Absolutely brilliant location! A two minute walk from the station. Most of the major attractions are only a short bus ride/walk away. Roberto the host is really helpful with directions and made us feel welcome. The apartments are clean and well appointed. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend. A little gem.

Location is very good, the bed is comfortable, the price is fair

Check-in is not easy without clear instructions. When we arrived the address, we couldn’t get in because not knowing the hotel on which floor. Though the manager tried to text me at last minute, I didn’t have internet access to get her text. Why couldn’t she send me the instructions before my trip?

The room was spacious, spotless, and most importantly, very quiet, and the bed was very comfortable. They do not serve cooked breakfast but there was fruit and snacks and most Importantly, a serve-yourself Nespresso machine with fresh milk. It’s two blocks from the main train station, and while it’s not the most picturesque neighborhood, you can’t beat the convenience if you have a train to catch.

It was a little tricky to find the place, there is no sign, but if you know the street number and the fact that you have to take the elevator to the fifth floor, you will be fine. The elevator was tiny and a little scary if you are not used to European ones, but it did the job.

I loved everything during our stay! The hosts are amazing, we had a lovely breakfast every morning and they prepared the coffee for us every morning exactly as we like. The location is very convenient (5 min from Termini station, metro and various bus stops), in 15-20 minutes you can even reach the Forum by foot. The beds and cushions are also amazing and I never rested this well on any vacation. The rooms were super clean and we got fresh towels daily. Definitely would recommend it! + the host prepared for us a little breakfast box the day we were leaving since we had a morning flight :)

Everything was amazing for us and I would note just a few things others should know before booking: the property is small with only 4 rooms and it provides a cosy atmosphere, the breakfast is typical Italian with cookies, toast, sweets and coffee and it is served in the common kitchenette, in the end, the neighbourhood is not very lively at night and you can encounter strange people (like in every big city), however, we had no problems and felt safe.

The host was very nice and accommodating! Our flight got in late so we had to take the last train out there. She was able to let us in even though it was technically after check-in hours. The room was on the smaller size but very clean and the bed was comfortable. We loved that it was extremely close to the metro. If I'm ever in the region again I wouldn't mind staying here.

Since they were so tiny there wasn't an official place to store our luggage however we were able to leave our luggage in the "lobby". The area itself is a bit sketchy but we had no problems at all getting to or from the place.

Affordable luxury in a lovely part of Rome very close to Termini. This place is an oasis of calm which is just what we needed as part of a long hot holiday! It is on the top floor of an historic building with marble stairs and an elevatior. Extremely quiet! The decor is beautiful. The mattresses and pillows are incredible. The shower is amazing. The kitchen a real bonus. Roberto and his sister are kindness and professionalism personified. The communication was outstanding. Everything is well organised re: keys and access. You can even leave your luggage there after check out. If you manage to book a night here you are very lucky 😍

Maybe the aircon in 101 could be stronger.

The locate was great, right near the Roma Termini and with walking distance of a lot of the ancient sites. The room was clean and spacious for European standards.. We had a late check in after 22.00. Roberto was very helpful and the break room was a bonus. Would definitely recommend for two female travellers. Ristorante Alfredo downstairs had delicious food.

We have had an amazing experience at Relais Aquarium. Firstly, the location is 300m/2 blocks away from the main train/bus/metro station, Termini, so you can reach any of your sightseeing destinations real quick. One of the owners, Simona, was so kind as to recommend many interesting places to my friend and me to visit, as well as Rome's most delicious and affordable restaurants and bakeries. She was also such a lovely and funny company during breakfast every morning :)  Our room was spacious with a comfy queen bed for two, AC for heating (we visited at the end of November) and constantly running/unlimited hot water in the shower (no water-heater). It was spotless when we came in, and it has also been cleaned every day. Our breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of sweet stuff to choose from (cakes, cookies, croissants, nutella, jams, etc.), which is traditional in Italy. In addition to that, Simona was extremely kind to especially prepare savory sandwiches for us, which we have been very grateful for :) All in all - when we visit Rome again, we will be staying here again.

I stayed here twice now and each time it was lovely. The owners communicate well and take great care of the property. The rooms are clean, very much up to date and the bed is comfortable to sleep on after a long day of sightseeing. They offer typical italian breakfast with a nice selection or sweet treats. I've read about the walls being thin but like mentioned before, I stayed here twice - each time the property was fully occupied - and I've never heard the other guests. Location is amazing too!

Relais Aquarium was very well located, being a short walk from the train station. We used the metro to get to various sights. Our room was very clean. The use of the kitchen, with a continental breakfast supplied for your convenience was excellent especially since we had travelled from Florence and breakfast could cost 40 euro for two. Simone was very helpful with information and allowed us to leave our bags after checkout. We would definitely recommend and stay again ourselves.
