let's be honest, the hotel and staff are fantastic. They just couldn't do enough for you! the pool area is magnificent, i went swimming early and they were always cleaning the pool and surrounding areas. Breakfast is really good, with enough variety and great coffee! Also the dinner is great, the only problem is that sometimes dinner wasn't available without any prior knowledge.

It5 is difficult to fault the hotel. All I would suggest is that they should communicate whether the kitchen is open for dinner that night at breakfast. They could communicate the menu and probably get more bookings if they did this, and not leave you to make other plans at the last minute.

Excellent pool and facilities, our room and bathroom were a perfect size and well presented. The hotel is obviously maintained beautifully and very clean, I felt very happy staying here. Also the staff were all super friendly and helpful, great service all round.

The food provided was lovely as it’s all grown on the farm or locally sourced but it was quite expensive. I don’t mind this for one or two nights but having to do this every lunch and dinner adds up quite a bit. The restaurant was a fine dining experience which is not a problem but I personally would have preferred a casual menu option. I think they could benefit from serving pizza and most of their menu is seafood which as a vegetarian/relaxed vegan the options for me were quite limited. Also if you’re not driving then the location is a bit remote, they hire out bikes for no charge which was great for us but still there’s not a lot within cycling distance.

The resort was quite spacious, Away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Ideal for a relaxing holiday. The staff was very nice and helpful and available 24x7.They could speak English which was a relief. The swimming pool area was really nice and serene. They give complementary breakfast too. The cakes and jams are all from their organic farms and home made. But it was more sweet based than anything salty, For those you have a sweet tooth for breakfast, it may be a treat. They also provide bikes(cycles) which you can hire for free for exploring the neighbouring areas. They also provide free parking which was a bonus. Location was perfect for me- calm and peaceful with nature and greenery around. Also, its just 15 mins from ortigia by car, so not far from major tourist attractions too. I also had massage from Sara which was very relaxing. In nutshell, I had a wonderful experience and it was the best place to end my vacation in a relaxing way before starting to work again.

Hotel Casale Milocca is the perfect place to unwind. Beautiful and spacious surroundings, kept spotless by the ever-attentive staff. Gorgeous pool and gardens, fantastic breakfast, hot food at the pool bar at lunch, and a more formal restaurant in the evenings. Al fresco breakfast each morning in the lavender garden was a highlight. Rooms are well equipped and comfortable, with your own mini patio and the fragrance of herbs and flowers drifting in from the garden. A car is useful for getting there and for sightseeing or eating out in the evenings. This hotel has been stunningly designed - created from fields and ruins just 8 years ago to preserve the original buildings and character. All achieved by the formidable Madame in charge - what a lady!

We received a warm welcome from two wonderful ladies at Reception (Barbara and Mary) who explained everything about the property and gave us a tour. The setting is part of a restored 19th century farm with gardens, orchards, an Enchanted Garden, two stunning outdoor pools - everything designed for total comfort and relaxation in the Sicilian countryside. We stayed 3 nights to explore Siracusa/Ortigia, nearby towns and beautiful beaches. They grow their own organic produce which is served in the restaurant. The room was beautiful, especially the bathroom with Sicilian tiles. We enjoyed our own private patio facing a garden with citrus trees and flowering shrubs. A delightful way to start the day with a morning coffee and end it with a glass of local wine before a delicious Sicilian dinner in their restaurant. The breakfast buffet was exceptional including custom made omelettes and a table full of freshly baked breads and sweets. We loved our visit and could have stayed a week.

Family X2 Adults and X1 Infant stayed at the Hotel Casale Milocca for 3 Nights in June of 2024. We loved our stay and will return in the future. Pool together with the facilities were great. Our booked room had a private terrace facing also a lawn area which we could enjoy to ourselves with sunbeds and umbrella. Breakfast was great with a good choice of options. The only thing which could be improved, is the toaster and including a choice of warm items such as pouched egg/s, bacon and sausages. On our first night, having a daughter of 7 months, we opted to have lunch and dinner at same hotel. Food was served in a short time, friendly staff and a great service. We were informed by one of the staff members during lunch that an a La Carte Menu was applicable during dinner time, however when on that evening we visited the hotel's restaurant, being it was a Wednesday and apparently there is 1 day per week where only a particular 1 type of platter is served together with bread. Basically, we were let a bit down as there were no other options, and being that no other restaurants are in the vicinity of the hotel, we had to stick with the platter served.

AC in room requires maintenance as it takes quite some time for the room to cool. Lunch and Dinner menus could be improved providing a better choice to the client,

Amazing facilities: very good (and big) pool, gardens, bar (with icecreams). Very family and baby/kid friendly: there are toys arround the pool for kids to play with, there is a park with slides and swings for kids, the pool is perfect for babies/kids since it has a big shallow part. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. Very good restaurant on the place, where we had beautifull "pasta alla norma", very well cooked. Very good breakfast, with homemade cakes, cookies, eggs and other local products.

The light isolation on the room was not good (the blinds let a lot of sunshine in the morning, which means early wake up for people who like to sleep in the dark).

The hotel is built around a renovated 17th Century Vista, and it's very comfortable and beautiful - the pool, the rooms, with private terraces and sunning gardens, the olive trees, and lavender and rosemary that is all around the property, it's an exceptional get-away. The Reception area and the dining areas are also very nice and accommodating. The breakfasts are wonderful, the restaurant for dinner was also good. The staff and service is excellent, We also enjoyed that most of the guests were Italian families - that gave us a unique tourism experience in itself. I also appreciate the organic vegetable gardens on the property!

This hotel is about 6 miles outside of the city of Syracuse, a 15 minute drive to Ortigia. This location is perfect for Italian families who want to relax in the country, visit the sea and just 'get away' (there is a public beach 750 meters from the hotel, about 5 minutes on bicycle). But for foreigners who want to visit the tourist attractions in the city, it means we need to drive. It would be nice if eventually the hotel can coordinate with a tour service for shuttles to Ortigia and the most popular attractions in and around Syracuse. They need to improve their gym and spa facilities but it looks like that may be under construction.

We enjoyed the location, the food, the very spacious room, and helpfulness of very friendly staff. Staff are very welcoming from the offer of a complimentary granita upon arrival to the delicious almond cookies provided for our drive the day we departed.

We had a bit of a challenge finding the hotel, but 3rd time was the charm! Maybe placing a directional sign or 2 along the road as you drive in would help. We stopped first at a property that was gated and looked like it could be it. They directed us further down the road. We tried the 2nd property. Then, that being wrong, finally tried the correct 3rd property.

We arrived 12 hours later than planned due to Etna erupting so our plane was diverted from Catania to Palermo. After airport bus transfer to Catania airport, arrived at hotel at 10.00 am next day. Hosts were very hospitable and had kept breakfast for us. Food was excellent, wide variety for breakfast, very good evening meal, attentive staff. Fresh strawberries and vegetables grown on site. All staff very friendly and helpful, looked like they enjoyed working there and making sure guests had a good time, rooms and grounds well looked after and clean. Lots of activities for adults and children on site. Eco-friendly Only a short drive to Siracusa / Ortigia.

Alas the pool had to be cleaned because of the volcanic ash, so we couldn't use it during our 2 night stay
