We loved our host Antonino as he went above and beyond in making our stay comfortable and pleasant. He gave recommendations for places to eat and visit that exceeded expectations. The location of the property was ideal as it was right next to old town Sorrento and close to the train station as well. The amenities were clean and provided us with enough space for our opened suitcases. We didn’t have any issues finding the place as Antonino personally came to pick us up from the station. We would definitely stay again if we were to visit Sorrento. The experience was made better by the hospitality shown by the host as it felt like I was staying with family.

Just book Antonino's place you will be so pleased and you will not be disappointed. If you are looking at staying on the Amalfi cost this is honestly the best property you could stay at. The hospitality from Antonino is like no other, I have travelled the world several times and stayed at various places and we have never met such a genuinely amazing host like Antonino. His hospitality, care and energy was so welcomed and next to no other. We felt safe and looked after every minute before, during and after our stay. The property is cosy and has everything you need. The only thing to note is you will need to have your own beach towel. Otherwise the place was everything we could have wanted and much much more!!!

modern decor, light, airy, well designed, plenty of hanging for clothes, large mirror, sockets, good air con, sky tv, fridge, coffee pod machine, comfortable bed, well lit bathroom. every detail is well thought through and location is great. It was perfect for us! The host came to meet us when we were a little lost on arrival, insisted on carrying our cases up the stairs. He let us leave our cases after check out as we had a late flight and again carried our cases downstairs. He offered help with restaurant choices, a lovely, genuine guy who made our stay in Sorrento for me and my daughter’s birthdays fantastic!

If you’re not sure where to stay in Sorrento, STAY HERE! The host Antonino was incredibly kind and made our stay so wonderful! It was perfectly located near Piazza Tasso in Sorrento. The room was very comfortable and thoughtfully decorated. The fridge was a good size and the shower water pressure was great. The address would have been tricky to find, except for the host of Vicolo 8 came to help us with our luggage and find the place. He also helped us make dinner reservations because we visited Sorrento during the very busy summer season. We will definitely be staying here whenever we come back to Sorrento!

Everything was great!

We loved everything. Tucked behind fauno bar close to everything. Shops, transport, food. Although in a little authentic area, the room was very modern. Ultra clean, sparkling in fact!! Antonino is a super super host, communication was exceptional, he carried our bags up the stairs, super fast WiFi, sky box with a great TV, fridge, breakfast topped everyday including water, milk, juice. Kettle and coffee machine with coffee pods. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud, pillows were great too. Lots of hanging space for clothes, bathroom cabinet for all your Toiletries. Iron. Even international plugs. There was nothing we went without, felt very safe here too even at night. so sad to leave here. Antonino is like family and will treat you the same. 150% recommend it, my favourite stay ever!

I loved everything, there is nothing to dislike.

Antonino is a great host. We loved our stay at the place, and he truly made it feel like we were at home. The location is great as it is right next to the main plaza and the central shopping area; the bus/ train stations are a 7mins walk and the ferry port is an 8min walk. The place itself is really well done with high quality furnishing and very clean. Antonino offers breakfast and keeps the place very clean. He had recommendations and offered to make reservations at a locally popular restaurant for us. He was very kind and gave us umbrellas as it was raining while we were there. He also helped us with our luggage when we needed to get the big bag to the ferry in the rain. He is a superb host and we'd highly recommend staying there.

There wasn't really much not to like. The place has some stairs, but Antonino helped us with our bags so it wasn't a bother for us.

If you are looking for an amazing place to stay in Sorrento this is it! Viccolo 8 is close to everything you need during your stay and is just a short walk from the bus and train station, grocery stores, restaurants, port, beach, attractions and local retailers. Antonino is an incredible host, and if it was possible we would rate him 20/10. The communication was of a very high standard, as was his willingness to assist with anything we needed before, throughout and after our stay. Antonino went out of his way to ensure we could check in early to suit our transport to Sorrento and made us feel at home. We enjoyed our stay in Sorrento so much, and Viccolo 8 was the perfect accomodation and base to explore the local areas. The accomodation was sparkling clean, very well equiped and includes everything you could possibly need. We feel very fortunate to have come across this gem during our European travels and when/if we can make it back to Sorrento we would not hesitate to stay here again.

First of all, our host, and now We would call Antonino our Friend, is amazing! Supportive, helpfull, and not just takes the extra mile to make ourselves feel like being at home, but also helped us to be familiar with the Area. He recommended us the best places matching our taste, gave perfect description how to get where (saved us at least a day, because we hadn’t had to waste time on unavailable tours, but enabled us to catch a boat last minute and so on). He is truly an angel. Besides the apartment itself was clean, comfy, fully functioning, quiet, but pretty much close to everything.

Antonino was a fantastic host. He was in touch prior to our stay and arranged transport from the airport to Pompeii and then finally our hotel. He made everything so easy. Our room was immaculate and overlooked a sweet typical Italian local neighborhood- just what I had hoped for. Beautiful old building that has been well kept and the rooms are completely updated and pristine. Antonino also recommended the most amazing restaurant within walking distance- the food was delicious-ask him about it. Antonino was a warm, helpful host that ended up feeling more like an Italian cousin with all the insider information and best recommendations. Great location to town center with shopping and restaurants; perfect for strolling in the evening. In short, a perfect stay. Antonino made our stay very memorable!

Perfect location. Our host Antonio could not be more helpful. Super clean. Quiet location but still in the middle of everything. I would stay here again. I celebrated a big birthday while I was here and Antonio was so sweet to organise a beautiful bouquet of flowers for me. It was such a nice gesture.

As with other reviews, the stairs. This only needs to be taken into consideration if you have mobilility issues.
