This resort is a class act. The landscaping was exceptional. Breakfast was very good with the option to sit outside. We enjoyed the private beach with lifeguard on duty. It’s sandy and wonderful ! They upgraded us to the most extraordinary villas with impeccable quality throughout and our own lap pools! It was a slice of heaven for 4 nights and we could park our car right outside the gate. Thank you very much, Luca! We hope to come back again ! <3

Amazing location, getting water taxi into Ortigia, great places to swim/sit in sun/read book, helpful staff, great views from rooms

Food at the restaurant was average - too expensive for small portions. A private event was also held the weekend we were there, and we were not told until half an hour before the event that the viewing terrace/restaurant/cliff side swimming area would be closed for it - would have appreciated being informed in advance so we could make plans around it

Stunning location and scenery, breakfast was amazing, beautiful beach and incredible views. Good gym too! The boat taxi was cool. One of the waiters at breakfast was a real joy, they always had a huge smile and were super friendly. T

We had a few problems with our suite, the drains smelt really bad, there was no hot water on one day, there was some confusion over payment on the boat taxi and the taxi to the train station arrived 20 mins late......luckily we did make the train so all good and they did resolve the other issues. The boat skipper and concierge were a little standoffish which made you feel a bit unwelcome. It's rare I complain at a hotel but here I felt I had to pull them up on something every day which isn't a nice way to spend a holiday. I think we were just a little unlucky, but given the cost of the hotel, you don't expect to have a room smelling of drains with no hot water. It's very expensive to eat at the resort but we expected that.

Private beaches were quite different to one another and relaxing Overall facilities were impressive Ordering 'room service' to anywhere on the hotel grounds was great Room cost was pretty reasonable for a 5 star Style of hotel complex was cool

The food quality- given Italy has some of the best food in the world. This was without the worst we've had in the many weeks we've spent out in Italy Sadly the cost of the food and drink is very high. The hotel is far away (walking) from anywhere else to eat or drink which means you are forced to pay high fees.

The staff were extremely helpful attentive and welcoming. The food was excellent and the choice at breakfast was impressive. The resort is located on a headland across the bay from Siracusa. There is a selection of pool, beach and rocky outcrops where you can relax and SISK up the Sun.

It is difficult trying to get the balance between creating a relaxing environment whilst providing adequate entertainment for guests. Given the resorts relative isolation from the town of Siracusa, more entertainment should be provided in the form of music at the pool and entertainment at dinner in the evenings. More guests would have stayed in the resort rather than venture to Siracusa most days.

The resort is beautiful. My family enjoyed the rocky beach and taking the boat service to see Siracusa. I staff was kind and friendly.

Our room was upgraded to a suite to accommodate my family of 4 which was nice for the hotel to do. Although the suite was a good size the setup was a little odd. There was no door or closure on the bathroom which made it very awkward for privacy. My family and I was bit by several mosquitoes while in the suite for the first few minutes. Cost of food and drinks was astronomical plus added additional fees to be delivered to the beach, when there are no options to pick any food or drinks up and take away. As a 5 star property I would expect this to be a courtesy and part of 5 star level service.

stunning views, sandy and rocky beaches and amazing pool. the room was great ! the staff was very friendly and helpful and provided an amazing service

the breakfast was disappointing, only a handful of options better to arrive at daylight as the road leading to the hotel is bumpy and not well lit.

the beaches are superb - both the sandy, rocky and the swimming pool is also nice. the sunsets from the rocky beach were amazing.

the restaurant was not worth the money and also, it is weird that there is no public bathrooms around the beach and swimming pool area.

The Minareto Hotel has an amazing location, overlooking the bay and with a view to Ortigia. We loved the sandy and the rocky beach and having a sea view of Ortigia from the room is priceless.

Even for a 5 star hotel the prices are a bit steep. 18 Euros for an Aperol Spritz where you can get amazing ones in top restaurants in Ortigia for 5 seemed excessive. Also there being a fee for smaller things that are normally complimentary, like newspapers or making your own pod-coffee in your room just seems like a money grab. The facilities and the room itself seem a little dated and to me very vegas-like in the decor style.

Beautiful location. The hotel grounds were impeccable. The view of Ortigia from the hotel was amazing. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. The beach and ocean areas were perfection. The rooms were definitely updated and everything you would need was provided.

The Sicilian BBQ wasn't the greatest for Italian food. The pasta was nothing special, but the atmosphere made up for the lack in flavor in the dinner. The breakfast options were fantastic.
