Much more value for money than we expected... lovely room with a view of Santa Maria Magiore bell tower, comfortable beds and very well equipped with all you might need. There is a coffee machine with a selection of hot beverages in the room as well as a small fridge. There is also a common kitchen with a dining area where you can prepare and enjoy your meals and a large fridge where you can also keep your food. Everything was very clean and tidy, rooms attended to on a daily basis and taken care of. When we booked a room there was no option of breakfast, but every morning they hang a bag with a freshly baked pastry on the door knob for each guest. They also left dome fruit yoghurts and bottled water in the fridge and some biscuits and savoury nibbles on the coffee table. The staff were just wonderful...friendly, polite, welcoming and very responsive...we felt at home. The receptionist kindly explained to us all the details and showed us around and the cleaning lady was amazing...helpful and hospitable...greeting us with a big and genuine smile, inviting us to choose our pastries from the selection she was going to pack for the guests, but saw us leaving the room before she got around to it. They really tdke care of their guests with lots of attention to details. I read in some of the previous reviews that the place was difficult to find, but that wasn't our experience. The inn is situated on the 2nd and 3rd floor of a building and it is easy to find on the map, even there is no big sign outside. Once you enter the building, there is a receptionist (not the hotel one, but general) who points you in the right direction. There is an elevator big enough for four persons. They do not have a 24 hour reception, so you get your set of 3 keys (room,floor and front door) to keep with you till the end of your stay.

Not a dislike but a tip...the pillows are rather flat so if you prefer a higher one you might need to ask for an extra one and if you are a light sleeper you might need a room with a back garden view as the ones of the Santa Maria view are facing a road that gets busy in thr morning, but is rather quiet for the rest of the day and almost completely empty at night.

Perfect place in a rather good location. Termini station and Metro just around the corner. Antique Rome attractions within a walking distance (eg.Colloseum-15 min walk). We got a beautiful, cosy room od the second floor with a city view. Everything was fantastic. Comfortable bed and and pillows, fresh towels, clean bathroom. Amazing, friendly and helpful staff. Sweet italian snacks served to your room for breakfast. Tea or coffee available whenever you want in the kitchen.

Only noisy street outside even if you close the windows and blinds- but it,s Rome - a large city centre :)

Staff were so friendly and helpful giving clear instructions on the room and letting me know that I could ask them more questions if needed. Room was large and air con was great. Really beautifully decorated and really appreciated private ensuite. Also it’s so close to Roma Termini train station and an amazing park which had film, poetry, dance, and music all going at once.

It’s on a side street in the city and I didn’t know how safe it was at night - I ended up being totally fine but I wouldn’t recommend staying out too late.

It was at times difficult to access reception staff (eg when we initially arrived when no one was behind the 2nd floor reception and when we left our luggage there on day of checkout and we didn't have the keys to the front door). We in the end called using WhatsApp

Nice, cozy, very clean apartments with super friendly staff. They helped us with everything we needed and made our stay very comfortable, 5 stars plus for them. The Inn has a shared kitchen on each floor, where you can serve a coffee and have breakfast. Location is very good, just couple of min of walk from Termini and a 10-15 min walk from major touristical locations. We felt like home, loved our stay in Rome.

Can get a bit noisy due to the fact that it has big windows facing the main street, but wearing earplugs solved the problem.

We booked the Junior Suite and it was very good! It was very clean, we received breakfast every morning and the fridge was constantly restocked for free! Their service was perfect, always available via WhatsApp and fast responses! There is a bus stop right in front of the accommodation and a supermarket very close by

The airconditioner didn’t work perfectly but we contacted them via WhatsApp and everything worked out in the end.

Complimentary croissants and fruit yoghurt for breakfast. A kitchenette with 24/7 access to a coffee machine and tea. Coffee was exceptional! Very friendly staff. Location was also good. You can go to the sites on foot easily. On our last day, we left our stuff at the hotel and picked it up on our way to the Termini station, which is literally 5min away. I'd definitely return and I'd recommend it to my friends.

Double bed was actually 2 single beds brought together and I'd say the walls are a bit too thin.

The staff was cooperative , Rooms were clean and cleaned daily , They left breakfast pastries daily and there were plenty of flavoured yogurts , teas and coffees available everyday. We got complementary prosecco for beds mix up which was also fixed once we let the staff know

Not much , just the two single beds were uncomfy and we slept 3 out of our 5 nights on it . The very sweet gesture of leaving the breakfast on door handles could be improved little in terms of variety.

We enjoyed our stay at Santamaria Inn. Staff were friendly. There were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room, but we could use the communal dining area which had a small kitchen for preparing basic meals, tea, coffee etc. We just loved the special touch of fresh pastries/croissants in the morning plus complimentary Coca-Cola, water and yoghurt in the mini-bar. Very central and close to the tourist attractions and some good restaurants in the area. A few minutes walk from Rome Termini train station.

A kettle to make tea/coffee first thing in the morning, in the room, would be great.

Lovely, welcoming staff and a really nicely decorated room with a small fridge. The bathroom was very nicely done and everything perfectly clean. They generously provided yoghurts, snacks and water in the room, and in the morning they'd hang a bag of fresh croissants/pastries on the door handle! In the kitchen we could make ourselves unlimited cups of tea and coffee, and had access to a microwave.
