Best located hotel in Venice! 50 meters from San Marco square, just a sotoportego away from the main street and one block from the Vaporeto dock! Super friendly staff gave us a complete map with all the great interesting spots to see in Venice and the bars with the best Select Spritz in town. The hotel has a nice rooftop with a stunning view of Venice and a delicious breakfast with fruits, croissants, cereal and good bread.

Excellent price, quality and location ratio. Very helpful staff. Clean and comfortable room. Good breakfast. Hotel is located 200 meters from vaporetto stop and San Marco square. Will be back!

The location cannot be beat—steps to the Piazza San Marco and the water buses which can take you to the train station, airport or anywhere else—like the island of Murano.

The rooms are small but that is expected for Venice. The walls and doors posed no barrier to sound leaking into the room. I literally heard our neighbors setting down their toothbrushes on the bathroom shelf! Every cough, every door opening and closing, every discussion (but not clearly enough to be interesting) was quite loud. Warning: the staff like to give a 10 minute tourism speech: be prepared to take a little time at check in!

February 2022

the room we stayed at was bigger than normal standard room. It was absolutely clean and quiet. one think I would like to point out - the room had the quietest air conditioner I have ever met in a hotel. we used it to heat up the room as we visited in February, and it was silent. just perfect for a good night sleep. usually I am irritated by air conditioner buzz at night. and there’s a beautiful terrace on the top. at warmer season that would be a perfect place to have breakfast :) the staff was very helpful with all that we asked for. water taxi to the airport was arranged, and we got the best recommendations for local restaurants - and both were superb! Cleaning lady was a delight to talk to - and when I told her we are leaving early next morning she went downstairs to the reception to arrange our breakfast box. highly recommend the place

The entrance was a bit tricky to find - just look for the hotel sign on the ground right across from the corner of Louis Vuitton shop ;)

Location, especially for first-timers to Venice. The hotel is extremely well situated next to Piazza San Marcos and the water taxi Alilaguna (1-2 minute walk to either), which can take you to and from the airport and the train station for a minimal amount (15 Euro or so per person). The hotel staff was extremely considerate and offered assistance from the very start, providing us with a map of the city without requesting one, and then pointing out certain things to do and see that a first-time visitor might miss. They also gave recommendations for best gondola rides, restaurants, and interesting things to see that aren’t inundated with tourists. Chocolates on the pillows and free glasses of Prosecco on the rooftop were nice touches. Upon leaving they even asked for our feedback, on how they could make our stay even better. Out of the four places we stayed in Italy (Venice, Florence, Naples, and Rome), this was by far the best hotel/B&B, although I had assumed that Venice would have been the worst considering the number of tourists confined to such a small area. All in all, a wonderful experience.

Breakfast — although good, with a large variety of offerings and well-presented — did not have hot eggs due to space limitations in the dinning area. However, there were plenty of cheeses, deli meats, fruits, yogurt, and breakfast pastries that ameliorated this minor issue.

Decided to go to this hotel because of the rating and comments on booking and it didn’t disappointed. We were welcomed by the rececionist Massimo and you can feel when he speaks that he really loves the city where he was born. Gave us very goos tips of what to see and adviced not so turistic restaurants that he likes a lot (Trattoria alla Madonna was an amazing advice). Regarding the hotel, it has the classic design but it doesn’t feel old or in need of being renovated. The room had the perfect temperature (i just point out that the bed doesn’t have a feather duvet so it was not very cosy), the service is quick and the cleaning was very good. Regarding the breakfast, the variety is not a lot but is enough to be satisfied (it’s not the traditional buffet where you serve yourself, you have to ask what you want and the server takes to the table). Overall, totally recommend

Loved the location of the hotel, so central yet the hotel was calm and tranquil as located up a small alleyway off the main street. All the staff were wonderful. Professional, courteous yet friendly. The breakfast was delicious with a wide choice of pastries, cold meats and eggs served by lovely staff. Thought the breakfast room, although small, was a really pleasant place to eat. Our first room was a little small but had a gorgeous terrace but as we were meeting a cruise ship in Chigoggia, we had a lot of luggage so we changed to a bigger room which was larger. The rooms were immaculately clean too! The staff were wonderful, particularly Andrea who had an incredible knowledge, passion and pride in his home city. Will definitely stay there again and would recommend unreservedly. We were travelling with our friends from LA, and they too loved the hotel.

First, finding this hotel is the great challenge! Look for slab on the street for the hotel name just in front of a little alley that leads to the hotel’s entrance. The hotel is small, but very nice and clean and a good value for the money. The location in Venice is great. It is just off St. Marks Square and about a 3 min walk from a water bus stop on the Grand Canal. It has a roof top terrace in which you can sit and order a cocktail or glass of wine, but no bar. Breakfast is also included and is buffet style, but the staff actually brings you what you point out to them. It is a little awkward, but seems to work OK. The real highlight of the hotel for us was the staff. Sara, greeted us upon arrival and check in. She gave us a map of Venice and a complete briefing on what to see as well as her favorite restaurants, patisseries, bars, and other advice. It was complete with locations she wrote on the map for us. She was a great source of information about Venice and just a pleasure to talk with. Michael delivered goodies to our room, even when not requested. Much appreciated. In all, the staff were hard working and attentive to every guest. Our room was small but nice and was very clean. I would not hesitate to stay in this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a moderately priced hotel with a great location.

The room was a bit small, but had a balcony. Service was provided to the guests, but it had to be requested from the room by calling the reception desk. This was a little awkward, say anytime you wanted a glass of wine, for example. But the staff was always quite responsive.

The hotel is located in the heart of San Marco just minutes from San Marco square. This is great for convenience to lots of the historic sites, and it also means you are in the busiest, most crowded and touristic area. The hotel is tucked away on a quiet street - but make sure to ask for an interior room. otherwise the noise and light from the busy Main Street can make it difficult to sleep. I should add we were there on a National holiday weekend so it was probably noisier than usual. staff are incredibly helpful and gracious. They give detailed recommendations of places to go and things to see. There is a lovely rooftop patio.

Street noise and light at night.
