Fabulous room with a beautiful view of the lagoon. The staff were excellent and catered to our every need. The views and scenery ( gardens, Olympic pool area etc) were stunning. Had the best fish meal ( turbot and asparagus) I’d ever tasted in a restaurant (and it was only the bar restaurant). The chocolates they gave us in the room on arrival were divine. Breakfast was lavish. We felt pampered the whole time and had a wonderful romantic holiday.

We loved taking the private luxurious shuttle boat to San Marco island but this may be a problem for people afraid of sailing who may prefer to stay on the other side of the lagoon in walking distance of the sites. The only other negative was that the breakfast service if you order off the menu was very slow so by the time it came we had to go off. That can be managed by leaving at least an hour for a hot breakfast and also a good half hour each way to get to Piazza San Marco ( including waiting for shuttle)

Beautiful hotel, the staff were wonderful and the customer service was out of this world . The location was great , even though you weren’t in the centre of Venice it was nice to escape the bustle of Venice and the hotels regular free water taxi was perfect to get back and fore when you needed. The breakfast which is included was exceptional and we had some lovely treatments at the spa. We ate at Cips restaurant a few nights and the food was fantastic and again , the staff couldn’t do enough for you . Would certainly go back !!

We ate at the Michelin restaurant one evening and having visited many Michelin restaurants we were extremely disappointed. The taster menu was very expensive and some of the courses were well below the standard you would expect from a starred restaurant. Also the service didn’t reflect what you would expect in a Michelin restaurant . But don’t let that put you off .. eat at Cips !!

The breakfast was of such high quality truly outstanding. Served on China plates with the coffee brought in silverware. So very elegant. The service throughout the hotel is so warm and yet still professional, you arrive as guests but leave as friends.

Room was okay—didn’t give five star feeling.

Location was perfect, on the whole; staff exceptionally attentive, especially upon arrival. Warm welcome, and made to feel like old friends rather than another hotel guest. Intuitive customer service, and nothing too much trouble. Ambience relaxed luxury :-) Location and views; hotel Cipriani boat service a fabulous service to have at your disposal! Cip's club restaurant lovely, again we were very well looked after there. Relaxed atmosphere and the Sea Bass was one of the best I've tasted. All in all a very special place that we enjoyed immensely to celebrate my husbands birthday. We were also kindly upgraded to a Junior Suite with terrace/ direct pool access, which would be fantastic in the warmer months, very much feels like a resort hotel. It was lovely in March, but it will give us good reason to return in summer!!

Breakfast excellent, although on our first day, some of the a la carte menu we ordered, we had to remind the waiting staff and did wait 30 mins for an omelet and some scrambled eggs! Also, had an excellent lunch in the pool side restaurant, but again we never received the sparkling water we ordered, so just very minor gripes, but for an expensive, high end hotels group you expect fantastic service consistently.

The hotel surpassed all of our expectations. It was spotless with beautiful rooms and the best service we’ve had anywhere. Dinner at Cip’s was fantastic, again with perfect service - attentive but managing to make you feel welcome and relaxed at the same time. We were upgraded on arrival as it was my husband’s 40th and everything has been considered, including birthday breakfast cake and champagne! We can’t wait to visit our next Belmond hotel but the team at the Cipriani have set the bar very high! Thank you so much!

Nothing. It was perfect!

Beauitful, stylish resort, with extremly helpfull end flexible staff. I would like to highlight the Lady with short black hair at the front office, i guess Nicola, and the gentleman at the beach with glasses. And the lady with long braun hair at the beach. She was also very helpfull and kind. Our room was super, facing to Venice. The breakfast and the dinner at Cip’s club were also beyond expectations. Many thanks. Def will come back

Excellent and always delivered on time to our room.

There are two areas we did not like. The first was that there appeared to be a disconnect between the room tidying staff and reception. On several occasions, our room was neither tidied during the day or turned down when we went dinner. The Do Not Disturb light is difficult to see and on one occasion we turned it on by mistake (it is next to the light switch!) but a simple coordination with reception would have informed the staff that we had left to visit the islands for the rest of the day. Secondly, we were disappointed by the restricted choice in dining. The food in Chips was not very good and there was no restaurant with a more general choice of dishes.

Superb level of service everywhere. The pool is marvellous, plenty of deck chairs, towels and pool service available. Excellent breakfast, buffet and a la carte. The room is beautiful, well decorated and comfortable. Regular boat transfers are available to reach the main island, day or night.

There is nothing not to like, this is really an exceptional hotel. If you are looking for a hotel that is close to Venice but feels like a 5-star resort, this is the place.

The staff were exceptional, the choice of food and drink were extensive , absolutely delicious and enjoyed in the most splendid of surroundings, the view over the lagoon was mesmerising.
