Lovely hotel, nice rooms that are clean and fresh, friendly hosts, good breakfast and a great location walking distance from Sorrento and close to the bus and train station.

*Important to mention - the hotel is a 4* not a 2* as can be seen online We arrived a bit late in the evening as as we were taking out bags up the stairs into the lobby we were greeted by a very prominent " Buona Sera! " (Good evening) accompanied by a warm welcoming face. Marco (who we later found out is the director of the property) was one of the hilights of our stay! The room was spacious, had a little terrace with tables and chairs. Fully equipped with all amenities you may need during your stay. Bathroom was roomy and was recently renovated. Also includes a bidet. Breakfast was all you could desire - hams, salami, chees, eggs, salads, cereals and a large variety of cakes (do try the lemon and orange cakes!). Seating was inside the hotel or outside by the lemon and citrus tree garden. The best part of waking up for breakfast... I'm not kidding... Marco's "Buon Giornos" and his coffees ... Once you finish your coffee you will see him table side, smiling and eager to make you another to kick start your day. Our holiday was mainly to the Amalfi coast but didn't find any issue staying here. Sorrento is just a 3 minute bus ride away (1 euro per person) or 1 stop by the Circumvessiuviana train. We were worried about not staying in Sorrento at first buy once there, this was not at all an issue. Straight down from the hotel, there is a lovley belvedere offering one of the best amalfi susnets. Will we stay here again? YES. Thank you Marco for your amazing hospitality!

Excellent accommodation, had a great experience at this hotel, hotel had everything you need, the staff were very friendly Marco was very helpful couldn't do enough for us, very nice man and gave us some excellent tips for getting around. Location was perfect, quiet hotel in lovely town in Sant'Angnello only 15/20 min walk from Sorrento, but only a few minutes walk from buses and train station linking to Naples Airport, Amalfi Sorrento and Pompeii. We found a lovely bar in town Sant'Angnello caled Tony's bar, lovely family run pub went out of their way to make us feel at home and to make sure we will want to come back in near future, Tony was an absolute gentleman and his family were so nice and welcoming.

Staff is super friendly and always ready to help. I could use the parking without extra costs. The place is very clean and has a modern design. Room size is good and the bathroom is great, with a large shower room. Bed is comfortable. In regard to location, it's about 10-15 minute walk from the city centre. It's a flat and scenic walk, thus completely bearable.

Breakfast had delicious cakes, but we felt the options of breads, pastries and deli was a bit lacking. Coffee was fresh though. In general not fabulous, but still good enough to start the day.

The location was a 20-25 minute walk to Sorrento.. and the Port. It was Close to the bus stop if you choose not to walk.. $40 euro taxi fee from the Port back to the Hotel.. IMO I thought this was excessive but agreed to pay.. I was tired and didn't want to walk or take the bus. We used this location as a staging point for the Port Of Sorrento for a day trip to Capri.. Breakfast was very nice...

The rooms were very clean, The owner Marco was very hospitable and very helpful. He called taxis for me and also guided me on directions very clear. He made the best cappuccinos!!

The breakfast could have had more options, as I am not a cake person, but wished for more fruit selections, eg. bananas and berry selections. You can hear talking in other rooms or shutting doors in the hallway. I think it would need carpet in the hallways for sound absorption. Otherwise, it was a very nice place. Will be returning.

The couple that runs the property "make" the property! They are delightful and so willing to help. I didn't really have a good idea of where the property was in relation to the surroundings when I booked. Way more urban than I thought it was going to be. Not a problem, just not what I had expected. Easy walk to good restaurants. Easy walk down the street to the coast and a view of Mt. Vesuvius. There is also a terrace on top, but we didn't really have time to use it.

The location was perfect - a 5 min walk to the station where it’s one stop to Sorrento. The train also goes to Pompeii and Vesuvius. The owner Marco was very helpful in recommending local, family run restaurants. It was clean and modern - felt very welcome. Breakfast - a European style with cakes, croissants, ham, cheese, cereal etc. Do get a room with a balcony - well worth it

Nothing - would stay again

Marco and his colleague were really great. Ready to help at any time whatsoever. They helped us book a boat trip and accepted kindly every request from us. The breakfast is also rich and tasty. It's enough I would say as a first meal of the day. The rooms are clean. The hotel is positioned near the bus station (200m) and near the Sant Agnello beach (1km). Totally recommend this place.

The room keys need to be dropped at the reception when you leave while staying there. The TV has only a couple of Italian channels. This could be improved. Our room had no balcony and was small...but you get what you pay. The booking price was good.

Hotel Angelina was exactly what we were looking for. It is newly renovated, very modern and spacious. We thought it was great value for money. Marco was exceptionally pleasant to deal with. The location is a 25 minute walk to the centre of Sorrento, however the train stop is less than 5 mins and the beach club is 10 mins walk.

We thought the breakfast selection was quite limited with a large number of sweet offerings. However, it was definitely sufficient for a bite to eat before heading out for the day. I also found the room/hotel quite loud with echos but this is purely due to the marble used throughout the building.
