Most importantly in this hostel I felt very safe as a woman traveling alone. The staff welcomed me very kindly, they are very relaxed and cheerful. The energy of the whole place is wonderful. The sheets on the beds were new, smelled clean and ironed. The toilets are cleaned regularly and I was very disappointed from other visitors as they left the toilets in a terrible state and that says a lot about people. Another wonderful thing about this hostel is that the location is very convenient because it is in the center and at the same time it is in a very quiet location and you can sleep very well at night. Rialto, markets, bars, and many choices of food were all within 5 steps from my bed. The kitchen is solid you can cook a full meal! Also the internet was very stable. On my way out the landlord shared with me that the house used to be in the service of the army, and after learning the historical importance of this building, I fell in love with it even more. Cheers to the Staff!

The staff is friendly, the price is fair and the location is great. Simple place with comfy bed. Good value for money.

-There was a power cut in the house one evening so I couldn’t charge my phone. -Only 2 shower rooms for that amount of people can be problematic if you’re on a tight schedule. -They did not give me the *name of the street* to find the place, which is insane (I had to find it on google). How can you not give guests the name of the street!!!! As a result, I wandered around the little streets of Venice for 1h carrying a suitcase to find their location.

The room was neat and clean with a sink in the room for freshing up, and a shared bathroom with 5 rooms, but personally I had no problems with that and neither with the shared kitchen. The staff was friendly and always welcome to help in case of any problem. The location is also very good with markets within a few minutes walk. It took just about 5 minutes more or less to get to the Rialto Bridge. It's a perfect hostel!

Our room had a fan but for the heat I consider it wasn't enough... Too hot to sleep in that room. But all in all, not much to complain.

Location, easy check it, easy check out. It's my 3-th time there. Amazing location, old building, really close to Rialto bridge, 15 walk from Ferrovia, you can walk from hostel to main Venice point, San Marco, Pl. Roma, Fundamente Nuove and safe money, it's not necessary to get the Vaporetto ticket because you can walk from hostel to any direction, friendly staff. Kitchen with all equipment. Good teraz, where you can spend time, cat's. Good value.

Old building with a specific smells, you should be ready it's a main Venice problem at all properties. Old bathroom's.

The room I stayed was 4 girls room, it is quite spacious, which surprised me a bit due to it is in the heart of Venice.

If there are individual power outlets for each bed and something like a small box on the wall to hold small personal items like phone, classes etc for each bed, especially for upper bunk bed, so that people don’t have to worry their phone would fall of the bed and break, that would be nice

Nice and helpful staff. Although I had to wait for checkin as the room was not ready , which is completely acceptable due to peak season and high footfall. Good location , surrounded by shopping streets and restaurants. Nice old heritage building which is well kept and maintained. Moreover they keep free coffee pods in kitchen which is so great for a coffee lover like me.

I wasn’t expecting to enjoy my stay here as much as I did. This place is older than most castles and was a real treasure for us to discover and enjoy. Staff was amazing. I didn’t expect it to be as great as it was. Don’t expect the ‘American experience’.. as in, our room didn’t have TV, and it was smallish.. but it was clean and otherwise perfect. Great location!

Ok, so we’re too pampered and missed not having AC at night.. the street life was a little too loud for us to have the windows open, so it was a bit hot.

Location was excellent, very close to Rialto. Room had one double bed and two smaller beds. Double bed was very cosy and smaller beds were ok. Bathroom was clean. We were provided with soap, shower gel and toilet paper.

For the price, everything was great. Maybe warmer blanket would be nice but overall everything was great.

location! I also liked the charm of a very old building. it’s easy to get lost in Venice because gps doesn’t work very well, but I had an easy time finding the place. probably because I got there from the vapporetto.

it was a little noisy outside my window, but the people inside were nice and quiet. it was also nice to have a kitchen

Feels homey. All the antiques stuff were potentially be amazing attraction but somehow the owner just doesn’t care lol. But its good, it doesn’t breathe ‘hostel’ or ‘hotel’ so yeah, it feels like home. Plus, the room is unexpectedly big for a decent hostel.

The location. The location is quite good actually, but since the area is not too touristy, it can be quiet and dark, which can be a bit dangerous I think. Also, there was only small size indicating the hostel on the door, so you have to read the owner’s instruction properly.
