I wanted to travel by Bernina Express and make excursions from its different stations. Hotel Bernina is a few steps away from the Bernina Express Station. It is close to the old city too. Breakfast was very good, though I love italian sweet breakfast, I enjoyed to taste local cheese as well. Room and bedroom had enough space everything I need. Staff is really helpfulI. I asked for an adaptor in the morning, before leaving for excursion, and the adaptor waited for me in the room in the afternoon upon my returning back the hotel. Check out is at 10 p.m. but lagguage storage is possible till late afternoon.

I stayed on the 3rd floor which is the highest floor. There is no aircondition in the rooms. Temperature cools down at night but rather late. Anyway I do not want to sleep very early on holiday, so it was not a real problem and I guess lower floors get less warm in daytime.

Stopped 1 night before driving the Stelvio Pass. A very good location, with private (paid) car parking available a few metres along from the railway station. The hotel restaurant was excellent--Big menu, great pizza, I ate in their outdoor area across the street. Breakfast was available from 7am and was excellent..plenty of choice. Very helpful receptionist and staff. Also a convenient place to stay for the Bernina express as the hotel is right next to the railway station

Nothing I didn't like..but beware if you are big or tall..the bathroom is a very tight fit

The hotel was great, restaurants and staff excellent. Our only complaint was lack of air conditioning on a warm day. The little town of Tirano is really lovely and Hotel is in excellent position to catch the Bernina Express. The view from our room was spectacular! We had a lovely European breakfast and the steak in the terrace restaurant was absolutely amazing!

The bed wasn't made up when we arrived. Not sure whether that's a European thing or whether they just hadn't finished the room! Sheets were folded on the bed and duvet in wardrobe. It was very hot when we arrived and tiny fan didn't really do much to remove heat.

We spent only 1 night as we arrived with the Bernina Express train and left the next day on Bernina Bus. Close to the train station - within walking distance Spacious bathroom - but with no ventilation Friendly staff Good breakfast

Room was very basic It was super hot (heat wave) but we only had a small fan in the room that didn't help much. Tirano doesn't have much to offer for a tourist to pass the time. Looking back now, I would have preffered to do the Bernina train & bus in 1 day.

The location was excellent since we wanted to have close proximity to the Berlina Express the next morning. The room accomodations were comfortable.

The only issue was that when we needed to check out (along with other guests), there was no staff member in sight. We were told that the desk clerk had over slept and we were all concerned that we would miss the train. A young female staff member finally showed up with only a few minutes to spare.

The hotel location made it the logical choice for a stay prior to climbing aboard the famous Bernina Express the next day. The silver service restaurant on site was the icing on the cake for the evening meal, along with a great breakfast buffet. Just a few steps from the end of the Milan-Tirano regional train line, and then just a few steps back to the Bernina Express. Rooms were quiet, very clean, warm and welcoming with all amenities on hand. Great shower.

Te room was quite big, facing the main square. It was perfect. The bathroom was clean. The breakfast was good. Timing of breakfast was perfect as I had to reach the Bernina express

The guy in the breakfast room was not polite at all. Te Coffee I ordered was "waiting for me" on the counter. He didn't bring it to my table. What a service is it??? 😡 I prefer self service coffee machine.

The staff were excellent, the food in the restaurant was amazing & it was the perfect location for the Bernina Express. Despite a few niggles we loved it here & hope to return in the future.

The room heating is controlled from reception, a good thing to know if you prefer your room on the cool side! No kettle, we like our rooms with kettles. It also needed a little repair work, cracked sink etc.

Location was excellent. Literally, right across from the Bernina express station. Good breakfast! Clean room and bathroom. Staff were nice and friendly. They didn’t have air conditioning. They have couple fans but didn’t have to use it as much during our stay as the weather was quiet cool and we slept with our windows open. But yea worth the money! We will stay again!

The hotel is perfectly placed for the Bernina Express station, as it's just opposite on the station square. The main railway is also on the same square, and if there are bus replacement services, these are a few steps away. The hotel itself is very nice, with a good restaurant (and a nice terrace). The staff is very helpful and friendly.
