My stay was quite pleasant. The location was convenient, the room was clean, and the staff were friendly. Overall, it was a good experience.

While my stay was generally enjoyable, it would be helpful if breakfast could be served a bit earlier, as it would accommodate guests with early morning plans. Additionally, there were a few things in the bathroom that could be improved for added comfort.

This place was exactly what it is a described to be. An affordable budget room in a good location in Rome. Honestly the host of the place was so kind and friendly, the room was comfortable, the air conditioning worked great and the shower was nice. This is all we need for a quick stay in Rome. It was basic and efficient and a 5 minutes walk from the train station. I have no complaints what so ever about the value for the price.

Very friendly and helpful host. The location was spot on. Convenient for arriving from the airport and close enough to walk to many of the landmarks. The Basilica of St Mary was just a couple of minutes up the street. If you're a park runner the location is perfect for Caffarella park run. Take the metro from Vittorio Emanuele a few stops to Colli Albeni and it's ten mins from there. The air con was really effective for those warm Rome days, and nights. Plenty of eateries close by. Breakfast was a simple but brilliant start to the day. Hot drink, juice, fancy pastry and Italian style toast/crispbread. Warm and friendly breakfast service.

Brilliant value, nothing we didn't like

From the location of the hotel, to the friendliness of the staff, everything was excellent. My daughter and I felt very safe & secure during our stay at this property. We had Italian breakfast in the mornings, which was just enough to get us going for the day! Federico was an amazing host and provided us with a map and things to see in the city, along with suggestions for modes of transportation. I'd highly recommend this hotel and I would definitely stay here again if I come to Rome again.

Nothing. Everything was great.

From the moment we arrived the owner was super nice and attentive. The location is incredible being so close to Roma termini but also, close to a lot of the main atractions. which meant we truly walked everywhere! The italian breakfast that they included was delicious! And the staff was always antentive and trying to give recomentations.

The elevator of the building was scary, but being in a second floor we just walked up and down the stairs (except when carrying our suitcases)

The place maybe be tiny, but it is neat, clean and the location is excellent, i.e. right next to Santa Maria Church. Pretty much all the sights to see are close by. Plus the metro line is right next door. It is a mere 10 mins from Termini station. The most exceptional aspect of the place were its staff, ever helpful, polite and willing to go the extra mile. I would love to go back and get to know the city and the wonderful staff at Buonarotti Home a little better.

Everything was great.

Great location very close to Roma Termini, well serviced by buses and had Cavour + Vittorio Emmanuel within 10min walk for metro. Santa Maria Maggiore is just 5min walk away, and Trevi / Pantheon within walking distance too (can pass by Trevi picking up Roma Pass from Via Marco Minghetti, which is quite nice). Room interior decor is neat and the breakfast croissant was consistently delicious

The building's elevator doors were noisy

The staff were very helpful and friendly throughout - we really appreciated being able to leave our luggage at the hotel whilst we explored for the day on the last day and also being able to bring our bikes upstairs one night. Good value for money and enjoyed the breakfast. Also very helpful to have extra towels on the day that we went to the beach. Room and beds were comfortable, great air conditioning and lots of storage space.

Our room was quite near the dining area and it was quite loud early in the morning even though breakfast wasn't served until 8. Not sure what you could do to change this - it's just an observation. The shower head was a bit difficult to control in our room (10). Might be worth having a look at but not a major issue and was usable.

Had a really wonderful stay at Buonarroti Home, the staff and facilities were very great!

Only thing to consider about the property, the neighborhood is a little more rough so try to be home by 11pm. I didn't have any problems but I saw some smashed car windows when I went for my 5am run. This does not affect my recommendation, you should be in bed early and up early anyways to enjoy Rome with minimal crowds!

The location was great - 5 min from Termini station and 2 min from a metro station. Staff was helpful. Although there was no heater in the room, the air conditioning did a good job in heating the space. Overall the value for the money we paid was pretty good.

The breakfast consisted of a croissant or something sweet + coffee. This was not bad and although this seems to be common practice in Italy, it would be nice to expand the choice. Small heads up: the hotel consists of the 2nd floor in an old building. The common area is not that well maintained, but the hotel's area is perfectly normal and clean :)
