Extraordinary location on the outskirts of beautiful Siena with absolute tranquility. Thanks to the old castle you feel back in the Middle Age era. However, with all the necessary comfort of the modern age. It was nice walking in the surrounding large garden in the morning. Breakfast was like for nobility, the owner is a neat person. Air conditioning available, as well as kitchen and fridge. Parking is just outside the castle. A very romantic place. The price was really worth this exciting experience.

Wi-Fi connection was rather weak on one of the floors.

It’s a very special place, belongs to a very sweet family. An old, antique castle, taken out of a movie. The rooms are simple, clean and big, and the kitchen has everything you need. My children loved it, it is surrounded by beautiful fields and nature. The breakfast was WONDERFUL, the grandmother that lives in the castle served it to us in the upstairs breakfast room. She was so nice and we enjoyed it very much. The family owns a restaurant about 15 min drive from the castle. It was BY FAR the best dinner we had on our vacation and it is highly recommended.

We are a family of 4, Our apartment had a bedroom with a comfortable bed, and another sofa bed. Honestly, you cannot sleep on this sofa bed. It is really uncomfortable and should be replaced. The place doesn’t not have an air condition, although it states differently. We visited the castle on April, and it was pretty cool. On summer time It would probably bother me more.

The castle was a wonderful addition to our journey. It is a unique historical building surrounded by olive groves. The castle itself is not big but it offers an adjacent nice garden to enjoy. Our suite was very spacious with amazing views of Tuscan rolling hills, which felt magical. The breakfast was great: cappuccino, charcuterie, yoghurt, jams, everything you need to start a sightseeing day in Siena.

The family suite bathroom could use some upgrading, fixtures looked quite outdated. The check in process could be streamlined to allow more flexibility. it's hard to estimate the exact time of arrival.

This was a fantastic experience, felt like living in a real castle. We have stayed in several castles and some feel very touristy. This is not the case with Castello Delle Quatro Torra which feels like travelling back in time!! We particularly enjoyed being allowed to visit one of the towers and were shown around to several of the rooms in the castle. The breakfast was simple but more than sufficient and served in a very nice setting. The gardens are also beautiful and worth spending some time exploring them. The location is superb as we got great views of Sienna from our window, had the chance to be in a quiet setting by the nature but could still reach Sienna in 10 minutes by car.

The only thing that we didn't like is that we stayed in this beautiful place for only one night! We also didn't have the chance to visit and try the farm restaurant fof the same family which seems very appealing. However, when booking this accommodation, keep in mind that this is a very old building and consequently some of the amenities and equipment are old as well (e.g. plumbing, furniture, electrical plugs etc.) If you come expecting modern luxuries you will probably get disappointed, but if you come to appreciate a romantic small family castle in its timeless glory you will have a fantastic experience!

If you want to stay in a nearly 1000 year old castle and have the story to tell, take the tower room. It's a different experience and not for those with bad knees as lots of stairs and two spiral staircases, but it was AWESEOME! Great view, comfortable bed, it is the experience you are after and one you will talk about when you get home. Sweet staff, just get ready for a unique but rewarding experience. Breakfast was solid and the antique and decorations were worth the stay.

It is a 1000 year old castle, what can be better? Just know you have to walk and climb stairs, they help with baggage with a lift. It's again, worth the experience.

Exceptional place. Beautiful spacious room. Wonderful breakfast in a beautiful room . Helpful attentive staff. No wifi in rooms but excellent wifi on higher floors and in the breakfast room. Ample free parking Amazing views. This is what Tuscany is all about. Exceeded all expectations. Family also owns an excellent restaurant about 6 kms away which we loved and recommended to other guests.

Nothing. Wifi in room would be nice but this is a 12th century building so we were quite happy to have very good wifi service in breakfast room.

The property was absolutely stunning. The views of Tuscany were breathtaking. The castle was as advertised, very clean and friendly staff, assisted in helping to arrange transportation from the castle to the cooking class, and to the train station. The breakfast the next morning was a traditional Italian breakfast, very good and enjoyed visiting with the servers who were very kind and friendly. We brought our family to Italy for the first time, this part being towards the end of our trip. It was an amazing experience to have our boys explore the castle and be able to spend the night. It was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. The family truly has a gift of hospitality, and we hope some day to return to Castello Delle Quattro Torra!

The property is stunning! The location is really beautiful set in the Tuscan hills. The views from every window were like a piece of art! The Farmhouse Restaurant was amazing! The cooking class was top notch and so much fun! The breakfast was hot and fresh with amazing views!

The automatic air freshener in the bathroom was set right at head level by the toilet. When it went off it would spray us in the head if we were using the toilet. Not very pleasant to smell like the air freshener.

Charming, beautiful stay in an actual castle with the family living there. The staff is great, the location is unique to say the least.

Well, it's nitpicking but if you are big or in bad shape, getting into and out of the place could be a challenge: there are a number of stairs to climb to get to the entry and our tower room had not one but two narrow spiral staircases to climb. Those factors didn't bother us but might impact some people.

it is a unique experience and different from a normal hotel or guest house. You live literally in a Castle of 1300. so of you want to live a special stay is absolutely recommended. The view from the windows is magic facing on Siena hills with amazing colors and shadows an excellent breakfast on the top of the castle makes the stay even more beautiful it has everything you need from the kitchen and washing machine. very gentle and helpful owner
