Perfect location( close to all the important saits with walking distance). Very friendly staff (if you need informations ask at the reception they will help you for sure ). Clean room( they come every day for cleaning and change towels). Value for money . Espresso machine in the room for morning coffee. Also they can store your suitcases at the checkout if you have to spend more ours before you go

No key for the elevator (we had to carry our suitcase with the sters) luckily it was at the first floor. The room needs renovations specially the shower floor and the door ( there was a crack at the door and we can see outside) . Also not a big problem but the first day there was capsules and one use cups for coffee, the second day only capsules and the third day neither of them .

For what you can expect in Rome, this accommodation exceeded my expectations. Location is great, even though room overlooks busy Via Nazionale it is quiet, bed is comfortable and the bathroom is decent. Sights and attractions are at a walking distance. The place is old fashioned, but hey you get what you pay for and most importantly the bed is good and the bathroom is decent. TV actually works with one touch, which I appreciate in hotels. The only extra is a Nespresso machine with capsules included, which I used for making hot water for tea, so kettle was sorted. If i traveled alone I would repeat.

Everything was pretty much up to expectations, so I cannot complain. Reception is at the Golden Tulip hotel, about 5 min walk away. Which is understandable for such few rooms it may not worth maintaining a fully functional reception.

the room was nice and bathroom was nice. the room had a balcony but it faced the alley. the location was great!

the check in process was not what was expected. the taxi charged 48 euro to bring me to the hotel location. there was no one on site representing the hotel. the man in the reception for hotel miami was very helpful in letting me know what to do and that i would need to check in at the other hotel site. This needs to be listed when you book the room. The elevator was out and had to take the stairs with my suitcase. these were really the only issues.

This hotel was so clean and comfortable for us. We never use bus,train or taxi for where we want to go. Because location was good. We had hot water every time and towels enough. hotel has not slippery and keetle for guest in room, Just we didnt like this. Reception on different place but its okay because so near hotel. I could prefer again. Staff was so kindly.

once I found it, it was very pretty.

how hard it was to find. going to another location to check in, which was labeled in small writing Hotel Piram under a huge sign that said Tulip Grove. once I was finally checked in I was told to go out and turn left and left again. that wasn’t correct it was further than just two turns and it was labeled Hotel Miami. it’s only when I got to the 4th floor did I find anything that said Hotel Regina Giovanna. even then it was a locked door to three apartments. it was very unclear.

Check in was at the Golden Tulip Piram which is opposite the Termini and the stop for the open top buses. They included an excellent buffet breakfast and a complimentary cocktail for each night booked. The Regina Giovannia was a 7/8 min walk away in a very convenient central location, ideal for walking to all the attractions. All the staff were exceptional. Excellent value for money! 🙂

There was a slight drainage smell in the bathroom, but this is very common in European hotels. In the shared areas of the building the paint and plaster were peeling which could be off-putting at first but doesn't detract from the room

Booked a single room arrived to a double. Great location for walking distance to most attractions. Area felt safe as a solo female traveller

Air con didn't work. Had no major issues but strange not having a manned hotel.

location in the middle of all sites about 20 minutes walk to Trevi fountain and colosseum. close to a train station to get to the Vatican. We arrived at Roma termini and checked in at the golden tulip hotel Piram which was a short 5 minutes walk. Maximiliano was amazing checking us in, we only had to wait 2 minutes for keys, and he told us to sit at their bar and enjoy two huge glasses of Prosecco and snacks while we waited. this was such an amazing welcome to Rome!! then another short 5 minute walk to our room. we loved it.

the toilet had a slight leak which was a bit noisy at night

Location was great - 10 to 20 minutes (walking) to the most popular locations and sightseeing points. Also - pharmacy, some restaurants, Irish pub and small gift shops were right next to the hotel. It was very quiet, despite that our window faced the street. Bed was comfortable and room was very clean. It had a TV with nice music channels and a coffee machine. :)

At some point it got very hot and it seemed that the AC is not really working. There was a wind sound, but it did not get any cooler. The place had a distinct weird smell every time we got back. But after 5minutes you don't feel it anymore! I don't really know what was it (maybe the not really working AC).

Location was great. Very clean and quiet room. Pub across road and lots of restaurants nearby. Staff at hotel where you check in very pleasant.

Stairs could do with a bit of refresh but not a major issue
