Fantastic hotel just around corner of St Marks Square. Really friendly staff, go out their way to provide lots of useful local information. Rooms are very clean and bed really comfortable. Breakfast is typical continental, nice start to the day. Great value for money. You won't get cheaper so close to the Square.

There was nothing negative Tip - . In Venice there are mosquitos best keep windows shut. Hotel rooms do have plug in mosquito plugs.

The hotel is ideally situated in the bustling heart of Venice. Two minutes from San Marco, and 7 minutes from Rialto bridge. The staff were extremely helpful and the hotel was kept to a high standard of cleanliness. Breakfast, whilst the same each day, offered enough variety that you could start each day with something different. The breakfast room is small but beautifully kept and the view over a small square was wonderful. The air conditioning meant that when we returned to our room during the day for a break, we cooled down quickly and slept very well. Towels were replaced each day and everything was clean and tidy.

There was a tiny bit of mould on a pipe in our bathroom near the very high ceiling, and the toilet seat slipped sideways when you sat. And that's all I can say to the negative for the whole place.

Great location between St Marks and Rialto which allowed easy access across the city. Staff facilitated a room change (at a charge) prior to arriving as I hadn't realised there was no lift and porter took our luggage to the room. Room was a good size, AC worked well and no mozzies which is really important in Venice. Staff were really nice each time we went in and out, 24 hour Reception, and came over to us at water taxi pick up when our taxi to the airport seemed to be late (just slightly caught in an early morning delivery jam). Very good cost for such a well located hotel

There is no lift so not great if you have any mobility issues. Have to book a breakfast time - the room is lovely with 2 windows with good views but the small space where the food / tea/coffee is gets very crowded

The staff was super helpful and nice, all of them. The rooms were simple but cute, in venetian style. It felt rather fresh, and the bathroom as well, which is often difficult to come by in Italy in this price range. Very fluffy towels, and the bathroom door was quite thick, which is also good for privacy. The location is great, very close to San Marco.

The walls are thin and the cleaning lady woke us up every morning as she started to clean other rooms and moved around in the corridor. You can expect a wake-up-call around 9 AM. If you're a light sleeper you should know this. Or if you're planning this for your honeymoon...

The friendliest staff ever, really lovely and helpful. Recommended some great places to visit (the Carpaccio exhibition at the Doge's palace and the St Giovanni island Campanile, which had the best view of Venice, without the queue of st. Marks basilica) and some great food just around the corner from the hotel, too. A really well located hotel (took us a while to find it but once we did it was a fantastic base to explore the island), barely 5 mins from the Rialto bridge (and water taxi point) and literally around the corner from St Marks square too Very accomodating staff, can't compliment them enough. Provided umbrellas when it was raining, offered to help with luggage, let us add breakfast on last minute and just generally made it a great stay. Thankyou very much !

A little tricky to find and not all that obvious when you first look for it (but that was really our poor navigation) Worth knowing that there's no elevator (I hear that's quite common in Venice though) so be prepared to get your steps in, other than that genuinely no complaints!

Staff were fantastic, very welcoming and helpful with information, and replied to all messages before arriving. Room was very clean and was the same as was in the picture when I booked. It felt safe and secure, which I really appreciated. In an excellent location to get around. It’s really lovely.

Very minor things that you don’t have much control over, a little bit of noise through walls from other guests rooms. But type of people going there seem to be considerate and noise would not last long. Wasn’t much of a problem.

Comfortable beds, friendly and accomodating staff. Great location near San Marco, lots of shops, restaurants etc. on the streets which was great Once in the room, it was quiet so we couldn't hear the the outside noise.

Breakfast was served in the same floor level.as our room. It gets a bit noisy with dishes etc. Luckily brekky doesn't get served until 8am

This hotel has a fantastic location, it is a 2 minute walk from the duomo, with lots of restaurants and cafes on each side of it. The hotel also is stress free with 24 hour reception - you do not need to worry about figuring out codes or keys for the front door as you would in other hotels because there is always staff to assist you. We had a very nice time in Venice thanks to Hotel Orion.

The only thing I’d mention is that the pillows were low and hard - not too much of an issue if you plan on being out and about most of the time!

the staff at reception and in the breakfast room were all very friendly and extremely helpful; the breakfast room was lovely, and the breakfast was excellent. The location of the hotel was good.

The wi-fi in the room was bad; the lighting in the room was not good and there were hardly any sockets for charging. There was no socket or lighting above the table/desk for working.

The room was exceptional for a 2 star hotel. Hot water was always present, the bed was pretty good. Location was amazing, and I had an amazing view (even though it was from the bathroom) The staff was very friendly.

The limitation of not having food and drinks at the property is kind of a downer though it’s understandable. The reception deck was empty sometimes(but not often) and it just happened to be at 4 am when I was leaving the hotel in a moderate rush. The situation was very uncomfortable.
