Everything was good! Good staff good owners! Every day we had fresh linens and towels for the bathroom and the staff would clean and desinfect every corner of the room and especially the bathroom. The location of the BNB was very central. Only some minutes away from almost everything. I would totally recommend it to friends and family of mine.

Unfortunately because it was a BNB the other tourists were a bit loud and some of them very rude. But that was not the fault of the owners. Just lousy people who don't know how to behave like human beings.

Very good breakfast, Valeria made for us fresh omelate every morning, nice hospitality in general.

It was super close to rome termini station which was very convenient. Nice little neighbourhood which wasn’t touristy and had good restaurants and cafes. The beds were very comfortable and the AC was quiet and effective. We had great sleep here! The breakfast was amazing, very simple but fresh cooked omelettes and pastries and great coffee. The best part of our stay was the warm welcome and hospitality of Valeria the housekeeper who helped us to settle in and gave great advice about rome. She also allowed us to leave our bags on the last day so we could make the most of the trip. Extremely friendly and kind.

It’s a bit dated in decoration but no big deal.

We enjoyed the breakfast every morning prepared by our lovely hostess. We appreciated her recommendations. La Vecchia Roma restaurant was one of the best meals we had in Rome. We also appreciated that she spoke to us in Italian so we could practice. Location was great and walking distance to a lot of the main attractions. The room was very clean and she cleaned our room daily. She also helped to organize travel to the Vatican for us and arranged a pick up from the airport. Grazie mille! .

Location is on a major route, so there is traffic all the time, day or night. As long as you are prepared for it, it isn't too bad. I sleep through it, but my wife had more issues. Kitchen is tight for a family of four, when you have 6 other guests in the same room.

Well positioned to buses and metro in a traditional building behind huge doors, this accommodation is good for a few days stay. We enjoyed the breakfasts. The rooms are on the first floor and there's an incredible old-style lift to get there with luggage. Otherwise it is easy just to walk up, but the lift works well too. Just remember to close the door! The rest of the building is ordinary apartments I think, so it gives a good idea of how the average person lives in Rome. Staff were friendly and helpful and we enjoyed our stay. The property isn't well marked (probably due to the above) so you need to look closely for the name near the huge, studded door and it is on a side road where not much else is, but very close to a busier through road. Our room faced that road, but noise wasn't a problem.

Arco di Gallieno was well located and within walking distance of the ancient Roman sites. The booking process was straightforward and queries answered promptly. The host, Andrea, was very friendly and helpful. His delightful domestic staff, Valeria prepared a full breakfast that was delizioso. The cleanliness of rooms was faultless. The hot water was set to just the right temperature for showering hence saving energy. This I admire. We received good advice about staying safe whilst out in the city. I will recommend Arco Di Gallieno to my friends travelling to Rome needing a good value for money B&B.

Street noise a distraction despite double glazed windows but to he expected in a large bustling city.

Andrea helped us booking a transport from the airport at night when we arrived to Rome, the driver was waiting for us when we collected our luggage. The accomodation was perfect. Our room was cleaned every day, we got clean towels as well and cold water was put in to our fridge. Valeria was really kind to us every morning and made a perfect cappuccino to start the day. Our first morning Valeria gave us really helpful instructions what sights should we visit first in what order and how to get there. Overall they made our holiday absolutely perfect and we'll definitely book again here when we get back to Rome.

The hosts were so kind an accomodating! Really wonderful breakfast and the bed was the most comfortable during our entire trip. It was located central and close to the collosseum.

Since it was located on the first floor by a busy street there was a lot of street noise even with the windows closed.

Clean, spacious room. Perfect location with only a 10min walk to termini station and 15-20min walk to colosseum and other major sights. Wonderful host prepared omelette and coffee daily. Our bedroom had external private bathroom, we had no issues with this at all!

The star of the show was Valeria. She was an amazing host and couldnt do enough for us. Full of knowledge, extremely friendly and thoughtful. We arrived early and left late which was no problem what so ever, The room and the beds were comfy. Aircon available. Room was a nice size for 3 on a short break. The location was great for us, walking distance to most main attractions, particularly the Colosseum and Termini Station. Also a short walk to the Tourist bus stops. Breakfast was great; pastries, coffees, teas, hot chocolate, toast, omelet, boiled eggs, cereal and yogurts etc. Fantastic short break and we would definitely stay again if we revisit Rome.

Only fault, would be the slightly dated bathroom, but fully functional and no problems.
