The location was absolutely beautiful and had wonderful views overlooking Vesuvius, Naples and the coastline. It is a little away from the centre (around a 25 minute walk) but this was perfect for us as we wanted somewhere quiet and close to a wedding venue we were going to. We had breakfast there every morning and the food was so fresh and delicious and there was a lot to choose from. We also ate lunch there a couple of times enjoying the views from terrace and one evening shared a bottle of Prosecco while enjoying the sunset. The staff were very attentive and kind and we felt very welcomed from the moment we stepped into the hotel. Our room was really clean and the bathroom was really spacious. Air conditioning was brilliant and really welcomed after being outside in the heat of the summer sun!

Absolutely everything was 10/10. The staff are so wonderful and accommodating, all the recommendations and the boat trip that Gabrielle booked for us were fantastic. The breakfast was delicious, so many options. The room was spacious and clean. Hotel Villa Garden made our stay in Sorrento unforgettable and we will most definitely be back next year. I would recommend this hotel to anybody who wants to stay in Sorrento, it was wonderful. See you soon!

Location, friendliness and helpfulness of every staff member are beyond expectations. This is a family owned and operated hotel, since it was started by the grandmother of the current owners. Their pride in this hotel shows up everywhere from room cleanliness to directions to poolside drink and food service. so, if you are traveling to the Amalfi Coast, this is the hotel to stay at. On a 5-Star rating, this hotel deserves 10 Stars!!

There is nothing to dislike about this hotel

The location was perfect for our excursions to Pompeii, Capri and the Amalfi coast, but also ideal when you wanted to relax by the pool because it was so quiet being location just outside of Sorrento town centre. The best part was the staff, who are always offering great recommendations and willing to help!

Our only comment, which is a very minor point, would be that we would have liked a larger variety of soft drink options, for example milkshakes and smoothies.

Beautifully positioned hotel overlooking the cliff and the ocean. Staff are very accomodating and friendly. We felt very spoilt here. Excellent breakfast and very comfortable bed. Amazing panoramic bar for cocktails and aperitif’s (book through the hotel). Pool and surroundings are gorgeous and you can order food/drinks during your stay.

It is a 30 min walk into town (but this also makes it a lovely quiet area) or 25-30 euro in cab. Be aware of this.

The hotel was beautiful and it was a great location right by the water! The staff were also generous and kind as they made us feel very comfortable. The hotel also included a breakfast buffet which was a nice addition to our stay (it was delicious paired with a nice view of the water). If we return to Sant’ Agnello, we will definitely stay here again.

Everything! The staff are brilliant, so friendly and very helpful. The food in the restaurant is amazing and the cocktails are just as amazing! The pool area is lovely and clean, towels provided too. Room was massive with a lovely little terrace. Would definitely come back!

Nothing. Only downside I’d say is our room was near the reception… so you could hear the staff in the morning or people checking out early. But that’s it!

beautiful location. easily walkable to sorrento and great restaurants very close by. the staff is exceptional, beds are comfortable, and everything is so clean. we enjoyed the breakfast every morning and aperitivo overlooking the sunset in the evenings. definitely hope to come back again

I couldn’t fault anything in our stay here! The setting was magical , beautiful and peaceful, and the accommodation was maintained in a pristine manner. All staff was superb ... a family run business that was exemplary in every aspect. We would definitely recommend Hotel Villa Garden to others visiting this part of Italy. My husband and I will cherish the wonderful memories of our stay there, our time in Sant’Agnello, our daily strolls to Sorrento and our trips to surrounding locations and islands. Thank you to everyone at Hotel Villa Garden!

when staying here there wasn’t one bad thing I could say about the hotel, everything was perfect!

the only thing I have to say was on the last night we had a set menu and watched fireworks to celebrate the Italian holiday which was lovely. but I would look to change your menu it was very fancy foods, to fancy in fact we didn’t really enjoy the meal. we did get asked if we would like something different which was good and was happy after but if you were to do it in the future I would look to make the menu more traditional and less quirky
