Convenient location near the historic center and close to the train station. We booked at the last-minute for one night over a holiday weekend to break up a long drive. As three-star hotels in Italy go, I was impressed. Definitely could have been a lot worse. I'm a light sleeper and we didn't hear any noise from other rooms. We were on the fourth floor (with exposed wood beams from the roof - kind of charming) so no street noise and with the window open we could hear the Adda River below us. Bathroom was fine. Everything was clean. The cafe across the river has delicious pastries, so if you just want a coffee and something sweet for breakfast, skip the hotel breakfast and go there.

The "matrimoniale" bed was just two twins pushed together, which is not unusual in Italy but should be noted. The mattresses were worn out so you have the "peaks and valleys" effect when pushed together to make a double bed, but they were still somewhat firm and not a disaster. For one night, it was perfectly fine. They don't have a designated parking lot so you have to try your luck with public parking (could be a nightmare, but we were lucky). Also, they do not have a front desk 24 hours a day, so you can't check in past 10pm.

Nice location. Very good view from one of the apartments on the top floor. Very cosy and beautiful room at a good price that made us extend the our stay with one night despite the few flaws of the room.

Very strange shower that was very difficult to set a cold enough temperature but that was probably just our apartment. Little bit strange smell in the apartment but once again might have been just our apartment and was easy to get rid of having all windows open that was needed anyway because of the warm weather during our stay.

We arrived at the hotel earlier left our bags and the family owners welcome us they are very nice and friendly give us lots of information and when we return at night time our bags are already at the room , the bedroom window is just in front of the beautiful river nice calm water noise , at night time the lights from the church mountains are Amazing so so beautiful. Definitely recommend and I will return someday in the future.

The Hotel is short 8-minute walk from the Bernina train terminus (beside the FS station) – walk straight away from the station until you reach a main road. Then turn right. The hotel staff made us feel welcome and they were very helpful in answering our questions. It is a small hotel with a friendly, warm atmosphere. Our room was warm, clean and comfortable, with a large en suite bathroom. The buffet breakfast had variety and quality. Overall - excellent.

Nothing, really

The location was walking distance to Bernina Express train station. And easy walk to restaurants and cafes. The owner was charming, telling us about local history.

We like to see electric plugs beside to charge our devices. Important because we book our trip accommodation and transportation as we go.

Friendly, helpful staff. Clean and comfortable. Minor maintenance issues as mentioned in other reviews, but everything worked. We had a great view of the river and town. An easy walk to the station which was important for us. The old Town has a lot of character, we loved it.

The one issue that does need addressing is the washbasin plug in Room 504 as it means more water is used when washing and is not in line with sustainable travel.

Everything was perfect, even though I booked it very last minute. It's located approximately 5 minutes away from the train station and also very close to the city centre. The room was not big, but it was completely enough for my short 1 night stay there and there was definitely enough space for storage (huge wardrobe, table, chair). Room and also bathroom were very clean. And I had also a beautiful view out of my window!

Less than ten minute walk from station and old town. Very friendly owner / staff. Small but adequate, clean room. Easy check in / out. Not directly liked to the hotel but l would add that the train journey from Chur to Tirano was astounding!

Location is perfect, just in the middle of the city, between the railway station and the old town. My friend found it a bit too loud (there's a main road in front), but I honestly didn't hear any noise during the night, so it's about individual perception. Room was nice, bathroom big enough. In general, a clean and comfortable hotel in a good location.

Nothing to dislike

Everything was great, the location, the attendance of the staff, it was clean, brilliant and the best ratio price. It's located besides the river, so you've a beautiful spot just outside the hotel.
