Lovely B&B in a great location near the Grand Canal, markets & Rialto Bridge. Our room was spotless, spacious & the bed was really comfortable, with quality linen. Good choice of tea & coffee in the room, alongside some of the breakfast items. Chilled breakfast was in the lovely, clean kitchen & we were able to make our own hot drinks & fresh toast. Manager, Alessandro, was welcoming & friendly. He gave us lots of useful advice on where to eat & areas to visit, away from the tourist hot spots. Great value property, would highly recommend. Wish we could have stayed longer.

The apartment was spotless and in a fabulous location, 2 mins from Rialto Bridge, 1 min from Mercato de Pesce which is wonderful. The breakfast facilities and free food/drink offerings were extremely thoughtful and generous even home made cakes! Alessandro couldn’t have been any more pleasant or helpful with tips and restaurant recommendations and ideas for sightseeing. I really enjoyed having a sauna everyday, it sounds a bit whacky but it was brilliant and relaxing for the sore feet after miles of walking! The apartment was beautiful and furnished tastefully with Netflix available for rainy afternoons and the bathroom was very luxurious if a bit on the small side. I’ll definitely be returning! Great location, very nice bed and breakfast. It has A/C, and the rooms have a nice space. Shower is great!

Nice rooms at a great location. Alessandro gave us a warm welcome and gave us all practical information we needed. For Italy it had a very nice breakfast in quite an original formula (every room had its personal tray with local products in a little fridge). Also important: great coffee!

The silicone of our shower could use a little make-over. Since the B&B was next to the fish market the smell of fish was really present in the narrow street. So opening the windows would not be a good idea :-). But inside the B&B and the rooms there was no problem at all.

If you are looking for a nice place to stay in Venice, close to all the sights (round the corner from the Rialto Bridge), that won't cost a fortune - take a look at the Antico Mercato. It was very nice, very clean and very convenient. Alessandro was extremely helpful. He was very friendly and gave us many excellent tips on places to go and things to see. We had an excellent time.

We caught the wrong vaporetto by mistake, so read the directions carefully as I didn't. We liked the area, but some people might not. The Antico Mercato is clean, spacious and remarkably quiet, but it is in an old area. The alleys are perfectly safe, but they are quiet narrow and this might put some people off.

The location is great, easy access to Rialto bridge. The breakfast, kitchen are well equipped and very good organized. The room size is bigger that we expected and very clean, and offer a 5 star flavor (beauty, slippers) Alessandro the host is magic! We liked him so much: he is very involved to recommend the best things to do for the city itinerary, restaurants and has all the tips and tricks of Venice. He is very careful with the guests.

The pillows were a little to big and uncomfortable for our taste, but this could be our subjective point of view.

Alessandro is a wonderful host, his inside information and recommendations shaped our 3 night stay in Venice. The location is easily accessible from Santa Lucia station and Alessandro sent instructions well in advance. A breakfast tray is provided each day and it is well stocked with fruit, yoghurts, cold meat, cheeses etc. Breads, pastries and cakes are available in the dining area. We particularly liked the ground coffee and chilled water machines.....accessible at any time of the day.

Alessandro made contact via whatsapp before to send our code. He made us feel so welcome before we even arrived. Perfect location. Spotlessly clean. Continental Breakfast was so beautifully presented. And just perfect. Fresh fruit and the little extras. Just so much attention to detail. Sparkling water iced water machine all on tap in the sweetest little kitchen. The best cappucinos also generously available in the kitchen. Alessandro gave us a map and such good advice on what to see... thank YOU Alessandro

We absolutely loved our stay at Antico Mercato. Alessandro (our host) was absolutely incredible giving us amazing recommendations on what to visit and where to eat. The facilities were extremely clean and our room was very cozy. Breakfast was also really nice and we loved the coffee machine.😊 Although we didn’t use the sauna it seems like a bonus for those who enjoy it and it seemed very clean. Another bonus was that our tv had Netflix and we could watch many amazing films after a long day of walking. The location is fantastic considering Venice is quite small and everything including San Marco is within 15 minutes walking. Absolutely recommended for those looking for a reliable, comfortable and friendly stay.

We loved everything.

The accommodation is great, small and fine with only 3 rooms in total. Central location right by the Mercato di Rialto. Clean, comfortable. Breakfast good and very sufficient. Not a matter of course: free water and coffee all day and homemade cake. Especially worth mentioning: Alessandro takes a lot of time, seeks contact with the guests, very friendly and attentive and gives many great tips for exploring the city. We had a really nice time.
