The Hotel was located within walking distance from the train station. Although you have to negotiate the many cobble stones. Not good for the wheels on your suitcase. The room was located in a quite part of the Hotel. They provided a very good selection of things for breakfast which was included in our accommodation package.

The bed was quite firm. The staff at the desk and door people could have been friendlier. The staff at the breakfast dining were very nice and friendly. It would have been helpful to have brochures in our room with attractions, things to do in the area.

The room was clean, large enough, with high ceilings, warm (even too warm, in January I had to open the window) and quiet. The location was great: close to the city center, bus station, metro and train station. Breakfast was super: good espresso/ capuccino and a large selection of baked goods and cold cuts, several hot dishes such as scrambled eggs, polenta and sausages. The terrace was a really good place for breakfast even in winter. Very cool hotel. It is not new, but in good condition. I felt like we were living in a real museum and it was an amazing experience. I really wouldn’t want this incredible atmosphere to be spoiled by modern renovations.

We stayed for several nights and one day our room was not cleaned. I understand that the cleaning lady may have had an off day, but I would have expected someone to at least take out the trash can. The mattress is not spring, it looks like it was made of latex. It is comfortable and soft enough, but if the sleeper is 90+ kg and sleeps peacefully without tossing and turning, the sleeper may experience some discomfort. Our opinions are divided. When I booked the hotel, I had no idea how great the location was; I booked it based on its proximity to the train station, but it's a short walk from the archaeological park and stunning Roman ruins. The staff were nice, but not overly joyful or smiley, which is fine as we had no issues with check in or check out. Breakfast is all right; avoided the eggs, as we're pretty sure they were powdered, but there was plenty of choice in terms of breads, deli meats, and pastries. It was a great place to come back to after wandering around the city all day. Overall, it was a pleasant time, and we enjoyed ourselves!

The hotel is old and starting to show its age; some of it is charming, some of it is a slight inconvenience. Like many reviewers, we found the bathroom fixtures dated, and some didn't work very well; the shower head sprayed up onto the ceiling instead of down into the tub, so we used the handheld showerhead. Children running or people slamming doors rattled the entire room, but I suppose that comes with the age of the building. The other thing is that if you're put in a street-facing room, the windows are not soundproofed — at all. We were on the side of the building where they load and unload sets for the opera house and a crew was loading equipment until midnight, motorbikes at 7am, and Friday and Saturday nights were noisy from the bars and restaurants in the area.

Nice selection for breakfast, but the breakfast area outside in the garden is absolutely beautiful!! The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms large with lovely walk in shower. Cleanliness very good too! All staff very helpful and friendly 👍

Not fresh coffee, all coffee came from an automatic press button selection. Would have been nicer to have freshly made Italian coffee.

Lovely old world hotel with high ceilings and very comfortable bed. Fantastic location and friendly staff. Great base for sightseeing with Colosseum, Trevi fountain and Spanish Steps within 20 mins walk. St Maria Maggiore basilica is a real treasure just 5 mins walk away, as is the central train station.

Could be more gluten free options - particularly at breakfast, as the buffet didn't have many options for coeliacs

This is a beautiful old hotel that has been modernized without taking away the charm. The AC worked very well as it was hot while we were there. The lobby, the room and the hotel in general was beautiful. The staff was super friendly and helpful in booking tours throughout Rome. The restaurant is second to none. We at there every day as well as outside restaurants and the one in the hotel was just as good if not better than others. It is close enough to walk to most tour spots.

The bed was a rock! That was absolutely the hardest bed I have ever slept on. The shower door was a bad design. That was all.

The Hotel Quirinale is in an excellent location. There are many restaurants, shops and attractions nearby. The Repubblica metro station can be reach in a few steps from the hotel. There is a bus stop crossing the street where you can get buses that go directly to Piazza Venezia and The Vatican. The hotel has an old style that kept its charm. The staff is very friendly, specially Grazziela, that receives you at the restaurant in the morning.

On the first night, I was in a room on the 2nd floor near the Via Nazionale (the main street where the hotel is located). The room had poor acoustic insulation and I couldn't sleep as I'm very sensitive to noise pollution. I complained to the hotel manager and I changed to another room on a higher floor with much better soundproof windows. Then it was perfect. The breakfast could have more options for people with allergies. There are different options for milk (natural and plant based), but the eggs are prepared with milk, which is not a good option for people allergic to dairy products. Opportunities for improvement: replace old windows with soundproof models; more options for people with milk and other allergies in the breakfast.

Great location, just close to train station. Very comfortable and spacious room. Large bathroom, but bathtub in out was very dangerous. Bathtub height was o one normal and there were no safety rail. Despite that, bathroom were up to date. Very good breakfast. Lobby and floor rugs are a little outdated. Over all good value for money.

No safety handrails in an above average height bathtub.

The location was amazing! Great staff, the breakfast everyday was perfect and it was an overall great stay.
