Location was perfect, breakfast was so nice every morning, staff were excellent, loved the bathrooms in the main lobby. ❤️

Rooms could use a refresh paint. Missed the table and chairs you show in your photos just outside the hotel, would have been nice to sit outside and enjoy a drink/aperitivo with snacks by the water.

Great location just a few minutes walk from the Rialto bridge. Check in was easy the boat drops you off and your only 15 steps to reception. We had a great room on the 3 rd floor overlooking the grand canal. Directly Across the canal is the Ca’d’Oro museum. Only a few hundred yards away is a crossing gondola that is 2 euros a person and you can get to the museum. Also a few hundred yards away is a water bus stop to get you anywhere at a reasonable price. There are a bunch of great smaller non tourist-trap places to eat nearby just go down the alleyways. The breakfast was really good every morning.

No fitness center

Exceptional property located across the canal from the Ca D'Oro, with easy access to vaporetto, traghetto, train and bus. Modern, clean, with good quality toiletries and linens. Bidet in the bathroom with linen towels, what a touch!. They come to the room in the eve and set your slippers next to the bed... could live without that, but speaks of the little details. Breakfast buffet has everything, even bubbles, and tastes wonderful when you sip your coffee looking at the Grand Canal :) Staff is courteous and efficient. You can sit waterside in the afternoon/night to enjoy a drink from the bar. Rialto bridge is steps away; you can hop on #1 about 200 ft from the hotel to navigate the canal, or you can walk across the bridge (or pay 2Euros for a traghetto) and walk to Fondamenta Nove in 15 minutes for boats to Murano/Burano or the airport. Great value for a top quality property in this magic city. There is a shopping mall across the bridge, Tedeschi, with a terrace that offers great views of the city, make your reservation.

Just a comment about the message that the hotel sends with info about transfer and other services; it would be more useful to get it at least a month before the trip. I got it withing 2 days and I had made all arrangements but that time.

The staff went above and beyond from the moment we arrived. We were also spoilt with a bottle of Prosecco in our room, as it was our honeymoon - this was a simple but lovely touch. The room is comfortable and modern and the location is fantastic - not just central but I can't stress enough how wonderful the view from the front is. You pay massive premiums for the restaurants along the canals but at Hotel L'Orologio you get it every morning for breakfast and every evening for drinks. Highly recommended and the only place we'll stay for future visits to Venice!

We loved this hotel. Location was amazing. Right on the water. Just a short walk from the ferry stop. We loved the large size of our room. My husband and I had a large bed downstairs with another bed for another child. Other teens stayed upstairs in the loft. It was perfect. Staff was accommodating. Breakfast was amazing. We will recommend this hotel to everyone. It was perfect for our visiting family of 5.

Only tip.... on the website and emails, it says the closest ferry stop is Ca' d'Oro Stop 0.1 km. That is on the OTHER SIDE of the Canal. It is better to get off at Rialto Mercato and walk. It was not far. I would not recommend getting off at the other stop as you would have to take a private water taxi (and pay more money), instead of going down one stop and double backing. It was only a 2-3 minute walk. We loved how this hotel was RIGHT ON THE CANAL!!!

The hotel has a modern vibe which we really liked throughout, the room was a good size for a couple for the weekend with a large walk in shower. Breakfast was lovely and great choice, in the evening about 7pm they would go into the room and get it ready for night time with slippers and a little mat next to each side of the bed, with a small chocolate just a small gesture but was really nice. We would highly recommend it to other couples going to Venice with great location and proximity to the Rialto bridge.

The location was fantastic. Right in the middle of everything and easily walkable to everything. The staff at the hotel were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is modern and not ornate old style. It was clean and the bed was incredibly comfortable. All modern features like USB socket chargers. The breakfast had a mix of hot and cold and plenty of choice. The restaurant is largely inside: there are a few small tables outside which are nice for a drink we’re not inviting for dinner.

Where shall I start? Not our first time in Venice and already had several hotels. This hotel is a reference of what it should be. Nice room overlooking courtyard. Super service from all the staff. Thanks to front desk, breakfast people and maintenance. The reception: correct and friendly service and helped me out with securing my camera. The room: our room was on the fourth floor. Beautiful and modern room with very good bed, nice decoration and squeaky clean. The maintenance: room and bathroom were polished to perfection. The hallways, stairs and common parts neat and top notch. Breakfast: complete, variety of offerings, super service from bartender who makes desired coffee for you. Kitchen staff who replenishes everything on time and makes sure everything stays tidy. All with a mean and smiling good morning. A big congratulations and respect for the staff their efforts. Location of the hotel: nice and central on the canal, next to the market. Easily accessible and quick to find. The hotel exudes friendliness and is finished to perfection. The full watch theme is reflected in the smallest detail. We will return next year and already know where we will stay!

I have not been able to find any downside. Everything was taken care of to perfection.

We had a room on the 2. Floor with beautiful views over the grand Canal. The hotel is directly on the Canal and in the afternoon we enjoyed drinks and snacks on the terrace watching the Boats go by. Very romantic setting. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff when we needed anything. Close walking distance to lots of Restaurant and famous Landmarks.

The variety of the Breakfast Buffet was limited, but this is not really a dealbreaker.

This hotel is a hidden gem. Not only is it in an amazing location (just around the corner from the great fish market, close to Rialto bridge, many trattorias and bars nearby, but still a rather quiet area and not overrun by tourists, directly at the canal), it is also a wonderful boutique hotel with great design elements (all around watches, clocks and time - hence the name). Unlike many other hotels in Venice, you won't find the typical palatial interior design here - instead you have modern, cool rooms with all new and chic bathrooms and new and very comfortable beds. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and always available for anything you need - with a smile.

While it was great to be able to open the windows (and take in view from the canal), it also meant that there were a lot of mosquitoes in the rooms. The hotel does have repellent plugs at the ready, though, you just have to ask at reception. The breakfast was good, but not great. Here, they could be offering a bit more - although everything was fresh and tasted good.
