Bed comfy. Barbara was great with suggestions of itineraries, how to get to stations using the various transport options, and helping with luggage. Sunil was really friendly and was quick to tidy the rooms, and always on hand if needed. Room was upgraded with electric usb charger next to bed whilst we were there. Plus!

If being picky, items weren't replenished each day in the room, eg decaf coffee after first day, and cotton pads. Our room deal said that wine was included but we didn't receive this. No big deal, and would recommend to others.

This 16th century building is located on a quiet street, but close to everything. 3 minutes walk from the boat. Few nice restaurants just downstairs. Our host Barbara was very welcoming , gave us good advices and tips, made booking to a great restaurant. Sunil was taking care of our breakfast and everything we needed during our stay. Room is very nice, clean and big. Comfortable bed.

Perfect B&B hotel to stay in Venice. Good price, great location (you could easily get to any place in Venice from there), room was absolutely fantastic, it had interesting design and was always clean and comfortable. Francesca was extremely nice and helpful, she explained everything we needed to get our heads around how transport in Venice works and also some helpful tips. She helped us with planning our outbound (we had a really early flight and she helped us to get from Venice to the airport with no troubles). Also there were some fruits and yogurts left for us in our room so we could get something to eat before we leave, which was really nice.

As for me breakfast could have been better. You certainly won't be hungry, but there's not that much options to choose from, more about toasts, ham, eggs and coffee/juice and yogurt . It's fine for a couple of days (as me and my gf did), but I guess the menu doesn't have enough options for more than three days.

Just got back from 3 Nights at La Villeggiatura, the premises is a B&B as opposed to a hotel, and as described there are a number of flights of stairs to get to the premises which is on the 3rd floor. This is detailed in the description however I am aware some residents commented upon this and queried that there was no lift. This is in the heart of Venice where nearly all the buildings are "listed" and as such cannot have lifts. The stairs were not an issue for us. We were met by Barbara, who was one of the most helpful hosts I have come across. She made us feel extremely welcome and nothing was too much bother for her. She advised on where to go in Venice where to eat and how to get there, how to use Public transport ie the river busses and where to get to the different routes stops. She even helped us plan our day to visit the the islands of the lagoon Torcello, Burano and Murano and what to do at each island. The room (5) was on the upper floor and was clean, well furnished and well presented. There is no view from the room as it has a skylight, but that wasn't an issue for us we were only in the room to sleep. The bed was very comfortable. A good continental style breakfast was available. The premises is very centrally located only a few minutes walk from the Grand Canal and many other local attractions with a plethora of good bars and restaurants close by.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Barbara was willing to help with all our questions and booked us a water taxi for our departure day. The rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious. The location is great. You can walk everywhere and the street is charming without being too loud. The breakfast was very good as well and served in a lovely quaint dining area near reception.

The hotel is in a converted house, which adds to the charm, but unfortunately means that the soundproofing is not great. You can hear people in the hall, and I was able to faintly hear my parents speaking in the room above me. We were traveling with an infant so I feel bad for the guests who likely had to hear her each time she cried!

The location was terrific - the Rialto Bridge was extremely close, and we found a couple of lovely restaurants close by as well. The host was extremely welcoming and very helpful, she designed us a custom walking tour of Venice.

We were aware that this was a three floor walkup but we were also told that we would have assistance with luggage. The gentleman that was available to assist us, through no fault of his, was not ready for our copious amount of luggage.

The staff was amazing, Barbara and Somil always helped in everything we needed, it felt like we stayed at someone's house not an hotel. Barbara gave us lists of things to do and where to eat that would be cost efficient and helpful. The place was clean and near everything, and despite being on the third floor with the door hard to see, we still found it great. Breakfast was very mild, as in ham, cheese and bread. There was cereal and eggs. We still loved it but some might think it not too much

The host (Barbara) was helpful, eager and efficient. Nice to have a coffee machine in the room. Large comfy bed. Good restaurants nearby, shops too. Very close to Rialto bridge. Great connections to the airport and vaporettos.

The janitor/butler lived in the same apartment, so the BB was semi private. Breakfast ready made, one cup of coffee, no greens. Apt on 3rd floor, heavy luggage to carry all those narrow stairs upstairs. Air con was set lower while we were exploring the city. The minibar did not contain the items mentioned on the price list (very reasonable prices). Since it was a flat converted into a BB, a domestic fight could be heard loud and clear at 3 am. Same building, not other BB guests.

Myself and my partner stayed here 5 nights at the end of August and the service and location were excellent. The host Barbara was incredibly well informed, providing us with helpful advice and recommendations. We loved our stay and would highly recommend the accommodation to anyone visiting Venice.

The accommodation was beautiful, although climbing three flights of stairs could cause a problem for some people. Despite this, we were offered help with our luggage on our arrival and when leaving which was great.

The property is well situated and very quiet compared to other places in Venice. Location is ideal as it is close to some nice bars and restaurants. Both Barbara and Sunil were very polite and helpful. Barbara answered all of our questions and even gave us a list with local restaurants and recommended a couple of other places to visit. Our room was tidy, clean and looked exactly the same as the photographs.
