This was the first time my wife and I visited Rome. So, we selected this hotel only based on our best guesses & published reviews. It turned out to be a good choice. Upon our arrival at this hotel we were greeted warmly, and this attitude continued over our four-day stay. Rooms were clean and cozy. The weather in Rome was very hot (peaking 102F/39C every day) but the rooms were pleasantly cool. The reception staff (particularly Ms Lyuba, Ms Michelle & Mr Gianluca) patiently provided answers to our questions about where to go and what to see, and were responsive to our request for room service. The variety of breakfast items was very comprehensive and the serving staff were helpful. In summary, a positive & pleasant experience.

I could not fault this hotel from the position to the room. It was absolutely perfect for a 2 night stay. Great welcome and helpful staff. Friendly faces. Had issues with WiFi access on my phone and the chef fixed it as hd happened to be in the office at the time, as front staff didn't know how.

If you need a business centre, there isn't one. No access to TV channels in english other than 3 news channels. You can charge your phone by usb at back of TV if you don't have a plug. Be careful to order any room service as it comes with a €10 euro extra charge per order.

Style and design was close to classic / aristocratic and looked elegant, building is relatively old with old ceilings with vaults giving special charm to this hotel. The number had everything you need and even more - designed with wooden furniture, good bathroom with real bath and even bidet, nice curtains. Classic breakfast with scrumbled eggs, bacon, slices of cheese, ham etc and at the same time flakes, milk, pastry and others - depending what who wants. Location of the hotel itself is very convenient as it is piece of quiet and at the same time close to the city downtown surrounded by busy streets and close to two subway stations (around 10min walk to each) - from one side - Republika, and from another one - Barberini. Once we had dinner at the hotel and the restaurant and the food were very nice. Cleaning was daily. Even fresh newspapers at the lobby were updated daily.

We had to sign some document during check-in, which is I believe is simple formality but it had quite some list of points, I had to tick some checkboxes and the whole document was in Italian. I had to sign but I would prefer to understand the document I sign, even if it's smth formal, and if to take into account this is hotel and many of the visitors don't speak Italian would be great if this document can be translated into English

Hotel location is superb, all attractions are 15-20 minutes on foot and Vatican is just 15 minutes ride using Metro which is near by and it was free on the weekend. Beds and room itslef are commfy and even slippers were provided. Staff does very good job to keep rooms clean and help visitors at the reception. Breakfast was very good and cofee americano is really well made. Also we were pleased by excellent dinner at hotel's restaurant and their other recomendation La Pentolaccia which is just 5 minutes away was also awesome.

Internet connection was a bit slow and not intuitive to connect and room itslef was a bit dated but nevertheless very clean, comfortable and totally worth the price.

the restaurant was quite good. what we liked most was the Staff. all were great but in particular Lulani (sp?) and Marcos were very helpful and a joy to interact with. i did not get the names of the others who we also interacted with but all were excellent. the location was very convenient.

it did not appear to offer an a la carte breakfast option as we just wanted coffee and a pastry and not a buffet. with so much food at lunch and dinner a big breakfast just does not work.

Clean and warm room with high pressure shower. Breakfast buffet has allergen menus which is appreciated as someone with food allergies. Food selection is good with plenty of cereals, breads, and warm foods. Our room was upgraded free of charge and the mattresses had just been replaced so were very comfy! Staff were all friendly and helpful. Good location within walking distance of Termini Station. Reception gave us a map and guidance on how to get to the main sites from the hotel which was useful.

Some cosmetic damage to the wallpaper/bathroom. Beans would be a good addition to the breakfast buffet!

What amazing staff at this hotel, all very helpful and welcoming. New Year's Eve dinner in the hotel restaurant was excellent, both in the food presented as well as the attentive service by Emanuel and Antonio. Wonderful and very varied breakfast spread. The location is within walking distance of the centre, and reception staff (too many to name) were very helpful in calling a taxi for going to the Vatican and Trastevere which are 10 minutes drive away. Many genuine eateries in the vicinity of the hotel for meals and a glass of vino. The hotel courtyard is very pleasant and with a great wine list to round off the evening. Highly recommended. We had a great time there.

Difficult to find fault with this hotel, however very minor issues were that the bathrobes and slippers were not in the room as described on booking.com but had to be requested. They were delivered very quickly upon request. A corkscrew was in the room but wine glasses were not allowed.

Hotel was in a great location and the staff were lovely

The road it’s on is up hill so just have to bare that in mind when it’s really hot and your walking from town to your hotel

The hotel is lovely and has character. The staff were what made the hotel stay amazing though as each one of them made us feel welcome and were exceptionally helpful! The room was perfectly sized with windows that could open all the way. The bathroom was well equipped. The restaurant food was delicious!

The breakfast is basic but sufficient as long as you avoid the pastries and bread which were not fresh. The hair dryer wasn't any good. The bed was a bit too hard for me but my partner loved it.

We loved this hotel, it's a gem in the centre of a busy city and has an air of old-fashioned charm and courteous service. The staff were fantastic and very helpful. Big bonus in mid-summer, the rooms are air-conditioned. Another bonus - there's an excellent pizza restaurant around the corner, about 2 mins' walk at most. When we're in Rome again, we'll definitely be back.
