the gorgeous room … well appointed … balconies were terrific… so clean and serviced twice a day. breakfast brilliant. staff exceptional… they were exceedingly helpful (even helping us book and pay for our rail tickets). plus the central location was a bonus. loved the fact that I could book my excursions through the hotel months before my arrival … and everything was taken care of professionally. a great place to chill out under the Sorrento moon. PS must mention the pool area … I felt like a film star in my private Leon garden, with gorgeous waiters at my beck and call

Everything was wonderful. The location is one block from the main road with all the restaurants and shops. This hotel sits on what looks like a castle. Everyone was welcoming and went above and beyond to show all the amenities, and also answer any questions that came up. The breakfast was great and served in a beautiful room overlooking the fortress as well as a well-kept outdoor area with lovely flowers blooming and the famous giant lemon 🍋 trees.

I wish the pool was open later than 6 pm. Seems pretty standard though for many of the local hotels.

We could not have found a better base for our 10 day visit to the Sorrento / Amalfi region. The central but “tucked away” location of the hotel in Sorrento makes all restaurants, shops and attractions walkable but at the same time the hotel is quiet and away from any noise. Everything was spotlessly clean and well maintained…the feel of the hotel is slightly old school, but in a good way and classy…everything about Antiche Mura is quality and attention is clearly paid to every detail by a team of people who only know one way to do things - perfectly. The garden / pool area was bigger and nicer than the impression we’d got from the photos we’d seen. Great poolside food and drinks service at very reasonable prices. Excellent breakfast choices and always a warm welcome to the breakfast room from the team. And last but by no means least the staff are individually warm, friendly and very helpful and as a team a well oiled machine focused on total guest satisfaction. It’s clear there are people who return regularly to the Antiche Mura…we can totally see why, and we may do the same. Thank you all for a wonderful and relaxing holiday base.

What are the chances in a 10 day stay in any hotel, that you could not find even one small negative thing ..? Pretty low I’d say…but honestly here, nothing could have been better. Ancora …grazie mille ..!!

The hotel grounds are beautiful. The pool was still open and many guests spent the afternoons out by the pool. The breakfast buffet had a huge assortment of breakfast items to choose from.

My room was very cozy and comfortable but very small. The desk and kettle were actually located in a landing outside of my room. Before I booked the room the staff told me about the small room so it was not a problem. I would have liked to have had the desk and kettle in my room. I would also like to have somewhere to hang wet clothes.

This hotel is in a prime location central to Sorrento, and 2 steps from the main piazza and shopping / eating districts. The rooms are large, spacious, and upgraded. I loved the layout, with a garden space and pool dividing the lobby from the actual rooms that guests stayed. It also has garage space and easy access to public transportation nearby. + The staff was excellent, providing everything I needed for an amazing stay and always available to answer a question. I will definitely be back for my next stay!

The room was cozy, but did get a little warm over night even though the thermostat was not set, but I am sure that was error on my part, and easily remedied.

The hotel was centrally located so that made it very convenient being close to everything. The setting was nice and the pool very lovely.The breakfast was great with lots of options to choose from. The hotel staff were very gracious and helpful.- They even called and checked for us on a dinner reservation and gave us great suggestions for dinner.

Well we were a little disappointed with the quality of the coffee at breakfast, the cappuccino definitely was not the best for being in Italy. We had much better coffee, espresso and cappuccino at many other places

Amazing location right in the heart of Sorrento but set back and quiet. Lovely staff, super clean. Great set up with two interconnecting rooms and a little lobby just for us. Very comfortable.

It is a little dated in terms of decor, although all good quality. There’s not really anywhere to hang out in the evenings, the bar is a bit uninspiring. But the location service and comfort makes up for it. Great base for exploring Sorrento and around

Wonderful stay at the Antiche Mura. Perfect location just a stone's throw from the buzz of the main square yet beautiful, tranquil gardens where you can relax under the orange and lemon trees. The staff were exceptional and went out of their way to make you feel welcome.

It was a shame there were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room but, other than that, I can't fault anything about the hotel.

Historical location. Walkable convenience to restaurants, shopping, transportation. Superb included breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff.

Checked into a dark room and had no idea on how to turn on lights. Couldn't get the TV to work. These issues were corrected by staff but would have been helpful to have them give us orientation to room.

Absolutely everything from the rooms with their charming tiled floors, to the staff, to the beautiful breakfast in the morning was absolutely AMAZING! The hotel staff arranged transportation for my family of 7 to and from the Naples train station and also arranged for a driver to take down the Amalfi coast for a day. Our trip could not have been more magical. I can not wait to return!!
