

The facilities are aged, the toilet keeps running and you have to manually push the lever for it to stop. The shower doors barely work and there are excess buttons and display that don’t seem to work. The AC works and TV work fine though!

Very comfortable bed and pillow. Also, the bed is large for a single traveller. Took up a lot of the room, but was worth it. Location felt like a safe area. The manager went out of his way to accommodate my unexpectedly very late arrival. Breakfast was brought to my room at the time requested. There was a fridge in the room and drink-making facilities outside the room. Room great for a single.

The room was really nice! Very cozy bed, large bathroom and everything was clean and tidy. I really enjoyed the location, as Trastevere is always busy people and in walking distance from the city center. Last thing I need to mention, is the kindness of the owners. They were always 1 minute away when I wanted to ask them something and made me feel like home. I really wished I could stay more.... Highly recommending the room to all guests.

I booked a room in an apartment with other guests. It had a private bathroom and air conditioning. The air con was effective. There was a lift in the building so that helped with the heavy bag I had. It is a must to eat at the restaurant downstairs. Excellent beef fillet and seafood pasta. Nicolas the owner of Gio Suites was helpful , responsive and friendly. He let me leave my bag in the suite after checkout. The room is basic and clean in a nice area.

The lock on the bedroom door needs to be replaced. I was locked in for a minute until I forced it open. The lighting in the bathroom and the shower curtain needs to be replaced. The water drips into the bathroom because its carried with the shower curtain.

This was a great room really close to the central square in Trastevere. Great location next to a square where there are restaurants and other shops. The room was really nice, very clean, the bed very comfortable and had all the amenities one can ask for. There was also a jacuzzi which was a nice surprise! Nikos, the owner, was great, kind and very helpful. We arrived quite late at night (about 23:00) and he was there to welcome us and help us. He made us feel less anxious about the late check in because we were quite stressed about our late arrival which was also a bit delayed! But Nikos was there and quick to respond. It’s a very good choice if you want to stay in the beautiful historic Trastevere
